12 Days of Christmas Competition

PROMOTION 12 Days of Christmas Competition (Promotion) will encompass the giveaway of 12
prizes daily 1-12 December 2024.
PROMOTION
PERIOD
The 12 Days of Christmas Competition commences on 11 November 2024 and
closes at 5pm on 11 December 2024. (Promotion Period)
HOW TO ENTER To enter the Promotion, participants must complete their entrant details (name,
email, postcode) in an on-line webform.
This on-line webform will feature on the Scenic Rim Eat Local Month, Visit Scenic
Rim and Scenic Rim Farm Box websites.
Competition promotion across Facebook, Instagram, email campaigns and other
digital platforms, will direct entrants to sign up on these websites.
All entries submitted by 5pm 30 November will be eligible for all draws. Entries
submitted between 5pm 30 November - 5pm 11 December 2024 will be eligible for
all available draws in the subsequent days after their entry.
WHO CAN
ENTER
(ELIGIBLE
ENTRANTS)
To be eligible to enter:
• Eligible Entrants must be residents of Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands,
Springfield, the Gold Coast or the Scenic Rim local government areas.
(South East Queensland Resident)
• Entrants must be 18 years or older to claim the prize. If the winner is under
18, the prize will be awarded to their parent or guardian.
• Employees of Scenic Rim Regional Council and competition judges are not
eligible to enter.
• If an Eligible Entrant's name is drawn out as part of the Promotion, they will
automatically become ineligible for all subsequent draws.
DRAW 12 winners will be selected across the promotion. A winner will be drawn daily
between 1-12 December 2024. (Daily Winner)
The Daily Winner will be selected through a random draw of all eligible entrants,
conducted by the Regional Events team at Scenic Rim Regional Council.
The draw will take place daily at approximately 11am. If the name of a previous draw
winner is drawn out, the name will be put aside and a subsequent draw conducted
until a winner is determined.
To claim the prize, participants must respond to contact from Scenic Rim Regional
Council via email by 12pm the following day. The winner must also provide evidence
they are a South East Queensland Resident.
If winners do not respond by 12pm on the following day, a random draw of all
entrants will be conducted at 3pm on the same day.

1 December 2024 - Scenic Rim Cooking Class - 2 x adult vouchers valued at $330.

2 December 2024 - Scenic Rim Farm Box Christmas Gift Box and Eat Local Volume
2 cookbook valued at $200.
3 December 2024 - Cauldron's Barrell Aged Award-Winning Christmas Gin valued at
$125.
4 December 2024 - Pick Your Own Flower Experience for two people at Elderflower
Farm valued at $60. This experience is only available seasonally. Additional terms
and conditions may apply.
5 December 2024 - Scenic Rim Brewery Beer selection valued at $100.
6 December 2024 – Camel Ride and Tour, Taste & Camel Encounter for a family of
4 at Summer Land Camels valued at $230. Additional terms and conditions may
apply.
7 December 2024 - Witches Falls Wine selection and Eat Local Volume 2 cookbook.

8 December 2024 – Butcher Co. half leg maple Christmas ham (bone in approx.
2.8kg) available through Scenic Rim Farm Box and Eat Local Volume 2 cookbook
valued at $155.
9 December 2024 - Wine, Cheese and Alpacas Picnic Experience for 2 adults at
Mountview Alpaca Farm voucher valued at $110. Additional Terms and conditions
may apply.
10 December 2024 - Scenic Rim Farm Box Christmas Selection and Eat Local
Volume 2 cookbook valued at $180.
11 December 2024 - Tamborine Mountain Distillery Spirit Blending Class for 2 adults
voucher valued at $150. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
12 December - Grand Prize - Leave Christmas to Us Scenic Rim Farm Box with
Butcher Co. half leg maple ham (bone in approx. 2.8kg), two bottles of O'Reilly's
Canungra Valley Vineyards wine and Eat Local Volume 2 cookbook valued at $385.
There will be 12 winners, each receiving a prize as valued above.
Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or
other prizes.
Additional terms and conditions may apply to each prize and these will be advised to
each winner.
NOTIFICATIONS
OF WINNERS
Winners will be contacted via email.
Winners may be requested to participate in a photograph for publication. A release
form will be provided should the Eligible Entrant consent to a photo. Unwillingness to
participate in a photograph for publication does not exclude the entrant from winning
the prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Entry Information and Requirements:
1. Name and photograph of the Eligible Entrants may be used in advertising and promotional
material by Council in any medium (including, but not limited to television, print, press, cinema,
radio, email, website and social media) and by accepting the prize the Eligible Entrant consents
to the above use.
2. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the Terms and Conditions governing the
Promotion.
3. Entry to the 12 Days of Christmas Competition is free.
4. The winner will be required to provide Council with their personal details (name and contact
details). They may choose to participate in a photograph.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any property or entry into the Promotion at any time.
6. Entrants may opt out of being contacted by Council by unsubscribing to future communications.
7. This promotion is offered in good faith and is not to give rise to any legal dispute and is binding in
honour only and can be cancelled at any time without notice.
8. In case of a dispute or challenge, Scenic Rim Regional Council's decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
9. Acceptance of prizes indemnifies Scenic Rim Regional Council of any responsibility and Scenic
Rim Regional Council accepts no responsibility for and harm or financial loss that may arise from
the use of the prizes.
10. Participation in this competition shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the State of Queensland and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Court of
Queensland and all Courts competent to hear appeals there from.
