Entry

1. Entry is open to all persons over the age of 18 years in Australia who have entered the required details on the form hosted on Challenger’s website challenger.com.au/7milebeachcomp or via the form hosted on Facebook. To be eligible for the competition each of these criteria need to be met. Only one entry per person.

Any prize awarded is personal to the individual and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

2. The competition opens 12 June 2025 and closes midnight 24 July 2025. The winning entry will be selected on Monday, 28 July 2025. The winner will be contacted on Wednesday 30 July 2025 using the information provided in the form.

3. Entry is not open to employees or agents (and their immediate families) of Challenger Group and Challenger’s associated entities. The judges may disqualify an entry by any person if, in their absolute discretion, inclusion of the entry would adversely affect public confidence in the competition or the reputation of Challenger or its associated entities. Entrants must, if requested by Challenger at any time, provide details of their employment, and age.

4. To be eligible for entry, entrants must complete the competition entry form available on the Challenger website or a form hosted on Facebook. Entrants must be over the age of 18 years and provide a valid email address and a mobile number. Entrants must answer all fields in the form including writing in English an answer to ‘Tell us in 25 words or less what’s on your retirement bucketlist?’

 
Prize

5. There will be one winner for the prize of a Tasmania Golfing Weekend. The prize package includes return economy flights for four to Tasmania within Australia (with overweight baggage allowance for golf clubs), two nights’ accommodation in two hotel rooms staying at The Tasman, a Luxury Collection 5-Star Hotel, Hobart, All-Day Passes to play golf with unlimited rounds at the exclusive 14-hole 7 Mile Beach golf course (green fees included) for four people on Saturday, 6 September 2025, optional club hire of brand-new Titleist golf clubs if needed, and a dinner for four at Peppina Italian Restaurant (Gift voucher for $650, valid for 3 years from date of purchase). The Tasmania Golfing Weekend is scheduled for Friday, 5 September to Sunday, 7 September 2025. The total prize is valued at up to 7,000 AUD.

6. The prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. If the prize is unavailable for any reason, Challenger reserves the right to replace that prize with another prize of comparable value.

 
Determination of winners

7. The winner will be contacted directly by a Challenger representative using the contact details provided in the entry form. The winner will need to have provided a valid email address to claim the prize. The winner must respond within 5 days to claim the prize, if not the prize will be redrawn.

8. The competition is a game of skill.

9. At the time and date specified in the “Entry” section, each valid entry will be judged based on creativity, originality, and relevance by a judging panel, consisting of individuals with relevant expertise and experience.

10. The winning entry will be the entry deemed the best based on the judging criteria.

11. The decision is final and binding, and no correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into. Challenger reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify entrants who do not comply with the terms, do not participate in the competition in good faith or who interfere with the entry process.

12. Challenger reserves the right to request the winning entrant to provide proof of their identity.

 
Liability

13. It is the responsibility of each entrant to notify Challenger of any change to their contact details within 5 days.

14. No responsibility will be taken by Challenger for lost or late entries. Further no responsibility will be taken by Challenger if a system or form glitch occurs during the submission process.

15. Challenger accepts no liability for any loss, damage or any personal injury whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any entrant or third party (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss or damages) as a result of the competition or taking the prize and/or use of any element of the prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

16. Each entrant indemnifies Challenger against any losses suffered or incurred in connection with any claim which arises as a result of the entrant’s participation in the competition and taking the prize or use of any element of the prize.

17. Challenger reserves the right to vary the terms of, or cancel, the Competition at any time without liability to any entrant or other person, subject to applicable laws.

 
Intellectual property and privacy

18. Challenger reserves the right to capture video footage of the prize winner and their friends during the Tasmania Golfing Weekend to be used by Challenger in post promotional content, via Challenger social media.

19. Personal information of entrants will be collected by Challenger, entered into a database, and used to offer products and services of Challenger, its related entities, and business partners. This may include marketing communications via email, phone, and SMS. You may contact Challenger to seek access to the information Challenger holds about you or to inform us you wish to be removed from our contact list.
