Step into 2029 in the new Timur Bekmambetov directed sci-fi thriller MERCY. Written by Marco van Belle and produced by Charles Roven and Bekmambetov, MERCY shows the integration of AI in the judicial system, where time is of the essence, and execution is the cost.

In the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate.

Starring Chris Pratt, Rebecca Ferguson, Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers, MERCY will have you hooked until the last second.

To celebrate the film’s Australian release in cinemas on Thursday 22 January 2026, we’ve teamed up with Sony Pictures Releasing to give 10 x Forte Readers the chance to see MERCY in cinemas with a friend.

We have 10 x double in-season passes up for grabs. These passes will be valid for use from January 22 ( by 2 people at the same session) at participating cinemas screening the film nationally and for the duration of the film’s season.
