1. How to enter

Entry into the competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who hold a current Club Marine Pleasure Craft Insurance Policy and Club Marine Magazine subscription at the time of each Prize Draw.

The Promoter is Club Marine Limited of Level 26, 555 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000, phone 1300 00 2582, ABN 12 007 588 347.

Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, participating agents and their agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry and to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly may be deemed by the Promoter as an invalid entry.

2. Conditions of entry

(a) Entry into the competition is automatically provided to all Club Marine members who hold a current Club Marine Pleasure Craft Insurance Policy with a Club Marine Magazine subscription at the time of each Prize Draw who are eligible as set out above; and

(b) There is only one (1) entry per eligible Club Marine member.

3. Promotion period

The Promotion commences at 12:00am (AEDT) on Thursday 9 January 2025 and closes at 11:59 pm (AEDT) on Monday 12 January 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

4. Prize draw

A draw will be conducted quarterly over the course of the Promotion Period, with four (4) draws in total being conducted, refer to dates below. The winners of the four (4) draws will be randomly selected by a representative of the Promoter from a computer-generated listing of all eligible entries.

Each of the four (4) Prize Draws will comprise ten (10) winners.  

The Prize Draws will take place as follows:

(i) The first draw will take place on Tuesday April 8, 2025, at 11:00am (AEST) at Club Marine Limited, Level 26, 555 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000

(ii) The second draw will take place on Tuesday July 8, 2025, at 11:00am (AEST) at Club Marine Limited, Level 26, 555 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000

(iii) The third draw will take place on Tuesday October 7, 2025, at 11:00am (AEDT) at Club Marine Limited, Level 26, 555 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000

(iv) The fourth draw will take place on Tuesday January 13, 2026, at 11:00am (AEDT) at Club Marine Limited, Level 26, 555 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000

The Promoter reserves the right to conduct the draw at an alternative location in the event there is a change to the Promoter’s business address.

5. Prizes

1st Draw

Cashback on your annual Club Marine Pleasure Craft Insurance Policy premium equal to the value of your annual policy, (up to a maximum of $500), for a total of one (1) policy, per winner. For the avoidance of all doubt, the Prize will be the lesser of the value of your annual premium or $500 (Cashback Amount).

Ten (10) lucky eligible entrants will be drawn to win a Prize. The Cashback Amount will be directly transferred to each winner’s nominated bank account within 30 days of receipt of the nominated winner’s bank account details. The Prize is not transferable to another person and cannot be exchanged for other goods or services.

2nd Draw

Cashback on your annual Club Marine Pleasure Craft Insurance Policy premium equal to the value of your annual policy, (up to a maximum of $500), for a total of one (1) policy, per winner. 4th Draw

Ten (10) lucky eligible entrants will be drawn to win a Prize. 6. Prize value

The total maximum value of the Prizes to be awarded during the Promotion Period is valued at AU$20,000 (up to $500 for each selected policy holder, on one (1) policy). Values are accurate as at the date of publication of these Terms and Conditions. Prize specifications are subject to change at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. All Prizes include GST.

7. Notification

The Prize winners for each draw will be notified in writing and by telephone of their win and how to claim the prize by; (1st draw) by Wednesday April 9, 2025 by 5:00pm (AEST), (2nd draw) by Wednesday July 9, 2025 by 5:00pm (AEST), (3rd draw) by Wednesday October 8, 2025 by 5:00pm (AEDT), and (4th draw) by Wednesday January 14, 2026 by 5:00pm (AEST).

The Prize winners' details (last name, first initial, state and postcode) will be published on the Club Marine website from the date of Prize notification until Friday, February 14 (or until Thursday, May 15 if there are any unclaimed Prizes).

8. Unclaimed prizes

If any Prizes remain unclaimed after three (3) months from the final draw date (by Tuesday April 15, 2026, 11:00am (AEDT), another entry will be drawn at Club Marine Limited, Level 26, 555 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000. The Prize winner/s will be published  on the Club Marine website for 30 days from the redraw date.

If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a Prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.

9. Permissible by law

To the fullest extent permissible by law, each entrant in the Promotion including without limitation the Prize winner, release the Promoter from any claim, loss, damage, expense (including any claim for legal expenses), cost or charge sustained or in any way incurred by such entrant in connection with the Prize or their participation in the Promotion. The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential, or economic loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition, or the use of any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorised intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to participants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
