Terms and conditions of entry to WA Good Food Guide’s 52 Incredible Venues in 52 Weeks Competition

    Instructions on how to enter and prize information form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
    The promoter is West Australian Good Food Guide Awards Unit Trust.

    Entry is open to residents of Australia aged eighteen years or over only. Persons under the age of 18 years are not considered adults and therefore are not able to enter. If a winner is discovered to be under 18, they will automatically be disqualified.
    Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
    The WAGFG WA Stays Competition commences at 9am on 31 July 2025 and closes at 11.59pm on 14 September 2025. (“Promotional Period”).
    To enter, entrants must fill out the entry form and follow WA Good Food Guide and all participating partners on Instagram.
    There is no cost to enter the Promotion.
    The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entries which contravene these Terms and Conditions, including any incomplete or indecipherable entries.
    The selection of the winner will take place in Perth at 2pm on 15 September 2025.
    The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    Only the winners will be notified by email. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, they forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected. An alternate winner will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entrants.
    The Promoter will have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to the winner’s spam, junk email or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
    The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes.
    All competition entrants must reside in Australia. Winners entering from outside Australia will be disqualified.
    The Promoter reserves the right to, at any time, verify the validity of entries and entrant details (e.g. entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and disqualify an individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
    All entries in the competition become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to conduct the competition and may, in the course of business, disclose the personal information to third parties, as required. Entry in this competition is conditional on the provision of the personal information requested.
    By entering, entrants agree to receive marketing communications from WAGFG. Entrants can unsubscribe at any time.
    In the event of war, terrorism, pandemic or epidemic, state of emergency, government restrictions or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or suspend or modify a prize. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion without notice.
    The Promoter is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury in relation to this competition or the use of, or participation in, the prize.
    These Terms and Conditions will bind this and any future entry by you into a competition through a WAGFG media channel site and may be updated from time to time.
    The first prize winner will be provided with vouchers or booking codes to the four properties listed below. These vouchers/codes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. All bookings are subject to availability and must be pre-booked. The total prize value of the first prize is $4,588. Vouchers/codes will be emailed or posted directly to the winner by each venue. Conditions for each individual property are as follows:
        Cherubino Guest Houses: Voucher valid until 31/12/2025. Voucher is valid for up to six adults, additional portacot or trundle bed can be supplied on request.
        Jarrahview Lodge: Voucher valid for 12 months from date of issue. Voucher is valid for up to six adults and cannot be used during WA school holidays or long weekends.
        Maya Maya: Voucher is valid for three years from date of issue. Voucher is valid for up to two guests and cannot be redeemed from 25 December to 2 January annually.
        Farmers’ Home: A physical voucher will be posted and is valid for 12 months from date of issue. The voucher is valid for two guests and is for a Farmhouse Room. In the event a Farmhouse Room is not available for preferred dates, the prize winner may choose to stay in a Parlour Room with the value difference forfeited.
    The second prize winner will receive a $2,000 voucher for La Casa Homewares. This voucher is valid for 12 months from date of issue and cannot be used on sale item pricing.
    The total value of the prizes is $6,588
    All Prize redemptions are also subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the supplier (for example, the property).
    Any additional costs above the value of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
    The winner is solely responsible for determining who to share the Prize with.
    Travel arrangements to and from the properties are the responsibility of the winner.
     It is the responsibility of the winner to alert the individual venues to any allergies and/or medical conditions where relevant.
