Terms and Conditions
1. Instructions and information on how to enter this promotion form part of the terms and conditions. Entry
into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promotion commences at, 12pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Sunday 1 September
2024 and concludes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 1 September 2024 (Promotional Period).
3. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over to participate in this Promotion, and not excluded from Wrest Point
or Country Club Tasmania during the Promotional Period.
4. Participating Venues:
• Links Restaurant & Watergarden Dining, Country Club Tasmania, 100 Country Club Avenue,
Prospect Vale 7250
• Boardwalk Bistro, Wrest Point, 410 Sandy Bay Road, Sandy Bay, 7005
HOW TO ENTER
5. To enter, you must, during the Promotional Period:
a. purchase a schooner or pint or stubby of Great Northern Super Crisp (Qualifying Purchase), as
available in the Participating Venue to receive a Great Northern Stubby Cooler, while stock lasts, and
an entry form; and
b. write first and last name, mobile number, and email on the entry form and place the entry form into the
specially marked entry box at the Participating Venue.
6. You can make Qualifying Purchases totaling up to four (4) standard drinks per day and you can
enter once in respect of each Qualifying Purchase. Each entry must be submitted separately in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries or other
communications. In the event of such problems or conduct, the Promoter may (subject to relevant
state and territory lottery regulations and where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery
authority) modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend the promotion.
DRAW
At the end of the Promotional Period, there will be two (2) Prize Draws conducted in total – one draw from
each Participating Venue.
PRIZE DRAW
• The Prize Draw will be held at 10.00am AEST on Monday 2 September 2024 at each Participating
Venue.
• The first valid entry drawn randomly will win the Prize.
8. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in the event a
winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid, or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).
9. Winner(s) will be contacted by phone and/or email within two (2) business days of the Prize Draws.
PRIZE
10. The prize(s) consists of one (1) Bluey Swag made by True Blue, valued $349, per Participating
Venue.
11. The overall total prize pool is up to $698.
12. The Winner(s) is responsible for collection of the prize from the participating venues within seven (7)
days of notification that they are the winner. The promoter is not responsible for delivering the prize
to the claimant.
13. Prize(s) are not transferrable and are not redeemable for cash.
14. If any prize or any element of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s
control, the Promoter may substitute a prize or element of a prize of equal or greater value at the
Promoter’s sole discretion, subject to any written directions from the relevant authorities. Winners
will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the prize or element of a prize
has been substituted at equal or greater value.
RESPONSIBLE DRINKING
15. Drink alcohol responsibly. Entries in this Promotion will be subject to the Responsible Serving of Alcohol
responsibilities of the Promoter’s staff and businesses. Consider the safe drinking levels recommended in
the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Guidelines to Reduce Health Risks from
Drinking Alcohol – see: http://www.nhmrc.gov.au/about-us/publications/ustralian-guidelines-reduce-health-
risks-drinking-alcohol. Where relevant, your participation in this Promotion may be subject to the liquor-
serving limits of the participating outlets.
COLLECTION & USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
16. As part of the Promotion, the Promoter will collect and use the Entrants' personal information in line
with the Federal Group privacy policy which is located at https://www.federalgroup.com.au/privacy-
policy/. If the Entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they will be ineligible
to enter or claim a prize in the Promotion. Submission of an entry constitutes consent by the Entrant
to the Promoter collecting their personal information for the purpose of the promotion.
17. The promotion will only use the personal information in connection with the Promotion, and entries
will be destroyed by the promotor at the end of the Promotional Period.
18. Our Privacy Policy explains how the Federal Group will manage and protect your personal
information. We are committed to protecting your personal information and believe that our Privacy
Policy represents industry best practices.
19. By accepting the prize, a winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all
reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to)
being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that Federal Group may
use any such marketing and editorial material without further notice or compensation to the winner.
GENERAL
20. Employees, successors, and assignees of the Promoter, its advertising agencies in this
Promotion, as well as immediate family and household members of same, shall be ineligible to
participate in the Promotion and shall be ineligible for any prize covered herein. The parties
acknowledge that prizes will not be payable to Promotion contestants who are in violation of this
provision.
21. Each winner is responsible for collection of the Prize, paying any associated costs and all taxes on any
Prize(s) won and authorises the deduction of such costs and taxes by the Promoter, if any, from
the prize(s) to the extent required by law.
22. All entries become the Promoter’s property once submitted. The Promoter reserves the right, at
any time, to verify the validity of an entry or disqualify any entrant whose entry is not in
accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. The decision
to verify, validate or disqualify any entry is in the Promoter’s absolute discretion.
23. In all events the Promoter will endeavour to supply the above prizes, but this is subject to
availability.
24. The Promoter’s decision will be final; no correspondence will be entered into.
25. The information on ‘How to Enter’ forms part of these terms and conditions.
26. Entrants accept that some elements of the Prize may be inherently risky or dangerous. The
Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in
relation to the Promotion or a Prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to delay or modify any aspect of this Promotion for any reason if
it is not capable of running as planned (including without limitation, by reason of tampering, fraud,
technical failures, power failures or due to any other causes unforeseen or beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter which may affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of the Promotion) but only to the extent necessary to overcome the issue that is affecting
the running of the Promotion as planned. Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, winner(s)
will not be given any alternative or compensated for any delay or modification of the Prize.
