Adelaide Arcade have been celebrating all things South Australia since 1885 and this event is a fantastic opportunity to highlight what makes this iconic shopping precinct truly special: the proudly South Australian-owned businesses!!!! With over 90% of traders being SA-owned, the event will shine a spotlight on local stories, encourage community connection, and align with the Buy SA week message to support SA businesses!!!! OmMade Meet the Maker will host workshops on the Grenfell Street balcony including pottery, flower pounding, crochet, henna, plus in-store wine and chocolate tastings. Zu design will launch a new exhibition titled SAcred. This exhibition will showcase new work by South Australian makers, inspired by South Australia. Local makers will showcase their crafts in the centre of the Arcade. Pencraft the Boutique will run a postcard-writing activation featuring a custom-designed Adelaide Arcade postcard created by a T'Arts artist. T'Arts maker (Sally Heinrich) is designing exclusive Adelaide Arcade tote bags and tea towels available for purchase on the day, a great memento!!! Haigh's Chocolates will offer product sampling throughout the event and if you spend $50+ you'll receive a 200g pack of Milk Chocolate Speckles (valued at $15.90). So much to see and do, it will be an awesome way to get involved in Buy SA week and enjoy one of the most amazing shopping precincts in SA!!!! It's all happening Saturday August 2nd, see you there!
