Promotional Period Start Date: 06/10/2025 at 5:30am AEDT
End Date: 10/10/2025 at 11:00am AEDT
Eligible entrants Permanent residents of Australia who are not ineligible to enter the Promotion under
clause 2 of the Terms and Conditions and who are able to join the Today show via
Zoom on 15/10/2025 (Entrants).
Entry Method To enter, Entrants must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:
1. Visit website and follow the prompts to the promotion entry
page;
2. Input the requested details;
3. Provide an answer in 25 words or less to the promotional question,
“Why do you
deserve to be one of our five finalists?”;
4. Select their preferred Today host from the drop-down list to play the Game
(defined below) on their behalf (“Host”); and
5. Submit the fully completed entry form.
Maximum Entries: Only one (1) entry is permitted per Entrant during the Promotional Period.
Winner
Determination
Game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
Entries will be divided into five (5) groups depending on the Host selected at the
time of entry. Judging for each group will take place by the Promoter at 1
Denison Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 on 9:00am AEDT on 13/10/2025. The
Promoter reserves the right to select additional reserve entries that it determines
to be the next best, and record them in order of merit, in case of an invalid entry
or ineligible Entrant.
The best valid entry from each group, as determined by the Promoter, will be
paired with their preferred Host for the Game and will be referred to as a
“Participant” for the purpose of the Game. The Participant selected from each
group will be the Entrant who has most creatively answered the promotional
question.
In the unlikely event that no entrants select one or more of the Hosts at the time
of entry, the relevant Host’s/Hosts’ performance in the Game will be disregarded.
Game The Game will take place during the Today show on 15/10/2025.
As part of the Game, Participants will be paired with the Host they selected at the
time of entering into the promotion. That Host will represent the Participant and
race on their behalf in a virtual race car game set at the Today show studio. The
Host who crosses the finish line for the race first will win their Participant the Major
Prize (defined below). The four (4) remaining Hosts will each win their Participants
the Minor Prize (defined below).
Number of Winners Five (5) winners, including one (1) Major Prize winner and four (4) Minor Prize
winners.
Winner Notification Participants will be notified by phone. Winners of the Major and Minor Prizes will be
notified immediately following the Game on the Today show.
Prizes The “Major Prize” includes:
$10,000 in the form of an electronic funds transfer to the winner’s nominated
Australian bank account in their name; and

Shell Motorsport Collection kit including eight (8) cards in a limited edition
collectors tin valued at $149.
Each “Minor Prize” includes:

$1,000 Shell gift card; and
●
Shell Motorsport Collection kit including eight (8) cards in a limited
edition collectors tin valued at $149.

Special
Conditions
The Shell gift cards will be sent to Minor Prize winners by email or mail depending
on the winner’s preferred method. The Shell gift cards cannot be redeemed /
exchanged for cash or payment of credit or store accounts. Lost or stolen Shell gift
cards will not be replaced or refunded. The Shell gift cards are redeemable at Shell
Reddy Express outlets only. Only digital Shell gift cards can be redeemed at Shell
OTR sites. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Shell gift cards expire four (4) years from the date of issue.
