While we have been established since 1960, our new building has been around for nearly one year now. We’re excited to celebrate our milestone with a 1-year birthday party, and you’re all invited. We’re raising a glass to our members, staff and community who have stuck with us. Here’s to the past, the present and many more years to come!

For every $5 spent within the club, you’ll earn one digital entry. Purchases over $5 will accumulate entries based on the total amount spent. For example, a $15 spend earns three entries.

Receive double entries on Monday to Wednesday.

To activate your entries, members must swipe their membership card between 3pm and 7:25pm on Tuesday, 25th March 2025. Entries will not be valid if activation is not completed during this period.

Hip Hip Hooray Car Giveaway Terms and Conditions

The promotion period runs from 08:00 AEDT Saturday 1 st January 2025 until 19:25 AEDT Tuesday
25th March 2025.
1. Eligibility
1.1. Entry is open to current financial Members of Gosford RSL Club over the age of 18 at the time of
entry.
1.2. Employees and Directors of Gosford RSL Club, Ashwood Motel and Galaxy Motel are ineligible to
enter.
Entry Requirements
2.1. Single entries are earned for every $5.00 (500 Gosford RSL Club member points, Community
Cash and Gosford RSL gift cards are all accepted as valid forms of payment) spent at Gosford RSL Club
during the promotional period.
2.2. Double entries will be awarded on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays throughout the
promotional period.
2.3. Eligible members must swipe their cards at Point of Sale terminal for purchases made during the
promotional period
2.4. Entries only become valid if the eligible member is present and swipes their card at any POS or
Kiosk terminal from 15:00 AEDT on Tuesday 25th March 2025.
2.5. Entries will close at 19:25 AEDT on Tuesday 25th March 2025.
2.6. Gosford RSL Club reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries. No responsibility is
accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
2.7. Money spent in TAB, Keno, Poker Machines and Functions is excluded for this promotion.
2.8. For the avoidance of doubt, entries will not be awarded on complimentary items.
3. Games
3.1. Interactive games and promotions will commence on 25th February to 25th March 2025.
Members playing the game through the Gosford RSL app will have the opportunity to win rewards,
which may include a complimentary drink, complimentary garlic bread, or bonus entry tickets.
4. Prizes
4.1. The prize for the Hip Hip Hooray Giveaway is a Glacier White RAV4 GX 2024 valued at $45,000
RRP.
4.2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives unless
agreed upon by Toyota or other external parties.
4.3. The winner is responsible for any costs associated with the prize that are not expressly covered
by Gosford RSL Club, including but not limited to registration, insurance, fuel, ongoing maintenance,
and any additional features or upgrades.
4.4. Prizes will be drawn from 18:00 on Tuesday 25th March 2025. Twenty (20) members will be
selected in four (4) groups of five (5) from the virtual barrel. Each selected participant will choose a
present to reveal a cash prize or a letter, which will detail that they have received the chance to win
the car. The total minor prize pool is $10,000.
5. Winner Selection
5.1. The winner selection process will take place from 18:00 Tuesday, 25th March, 2025, at Gosford
RSL Club.
5.2. From 18:00, twenty (20) participants will be selected from the virtual barrel in four (4) groups of
five (5).
5.3. The winner will be picked on the day and must be onsite. The winner will have four (4) minutes
to claim their prize from first call.
5.4. If the winner fails to claim the prize within four (4) minutes of notification, Gosford RSL Club
reserves the right to redraw the prize.
5.5. Each selected participant will choose a present, revealing either a cash prize or a party hat.
5.6. At 20:00, the five (5) participants who have won a party hat will proceed to the major car draw in
The Gardens terrace.
5.7. In order from the virtual draw selection, each participant will choose a buzzer. One buzzer will
play a celebratory “Hip Hip Hooray!” sound, indicating the car winner.
• One (1) participant will win the major prize: Glacier White RAV4 GX 2024.
• Four (4) participants will each win a cash prize.
5.8. Finalists must be present during the buzzer selection to remain eligible for their prize. Any
finalist who fails to arrive at the buzzer location within four (4) minutes of being notified will be
disqualified, and an alternate participant may be selected at Gosford RSL Club’s discretion.
5.9. Gosford RSL Club’s decision regarding the winner selection is final and binding. No
correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
6. Prize Collection
6.1. The winner must provide valid identification and any additional documentation required by
Gosford RSL Club to claim the prize.
6.2. The car must be collected from Brian Hilton Toyota from Wednesday 26th March 2025 onwards
unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Gosford RSL Club.
6.3. Gosford RSL Club will not be liable for any costs incurred by the winner to collect the prize.
7. Publicity
7.1. By entering Hip Hip Hooray, participants consent to the use of their name, image, and likeness
for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
7.2. The winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities, including but not limited
to photo opportunities and videography, as requested by Gosford RSL Club.
8. Liability
8.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gosford RSL Club shall not be liable for any loss, damage,
or injury suffered as a result of participating in Hip Hip Hooray or accepting the prize.
8.2. Gosford RSL Club assumes no responsibility for technical, hardware, or software failures, lost or
unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, or delayed entries due to technical problems
or any other reason beyond Gosford RSL Club’s control.
8.3. Gosford RSL Club reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend Hip Hip Hooray if it cannot be
conducted as planned due to any reason beyond Gosford RSL Club’s control.
9. Privacy
9.1. Any personal information collected as part of Hip Hip Hooray will be handled in accordance with
Gosford RSL Club’s Privacy Policy, available at Gosford RSL Privacy Policy
9.2. Participants’ information will only be used for the purposes of administering Hip Hip Hooray
unless they have opted to receive additional communications.
10. Disqualification
10.1. Gosford RSL Club reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms and
conditions or engages in any unlawful or improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fairness of
Hip Hip Hooray.
10.2. Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive entries will result in immediate disqualification.
11. General
11.1. Gosford RSL Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without
prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being published on the Gosford RSL
Club website.
11.2. This promotion excludes TAB or gambling-related purchases.
11.3. By entering Hip Hip Hooray, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
12. Additional Clauses
12.1. Gosford RSL Club reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater
value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary.
12.2. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other
promotional material, these terms and conditions will prevail.
