TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By entering the Weekend Sunrise x Princess Cruises Alaskan Holiday Competition (“Competition”), you
agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject  to clause 2.2, 2.4 and 2.5, entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and
older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited
(“Promoter”), Carnival plc trading as Princess Cruises (“Sponsor”) and their associated
agencies and companies and any prize suppliers are not eligible to enter.
In clause 2.2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto
spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling living in the same residence.
To be eligible to enter, entrants must be able to travel, at their own expense, to Vancouver,
Canada on 9 May 2026 until 19 May 2026. If the Winner is unable to do so, they will be deemed
invalid and forfeit all rights to the Prize.
Be available to answer a Zoom or Facetime call from Weekend Sunrise on Saturday 20th
December 2025 between 5:30am and 9:00am AEDT.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 3.2 3.3 3.4 The competition commences on Saturday 6th December 2025 at 5:30am AEDT and concludes
on Friday 19th December 2025 at 12:00pm AEDT (the “Competition Period”).
In order to enter, viewers must:
• Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and
postcode), email address, and mobile phone number on the Competition page
[Sunrise.com.au]; and
• Submit an answer to the competition question, “Tell us in 25 words or less, what would you
LOVE to experience on an Alaskan Land & Sea Holiday with Princess?”
• Tick the check box, confirming they are available to complete the Prize travel to Vancouver,
Canada on 9th May 2026 until 19th May 2026.
• Tick the check box, confirming they are available to answer a Zoom or Facetime call from
Weekend Sunrise on Saturday 20th December 2025 between 5:30am and 9:00am AEDT.
Entries must be received by Friday 19th December 2025 at 12:00pm AEDT.
Entrants may enter as many times as they like throughout the competition period.
3.5 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
3.6 3.7 3.8 3.9 (b) written in English; and
(c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by
other parties.
Entry details including all submissions made remain the property of the Promoter and will not
be returned to the entrant. The Winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual, irrevocable
and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the Winner will not
be entitled to any fee for such use.
Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be
offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to
infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity,
will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s
sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for any data or other information related to
this Competition that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or
hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software
problems will be rectified as quickly as possible.
Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the
entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the
validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, validity of driver’s license
and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors
and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to
enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. PRIZES

The total prize pool is valued at up to $10,000.00 AUD (including GST). The Promoter or
Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative prize, including cash.
This prize has no official resale value and may not be authentic if purchased from a third party.
Prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, used for advertising, promoting or other
commercial purposes without the written consent of The Seven Network.
In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all
editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed
and photographed. The winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to
use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled
to any fee for such use.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the
right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal value and/or
specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise
from the prize winning, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance
of the Prize and the Promotor and Sponsor accept no liability for any tax implications that may
arise from claiming the Prize.
Winners should seek advice on obtaining any valid insurance that may be required in relation
to the Prize.
The Prize value is in Australian dollars.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner(s) (and any companions) may be
required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute
discretion.

The Cruise portion of the prize is subject to any and all terms and conditions provided by the

The Winner and their companion must attend the departing port of Vancouver, Canada on the
departure date Saturday 9th May 2026.
A valid credit card must be presented at cruise check in for incidentals. Tickets are non-
transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-
transferable. Any alterations to confirmed accommodation details will be at the expense of the
winner. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be
split across different time periods. Any changes by the winner made to the specified prize

administration fee which must be settled in full prior to booking confirmation.
It is each traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure they have valid documentation, including
but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and
other government authorities at every destination. Any necessary visas, vaccinations,
passports, and any associated costs are the responsibility of the Winner and their travelling
companion. Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditures incurred as a result of such
documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of
the traveller/s.
The prize does not include and neither the Sponsor or Promoter are responsible for any
transport, travel, accommodation or other related expenses that could be incurred for the
Winner to attend any aspect of the prize. Any and all transport travel, flight and accommodation
expenses are the responsibility of the Winner.
Prize cannot be split. The Winner and their companions must complete the Prize together.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating Prize provider(s), if for any reason a
Winner does not, once the Prize has been booked, take the Prize (or an element of the Prize)
at the time stipulated, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited and will
not be redeemable for cash.
Travel insurance, airport transfers or pre and post accommodation are not included in the prize.
International cabotage laws may prohibit guests from embarking or disembarking their voyage in
any port except the main scheduled embarkation and disembarkation ports. Only those guests
with a medical emergency may be allowed to embark or disembark the vessel at an unscheduled
embark / disembark port. If an unscheduled embarkation or disembarkation is permitted
because of an emergency, those guests may incur additional charges intended to cover any fine
or penalty levied against Princess and any other additional costs. Such additional costs will be
added to the guests’ onboard account prior to disembarking.
The Prize must be taken as is. Changes to the cabin type or number of guests are not permitted.
Upgrades, guest additions or changes to the itinerary are not permitted (even if the winner
offers to pay the difference).
Itineraries are not guaranteed and onboard offerings are subject to change.
Standard terms and conditions of travelling with Sponsor will apply, including any applicable age
restrictions. See Carnival plc trading as Princess Cruises’ Passage Contract at Legal - Passage
Contract - Princess Cruises which passengers will be bound by.
The Prize is subject to booking availability. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable,
Sponsor, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize)
with a prize to substantially equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions
from a regulatory authority.
The winner must provide valid identification to Sponsor. The winner must be over the age of
18 years (subject to applicable age restrictions). Alcohol consumption and gambling onboard
are restricted to passengers aged 18 years of age or older. A credit card imprint or cash
deposit will be required from the winner and/or accompanying guests at check-in in order to
board the cruise ship, for all incidental charges.
The Winner and their companions are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports,
and any requisite visas, ESTAs, vaccinations and travel documentation that they require.

The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for the cancellation, delay or rescheduling of
any part of the Prize and any costs incurred by the Winner or any travelling companion(s) as a
result (including accommodation costs) will be the responsibility of the Winner.
Once confirmed in writing, change of dates may require extra fees. The Promoter and the
Sponsor do not accept responsibility for any fees incurred as a result of any changes made and
these fees/costs will be borne by the Winner and their relevant companion(s).
The Promoter, the Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies or any organisation
or individual associated with the provision of the Prize(s) make no representation as to the
destination, including any safety conditions, travel restrictions, warnings, bans or other issues
that may exist at any destination.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence
regarding the Competition result.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of
use of the Prize and the Sponsor’s requirements.
Personal information about the Prize Winner will be shared with the Sponsor, and their agents,
to the extent necessary for the Prize to be fulfilled to the Winner.
The Prize will be awarded to the person named in their contestant entry. Should an entrant’s
contact details change during the Competition Period it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify
the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be
directed to the Promoter.
The Winner agrees that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or
photographs to any media or other organization other than the Promoter.
Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these
terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.
Winner and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this promotion is
not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or
any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to
cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize,
subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 5.2 5.3 There will be One (1) Prize Winner in total throughout the Competition Period. This is a game
of skill; chance plays no part in determining the Winners.
One (1) Prize Winner will be judged from all valid entries received (online) at the conclusion of
the competition. Judging will commence at 12.30pm (AEDT) on Friday, 19th December 2025 at
Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015.
The entrant who is deemed the worthiest and submitted the most genuine entry as judged by
a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter will be awarded as the Prize Winner.
5.4 5.5 5.6 5.7 5.8 5.9 5.10 The Winner will be notified by email or by phone within two (2) business days of the prize
judging. All winners will be published on www.sunrise.com.au within two (2) business days.
The winner will be announced during broadcast of Weekend Sunrise on Seven Network, on
Saturday 20th December 2025.
The Winner must claim their prize by 12:00pm AEDT on Wednesday 18th March 2026. If the
Prize is not claimed by that time, an unclaimed prize judging will be held on Wednesday 18th
March 2026 from 12:30pm (AEDT) at Seven Network Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh
NSW 2015. The winner will be notified by email or by phone within two (2) working days of the
unclaimed prize judging. The new winner will be published on www.sunrise.com.au from
Friday 20th March 2026.
The judges’ decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding
the result.
Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winners must comply with all the
conditions of use of the Prize requirements. Prizes are subject to the Sponsor Terms and
Conditions.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winners may be required to sign a legal
release in a form determined by the Promoter in their absolute discretion.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 6.2 6.3 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or
significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and
in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to
vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war,
pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its
absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances
beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the
Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Carnival plc trading as Princess Cruises and their
associated agencies and companies will not take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost
in transit, or late, lost, or misdirected mail.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Carnival plc trading as Princess Cruises and their
associated agencies and companies, to the extent permitted by law, will not be liable for any
misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim
that may occur:
• during the judging;
• whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
• in the participation in any Prize;
• because of late, lost or misdirected mail;

of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member,
journalist, other entrants or any other person;
• in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion; and
• arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer
equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other
person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Sponsor (including its respective
officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity);
whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: a) any technical
difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Sponsor’s control); b) any
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; c) any entry or prize claim that is late,
lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Sponsor) due
to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor; d) any variation in prize value to
that stated in these Terms and Conditions; e) if the cruise is delayed, postponed or cancelled
for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor; f) any tax liability incurred by a
winner or Entrant; or g) use of and/or taking of the prize.
If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes
including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or
any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the
administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with
the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at
its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or
production requirements.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the
Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any
unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct
of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation
from such an offender are reserved.
Seven Network (Operations) Limited assume no responsibility for any error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure,
theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right
to take any action that may be available.
If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any
other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the

take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
competition.
By entering the Competition, and by collecting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges and
accepts that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the Prize, are inherently
dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses.
Neither the Promoter nor Sponsor are responsible for any acts of God, such as adverse
weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst a Winner is
travelling. It is the responsibility of each Winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations prior to travel.
