Terms and Conditions

These official rules (“Rules“) apply to the Blunder Road Shopping Village competition (“Promotion”). Blunder Road Shopping Village (BRSV / “Promoter”) is a shopping centre. The promoter’s address is 146 Blunder Road, Oxley, and their contact email address is info@blunderroadshoppingvillage.com.au.
Information on how to enter forms part of these Rules. The Promoter may, at any time, amend, add to or delete any of these Rules.

By entering, participants accept these Rules and any subsequent changes made by the Promoter, even if those changes are published after entry.

The Promotion commences at 6am on Monday 17 November, 2025 and ends at 5pm on Monday 22 December, 2025 or when prizes have been exhausted if happens earlier (“Promotion Period”).

To be eligible to enter the Promotion (and to be a “Participant”) an individual must be a Queensland resident aged 18 or over and must make an Eligible Transaction.
Eligible Transaction

An “Eligible Transaction” is a purchase from a Participating Store made during the Promotion Period:
of any goods or services, but these must NOT be:
Tobacco Products; or
Gaming Products; or
Gift Cards; or
Goods purchased pursuant to a prescription; or
Deposits into banks, building societies or other financial institutions or payments on account of insurances and the like; or
Telephone, internet or mobile phone calling cards or credit cards; or
Payments for services (e.g., telephone), and
Products that have been returned for a refund,
which is valued at:
$20 or more where the Participating Store is one of these stores: African Grocery & Injera Bakery; The Muoi Bakery; Blunder Coffee; Blunder Road Country Markets; Blunder Rd News; Brisbane Fish Market; The Curry Castle; Hanno’s Country Butchery; Laundro Near Me; Mukkomi Sushi; Oven Fresh Bakery & Café; Oxley Discount Variety Store; Oxley Kebab Shop; Sharp Cut Barbers / Beauty Babes.
A purchase of an item on lay-by will be deemed to be one Eligible Transaction only upon completion of the lay-by, if the purchase otherwise would qualify as an Eligible Transaction. To remove any doubt, the final lay-by instalment payment must be made during the Promotion Period.
A “Tobacco Product” includes:
tobacco (in any form); or
any product (for example a cigar or cigarette):
that contains tobacco as its main or a substantial ingredient; and
that is designed or intended for human consumption or use; and
that is not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods maintained under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth); or
a cigarette paper, cigarette roller or
A “Gaming Product” includes:
a lottery ticket under the Lotteries Act 1997 (Qld);
a ticket in a game of lucky envelopes or a promotional game that is scratched to reveal numbers, letters or symbols that may entitle the player of that game to a prize; or
a voucher or other acknowledgement for playing:
a game under the Casino Control Act 1982 (Qld);
a gaming machine under the Gaming Machine Act 1991 (Qld); or
an approved keno game under the Keno Act 1996 (Qld);
a ticket or other acknowledgement for a bet under the Wagering Act 1998 (Qld).
A “Gift Card” is a card that is exchangeable for goods and services from a Participating Store.
A “Participating Store” refers all retailers in the Village who are participating in the Promotion, as listed in point 6 above.
An Eligible Transaction must be evidenced by an original official receipt from a Participating Store that is clearly marked with the date of purchase, the amount of the purchase and the store or business trading name (“Valid Receipt”).
The Promoter’s officeholders, employees, agents, contractors, and their Immediate Family Members are not eligible to enter the Promotion. An “Immediate Family Member” means any spouse, child, defacto or any other family member residing at the same premises as that
An individual may enter the Promotion as many times as they wish, provided these Rules are complied with.
Entry

Subject to availability (while stocks last), a Participant will be entitled to one entry for each Eligible Transaction that exceeds $20.
To use their Prize, a Participant must present a winning Scratch Card to the store shown on the winning card, for use during their next transaction or within the ‘valid until’ period shown on the card.
By accepting and redeeming a Prize a Participant agrees to these terms and
The Promoter and/or a Participating Store has the right to refuse to accept a winning Scratch Card and to provide a prize if:
they believe that an individual who is presenting a winning Scratch Card was not the individual who entered into the Eligible Transaction; or
they believe that an individual who is presenting a Winning Scratch Card has already obtained the prize for the same Eligible Transaction.
Prizes

There are 280 instant prizes with a prize pool of $2,600 and a further 100 discounts of 30% for laundry services valued at $100. Any unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.  Total Prize Pool is $2,700.
A maximum of 380 Prizes are available through the Promotion
No representations of availability are given by the Promoter and/or Participating Retailers that a Prize will be available to be claimed if an Eligible Transaction is made as this will depend on if the maximum number of Gifts has already been claimed or not.
If the Prize is unavailable, due to circumstances outside its control, then the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute that Prize with a similar Prize of equal value.
The Promoter does not warrant the acceptable quality, suitability and/or fitness for purpose of the Prize.
Prize must be used in one transaction; it is not transferable; it cannot be exchanged for cash; change will not be given if your spend amount in store is less than the voucher value, the value difference will be forfeited.
Prize is valid until the date shown on the winning scratch card under the dollar amount – 22 February, 2026.
Each participating retailer can determine how and when the prize is used. Prize is not to be used in conjunction with other promotional offers. Certain stores have additional conditions for this voucher – please consult with the relevant retailer.
