Competition Period
   

12.01am (AEDT) on 25/03/2025 to 11.59pm on (AEDT) 30/04/2025.

Who can enter?
   

Only Australian residents (excluding ACT) can enter.
If you are under 18, you must get approval from your parent/guardian before you enter and if you will be under 18 on the date the prize is awarded, it will be awarded to your parent or guardian.  By approving your participation or by accepting any prize on your behalf, your parent or guardian accepts these conditions.

Who can't enter?

 
   

Directors, officers, management, employees and contractors (and their immediate families) of:
(a)              the Promoter;
(b)              the Promoter’s Franchisees; and
(c)               the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition.
Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

Where will the competition run?
   

The competition will run in participating Collins Booksellers stores (excluding online) which are displaying promotional material (Stores) in Australia (excluding ACT).

Entry instructions
   

To enter, you must, during the Competition Period:
(a)              make a Qualifying Purchase from a Store and collect your itemised purchase receipt; and
(b)              visit the Website, locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including the receipt details (Store where the purchase was made, total purchase amount and receipt number) and providing all other requested information.
The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry.

How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?

 
   

There will be 1 winner determined in respect of this competition.

There will be 1 draw conducted.

The draw will be held at 2pm (AEDT) on 02/05/2025 at Collins Booksellers Franchising Pty Ltd, 67 Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039.

The first valid entry drawn randomly from the entries received during the Competition Period will win the prize.

The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

What can I win?
   

There is 1 prize available.

The prize consists of a voucher for $500 AUD (currency) to Intrepid Travel.

The voucher is valid from 01 May 2025 until 01 May 2026 for travel by 15 December 2026. The trip must be booked and confirmed at least 28 days prior to departure. Intrepid Travel is not responsible for prize winners who do not claim the prize by the book by date. This voucher can be used towards Intrepid Travel small group adventure trips, excluding the following: All polar trips in the Arctic and Antarctic and Tailor-Made Experiences. This voucher must be redeemed against a new booking by contacting Intrepid Travel directly. The voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The voucher only applies to the tour cost and excludes airfares, accommodation, transfers, local payments/kittys, permits, visas, insurance, or optional activities not covered by the itinerary. The voucher cannot be used on existing bookings or in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers. Intrepid trips are subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid Travel. Itineraries and inclusions are subject to change without notice. Except as set out expressly above, Intrepid Travel’s Booking Conditions apply.

Total prize pool
   

The total prize pool is $500 AUD (currency)

How many times can I enter?
   

You can enter multiple times, provided you only enter once per Qualifying Purchase and per receipt.  Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

How and when will the winner/s be informed?
   

The winner will be notified by phone and in writing by email within 5 business days of determination and will have their name and state/territory of residence/postcode published on the Website on 02/05/2025 for a period of 28 days.

Proof of purchase
   

You must keep your original itemised purchase receipt(s) as proof of purchase for all entries.

If you don't produce the above proof of purchase for all entries when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize.

Proof of purchase must be identical to that provided by you with your entry.

If, in the Promoter's opinion based on the available information, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your entries will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.

Unclaimed prize/s
   

Prize claim date: By 5pm (AEDT) on 02/06/2025.

Unclaimed prize determination: 12pm (AEDT) on 05/06/2025 at the same location as the original draw.

If the prize has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact the winner (or the winner does not contact the Promoter) by the prize claim date above, the relevant entry will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the relevant prize to a Reserve Entrant and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the prize amongst valid entrants. Any such winner will be informed by phone and in writing by email within 5 business days of determination and will also have their name and state/territory of residence/postcode published on the Website on 09/06/2025 for a period of 28 days.

If the prize remains un-won at the end of this competition, or if the prize winner cannot be found, that information will be published on the Website on 05/07/2025.

Collection and use of your personal information
   

If you are a winner, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation.  You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity.

The Promoter may collect your personal information directly or through the Promoter's agents or contractors.  The Promoter will use your personal information to conduct and manage the competition. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to the Promoter's related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this competition, communicating with you or storing data.

By entering, you consent to the Promoter keeping your personal information on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging provided that where required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Promoter includes a functional unsubscribe facility in each direct marketing communication it sends you that you may use to opt-out of any further such communications and provided that the functional unsubscribe facility complies with the Spam Regulations 2021 (Cth). By entering, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this competition
