Come join us at the Centre as Father’s Day approaches, and step into our exclusive ‘Dad’s Zone’. Don’t be fooled though, this isn’t just for the dads. Located out the front of Big W, this area is designed specifically for relaxation and ‘chilling out’. Here, you can mingle with fellow dads and engage in a game of Giant Jenga or spend quality time with your children.

But this space isn’t just about chilling out; it’s also a tribute to the incredible men we celebrate on Father’s Day. That’s why we’re giving back by offering you the chance to win a Weber Q BBQ grill. All you need to do is strike a pose in front of our themed backdrop, pretending to cook up a storm for Father’s Day, share the photo on your Instagram, and tag us for your shot at winning this ultimate Father’s Day gift.

Competition closes on the 29th of August, with the winner contacted directly on the 30th August.

Marketplace Gungahlin will be giving away one Weber Q and two lounge chairs to one lucky winner this Fathers Day.

For Customers to be eligible to go into the running to win they must take a photo at the ‘Dads Zone’ located near Big W, post it on Instagram and tag @Marketplacegungahlin. Their profile must be on public for the photo to be seen.

The competition is active from the 12th of August to the 29th of August. The winner will be contacted directly via Instagram Direct Message on the 30th of August. The chosen winner must collect their prize from Marketplace Gungahlin Centre Management office between 8:30am-5:30pm on Monday to Friday within 21 days of being notified, failure to collect will result in a redraw.

Winners will be determined via random selection from Centre Management Staff Member. Odds of winning are determined by number of participants.

Eligible participants cannot be an employee of the Centre. Employees of Centre Management and their families are not eligible to enter.

The Centre or any of its associated companies is not liable for issues arising from the prize.

By accepting the Prize winners agree to allow the Centre to publish their first name and suburb on the Centre’s Facebook and Instagram page and the Prize Winner hereby releases the Promoter and any of its associated entities from any and all liabilities that may arise from the use of the Prize.

The Promoter may collect your personal information to enter you in the competition and add you to our marketing database. The Promoter will handle your information in accordance with its privacy policy, which can be accessed at https://www.marketplacegungahlin.com.au/privacy.

Liability

The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered [including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss] or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, then it will be suspended subject to the approval of gaming authorities in NSW, where required.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the gaming authorities where required.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion and not award the prize(s) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:
Advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice at the Centre Management Office and on Marketplace Gungahlin website;
Not use the personal information you have provided.
If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision [or part thereof] shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
Participation in the Promotion implies acceptance of all conditions of entry.
