Crikey! Cameron the crocodile is on the loose again at Australia Zoo!

Capture Cameron is back at Australia Zoo and you could win a luxurious family holiday at The Crocodile Hunter Lodge, complete with Australia Zoo admission, daily breakfast at Warrior Restaurant & Bar and more!

Visit Australia Zoo between 16th May – 15th June and strike your best wrangling pose capturing Cameron, our 8.2-metre crocodile statue.

Terms and Conditions:

1) Entries will be accepted from anywhere around the world; however, travel costs will not be covered by Australia Zoo.
2) Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3) Employees (and their immediate families) of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4) Australia Zoo reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
5) The promotion commences 9am on May 16, 2025, and final entries close at 11:59pm on June 15, 2025, AEST. Australia Zoo will select the winner within 10 business days of receiving the final entries. The winner will be notified within 5 business days of selection via Facebook.
6) To enter, the entrants must follow all steps of the competition:
- Take an original photo wrangling Cameron the Crocodile statue at Australia Zoo between May 16
and June 15, 2025, and post it on your Facebook page using the hashtag #CaptureCameron
- SHARE your photo on the Australia Zoo Facebook page, to ensure we can see your entry
- Within 10 business days of the competition closing the Australia Zoo panel will select the best
photo.
7) The individual who posts the photo must own the intellectual property.
8) Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from Australia Zoo, based on creativity, and all decisions
will be final. The competition is based on the photo. Chance plays no part in determining the
winners.
9) The prize is non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. All decisions are final and no
correspondence will be entered into. Australia Zoo accepts no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries. Entries will be deemed void if forged, inappropriate, offensive or in breach of Facebook terms and conditions in any way.
10) Entrants warrant that:
- Their entry is original and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party;
and
- Their entry does not contain any content that is sexually explicit; violent or derogatory towards
any ethnicity, race, gender, religion, profession, age group; profane or , obscene or
offensive or violates any law.
11) By entering this promotion, the participant grants Australia Zoo and its licensees and assignees a
non-exclusive license to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout the world for the entry at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to display the entry or any part of the entry in whole or in part in any media, including on the Australia Zoo Facebook page. The participant acknowledges that they will not be entitled to any compensation for this continued use.
12) This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook (or any businesses owned by Meta). Entrants release Facebook from any and all liability resulting in this competition.
13) Prize is valid for 6 months and includes:
- Two consecutive nights’ accommodation at The Crocodile Hunter Lodge including free daily breakfast for each guest, unlimited Australia Zoo entry for each guest during your stay, a sneak peek entry to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, complimentary shuttle service to and from Australia Zoo, and use of the lodge infinity pool.
- Valid for 2 adults and 2 kids (14 years and younger).
The Crocodile Hunter Lodge – Terms and Conditions
1) Accommodation is subject to availability and may not include peak periods including holiday periods and public holidays.
2) The prize cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used consecutively.
3) The booking is for travel up until December 31, 2025.
4) Changes and cancellations are not permitted.
5) Additional charges, fees or difference in price to be paid by the winner.
