Terms & Conditions:
1. These Terms and Conditions apply in respect of the IKEA “50 years of IKEA Australia”
Competition (Competition). By submitting an entry to this Competition, you agree
that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and
Conditions. Information and material used to market the Competition or to explain
how to enter the Competition forms part of these Terms (except that, if there is an
inconsistency between that information and material and these Terms, these Terms
and Conditions prevail). These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding
contract between you as an Eligible Participant and IKEA Pty Limited (“IKEA”, “we”,
“us”, “our”, “Promoter”).
2. Promoter: The Promoter is IKEA Pty Limited (ABN 84 006 270 757) of 630 Princes
Highway, Tempe NSW 2044.
3. Competition Period: The Competition commences at 12.00am (Sydney Time) on
Tuesday, 13 May 2025 and closes at 11.59 pm (Sydney Time) on Tuesday, 3 June
2025.
4. ‘Game of Chance’: The Competition constitutes a Game of Chance.
5. Eligible Participant: Entry is only open to Australian Residents who meet all the
following criteria:
a. Are 18 years of age or over;
b. Provide their IKEA Family Membership details with their submitted entry;
c. Are willing to produce official government identification (if requested by the
Promoter); and
b. Are not directors, management, contractors and employees of the
Promoter and its related companies (whilst directors, management,
contractors or employees of the Promoter cannot enter, their immediate
family are eligible to enter if they satisfy the criteria in this clause 8).
6. ‘Australian Residents’ (under Clause 5) means a person who:
a. Is currently residing in Australia (at the time that IKEA Australia received
and time-stamped the submitted entry); and
b. Has a State Government issued (Official driver's license and/or proof of age
card) identification that is current and valid that corresponds to a
residential address in Australia.
For the avoidance of doubt, you are not considered an Australian Resident if you
reside in New Zealand at the time of the submitted entry and/or you do not have a
fixed address for Australian residency (as demonstrated by official identification
under this clause 6).
7. Total Prize Pool of $25,600: Each Prize in the Competition is an IKEA branded pair
of flip-flops valued at $8 each (Prize) and will be available for collection by the
selected winners. The Prize will be only available for personal collection from any of
our IKEA Retail Stores in Australia. There are three hundred and twenty winners
(320) in each draw. Each draw has a maximum prize pool value of $2,560. There are
three thousand and two hundred (3,200) of the Prize(s) in total with the total prize
pool valued at $25,600. Each IKEA Australia store will have an allocation of 320
Prizes.
8. No correspondence: The Promoter’s Decision is final. By entering this Competition,
you acknowledge that no correspondence will be entered into with any person(s) in
relation to any individual feedback and/or disputes about the Promoter's decision
as to the competition winners.
9. Entrant: Each Eligible Participant who complies with all of the following
requirements is an Entrant for this Competition:
a. submits an Entry in accordance with paragraph 10
b. is an IKEA Family member at the time of submitting their response to IKEA;
and
c. provides a mobile number for contact that corresponds to the mobile
number contact as provided for that registered IKEA Family member
account.
10. Competition questions and entry requirements: Entrants will be required to visit
a designated competition portal on the www.ikea.com.au website and will be
required to answer 5 questions correctly. The questions are multiple choice based
and the topic of the question are trivia facts regarding IKEA’s activities in Australia.
Unlimited multiple attempts are allowed to answer the questions correctly. Only
entries with all correct answers selected will be accepted into the Draw. No other
entry means will be accepted except through the designated competition web
portal. There is a maximum of one (1) entry per Eligible Participant during the
Promotion Period.

11. Store nomination: Each Entrant will need to select as part of the entry process at
Clause 10 the nominated IKEA Australia Retail Store they wish to collect their prize if
they are selected as a winner. This selection once selected is not capable of
amendment or re-nomination. Clause 16 applies if the Entrant can no longer attend
the store to collect the Prize.

12. Winner determined by Draw: There will be a total of ten (10) draws with 320
Winners selected for each IKEA Australia Retail store as outlined in the table
included in condition 11, with a total of 3,200 winners Australia wide. The draws will
take place at the offices of MDSA, Level 16, 1 Denison Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2060
on 10 June 2025 at 10.00am (Sydney time).
13. Verification and disqualification: Any entry not complying with these Terms is
invalid. The Promoter reserve the right, in its sole discretion to:
a. deem invalid any Entry that is otherwise incomprehensible, offensive or
incomplete, or which includes defamatory, insulting, inflammatory,
objectionable or profane material, or which breaches any law, or which
does not comply with these Terms;
b. verify that each entry is a valid Entry; and
c. disqualify any entry that is not a valid Entry.
A decision by the Promoter to not exercise its rights under this paragraph 10 does
not constitute a waiver of these rights.
14. Notification: The Prize winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of
the draw via the person’s IKEA Family registered details. Any updates to the
person’s IKEA Family registered contact details must be made prior to entering the
Competition (on the entrant’s IKEA Family account).
15. Publication: The winner’s the winners first initial, last name and postcode will be
published on our website on IKEA.com.au from 13 June 2025 for a duration of 28
days.
16. Delivery of Prize: There is no delivery of the Prize. If the Entrant cannot collect the
Prize from the selected IKEA Retail store (address included in condition 11) by 29
June 2025, the prize will be forfeited. Each prize must be collected by the Entrant
personally and cannot be collected by a third party. Proof of ID (Clause 6b) and IKEA
Family membership is required before the Prize can be collected. Failure to
produce suitable Proof of ID will be considered as forfeiture of the prize.
