TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By entering the Sunrise Qantas x July Competition (“Competition”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
STANDARD TERMS
Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of Australia, 18 years of age or older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited (“Promoter”), Qantas Airways Limited (“Sponsor”) and their associated agencies and companies and any prize suppliers are not eligible to enter.
In this clause 2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling.
The competition commences on Monday 4th August 2025 at 05.30am (AEST) and concludes on
Friday 8th August 2025 at 12.00pm (AEST) (the “Competition Period”).
For entry details, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) scheduled to be broadcast on the Seven Network (“the Network”) between 05:30am to 09:00am during the Competition Period. There will be a competition segment featured during the Program (or any replacement program broadcasted by Seven in the relevant timeslot) throughout the Competition Period, which will display information on how to enter.
In order to enter, viewers must:
a) Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and postcode), email address, and mobile phone number on the Competition page; and
b) Submit an answer to the competition question, “Tell us in 25 words or less why you deserve to win this prize?”
c) Confirm that they are able to answer a phone call or video call between 05:30am to 09:00am from Tuesday, 5th August 2025 to Saturday, 9th August 2025 if they are the lucky winner.
Entrants can enter as many times as they like, throughout the competition period. Entries must be received by Friday 8th August 2025 at 12.00pm (AEST).

3.6 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
(b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other parties.
3.7 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The prize winners agree to grant the Promoter and Sponsor a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their entries in all media worldwide and the prize winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.8 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.9 Neither the Promoters nor Sponsor are responsible for any data or other information related to this competition that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
3.10 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. PRIZE
4.1 There will be Five (5) Prize Winners (“Winners”). in total throughout the duration of the
Competition. The Winners will each be awarded One of the following prizes (“Prize”):

4.2 The maximum prize value is $14,000.00 AUD
4.3 The Voucher element of the Prize is valid until 30 June 2027 and can be used for part or full payments with Qantas. If the Winner does not use the voucher by 30 June 2027, they will forfeit the Voucher element of the Prize.
4.4 If after using the Voucher, there is a balance remaining, this must be paid with a valid credit/charge card or through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
4.5 If any changes are made to any flight bookings using the Voucher, any applicable change fees will be the responsibility of the Winner and are required to be paid via credit/charge card. If the value of the revised booking is greater than the original booking, the difference must be paid via credit/charge card. If the value of the revised booking is less than the original booking, the Winner will be refunded the difference to the original method of payment, however this only applies if the difference had been originally paid by credit or charge card. Any Voucher amounts will not be refunded to the voucher and no replacement voucher will be issued.
4.6 Any booking cancellation fees cannot be paid for with the voucher and are payable by credit/charge card only.
4.7 Vouchers are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods or services.
4.8 The voucher may be transferred, however the validity will be forfeited if it is sold.
4.9 Vouchers cannot be traded or exchanged for an alternative prize.
4.10 Flights will be subject to the Qantas Conditions of Carriage, which can be found here https://www.qantas.com/au/en/book-a-trip/flights/conditions-... Other conditions may also apply.
4.11 The Winner is responsible for their own expenses in relation to any travel required to get to the departure destination or any other associated costs with claiming or using the Prize. This includes, but is not limited to accommodation, travel insurance, meals, spending money, visas, border entry requirements, ground transfer costs and any government or airport levied taxes.
4.12 Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Prize is not included. These are the responsibilities of the Winner.
4.13 The redemption of the Prize is subject to availability.
4.14 The Prize value is in Australian dollars. The Promoter and Sponsor accept no responsibility for any variation in the Prize values. The Winner is advised that tax implications may arise from winning the Prize, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the Prize and the Promotor and Sponsor accept no liability for any tax implications that may arise from claiming the Prize.
4.15 Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accepts the conditions of use of that prize.
4.16 If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter and/or Sponsors in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal or greater value.
4.17 Once confirmed in writing, travel dates and names of those travelling are not changeable without incurring extra fees. The Promoter and Sponsors do not accept responsibility for any fees incurred as a result of any changes made and these costs will be borne by the Prize Winners.
4.18 Unless specified, the Winner and their travelling companions are responsible for all other expenses incurred including but not limited to taxes, transport, accommodation, meals, beverages, travel insurance, excess baggage, and items of a personal nature are the sole responsibility of the entrant.
4.19 Prize travel is subject to availability at the time of booking and prize travel is subject to availability of prize travel fares at the time of booking.
4.20 If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
4.21 Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative prize.
4.22 The Promoter or Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any prize component which is lost, delayed, misdirected or damaged during transit and delivery, including but not limited to issues arising from postal or courier services. No replacements will be offered in such cases.
4.23 The Promoter or Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance or redemption of the prize, or this Competition. Independent financial advice should be sought by the Winner prior to accepting the Prize. The Promoter and Sponsor accept no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
4.24 Prizes are not transferable and not refundable.
4.25 In the event that an element of the Prize outlined in Clause 4.1 above is, for any reason, cancelled, postponed or not available, that element(s) of the Prize will be considered as forfeited and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the Prize. If, for any reason whatsoever, a Winner does not take an element of their Prize within the time period stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize.
4.26 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses related to the Prizes become the responsibility of the Winners. All costs associated with the Prize which are not expressly stated in these terms and conditions to be included, including but not limited to additional cost for transportation.
4.27 In participating in Competition, the prize winners agree to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The prize winners grant the Promoter and Sponsor a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the prize winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.28 The prize winners agree that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.29 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Prize Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Sponsor and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.30 The Prize Winners must provide valid identification to the Promoter upon the Promoter’s request. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Prize at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be Five (5) Prize Winners (“Winners”) of the Competition.
5.2 The Five (5) Prize Winners will be judged and announced on the dates stipulated in the table below, at Seven Network, 8 Central Avenue Eveleigh NSW 2015. Prize Winners will be judged from all valid entries received (online) prior to the corresponding Winner judging.

5.3 Each entrant who has entered the Competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the Competition.
5.4 Each Winner will be the best valid entry as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter having regard to authenticity, and originality. The Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
5.5 The Winners’ names will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of judging. The Winners will be contacted by telephone or email within two (2) business days of the publication. The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge in the event of a redraw.

Winner not claiming the Prize by 10:00am AEDT on Monday 3rd November 2025. If required, a re-judging will take place at 10:30am AEDT on Monday 3rd November 2025 at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015. The alternative Winner, if any, will be notified in writing and by phone within two (2) business days of the re-judging and their name published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of re-judging.
