*RV product definition: For the purposes of this promotion, “RV” includes camper trailers,
hybrid campers, pop top caravans, caravans, slide on, campervans, and motorhomes
Promotion
Period:
The Promotion opens at 9:00am (AEST) on Friday 6th February 2026 and closes at 4:00pm
(AEST) on Sunday, 8th February 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.
Who can enter: Entry is open only to show attendees/visitors who are over the age of 18 years.
How to enter: 1. Purchase an eligible RV product onsite during the conduct of the 2026 Let’s Go Gold
Coast Caravan & RV Expo at the People First Stadium.
2. At the time of purchase /signing of the contract, make sure to scan the competition
entry QR code with the Show Exhibitor/Dealer (each Show Exhibitor/Dealer will have a
copy of the QR code at their stand.
3. Complete the entry form in full and submit your details.
4. Proof of RV product purchase will be confirmed with the relevant Show Exhibitor/Dealer.
Prize: $5000.00 towards the cost of an eligible RV product purchased at the 2026 Let’s Go Gold
Coast Caravan & RV Expo. There will be one $5000 draw for each show day (three in total).
Draw Date: The promotion/prize draws will take place at 11.30am on Saturday 7th February, Sunday 8th
February & Monday 9th February at the Event Office, People First Stadium. Each draw will be
made using a random draw method with the winning entry being the first validated and
confirmed entry drawn. Competition entrants do not have to be present at the time of draw.
Notification
Means:
Each daily prize winner will be notified by phone, and follow up email, no later than 5pm on
the day of the draw, using the contact details provided on the submitted entry form.
Delivery of Prize: Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Queensland (CTIAQ) will make the $5000 prize
payment directly to the selling dealer prior to handover of the purchased RV. No cash will be
paid directly to the entrant, and no cash will be paid to the dealer outside of the agreed prize
amount. The prize is not transferable for cash or exchangeable. If the purchase contract does
not proceed to settlement, is cancelled, or otherwise falls over for any reason, the prize
entitlement will be deemed null and void. CTIAQ reserves the right to withdraw the prize
without liability if eligibility is not maintained. CTIAQ will require proof of a zero-balance
contract from the participating dealer once transaction is complete.

Obligations
CTIAQ agrees to the following:
• Promotion of the competition via various mediums leading into and during the event
period.
• Supply each relevant exhibitor of RV products at the 2026 Let’s Go Gold Coast
Caravan & RV Expo with signage promoting the competition.
• Supply a laminated, poster contacting instructions on how to enter and the QR for
entrants to scan.
Dealer
Obligations
It is the responsibility/obligation of participating Show Exhibitor/Dealers at the 2026 Let’s Go
Gold Coast Caravan & RV Expo to:
• Make available to all RV purchasers, at the time of signing a Sales Contract at the
2026 Let’s Go Gold Coast Caravan & RV Expo, the Promotions QR code which will
enable the purchaser to submit an entry at the time of purchase for the chance to win
$5000 towards their RV purchase.
• Show Exhibitor/Dealer – After each random daily draw the Promoter (CTIAQ) will
make contact with the Show Exhibitor/Dealer to validate that a RV product Sales
Contract has been signed by the entrant. When the Show Exhibitor/Dealer approves
this detail the prize winner can be confirmed.
*Where a participating dealer fails to confirm entrant details in the manner outlined above,
the entrant may be deemed ineligible for inclusion in the daily prize draw. Caravan Trade &
Industries Association of Queensland cannot be held liable in any way for entrant details not
being submitted by the Show Exhibitor/Dealer.
Consent to
Promotion &
Publication
By entering this promotion, entrants agree that CTIAQ T/as Caravanning Queensland may use
photographs, video or audio recordings of the prize draw, winner announcement and related
promotional activities for marketing purposes, including publication through social media
channels, CTIAQ website www.caravanqld.com.au and/or Facebook page
/CaravanningQueensland once settlement of the Sales Contract for the RV product has taken
place.

Competition Terms and Conditions continued
(a) To be eligible to enter the Promotion, you must fall within the criteria in the ‘Who can enter’ section
of the Promotion Details Table. You must follow the requirements in the ‘How to enter’ section of
the Promotion Details Table and submit any entry into the Promotion during the Promotion Period.
Entries submitted after the Promotion Period has closed will not be accepted.
(b) The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late entries or for any technical difficulties experienced
by you.
(c) It is your sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in your entry,
including your contact details. Incorrect or incomplete entries may be disregarded by the
Promoter.
(d) Your entry must not include any content that contravenes any law, infringes the rights of any
person (including intellectual property rights), or could be considered to be insulting,
inflammatory, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate.
(e) By submitting your entry, you agree that your entry becomes the property of the Promoter and you
agree that the Promoter may exploit all intellectual property rights in your entry and do anything to
your entry which may otherwise be an infringement of your moral rights.
(f) The winners of the Promotion will be drawn at random by the Promoter on the Draw Date. Delivery
of the Prizes will occur per the details in the ‘Delivery of Prizes’ section of the Promotion Details
Table. Where a Prize cannot be delivered in accordance with these terms and conditions within 3
months of the Draw Date (for example, due to an error in the address details for the winning entry),
the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the winner for the relevant Prize in accordance with the
methods contained in these terms and conditions.
(g) In no event will the Promoter be liable for any claims, damages, or losses of any kind, including
direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with
your entrance to this Promotion. To the maximum extent permitted at law, the Promotion and the
prizes are provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind, either express or implied,
including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
or non-infringement.
(h) You indemnify the Promoter from any and all claims, losses, or liabilities which the Promoter may
incur in the course of or connection with your entrance and participation in the Promotion.
(i) If a provision of these terms and conditions is illegal, invalid, unenforceable, or void, it is severed
and the remainder of these terms and conditions has full force and effect and the validity or
enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction is not affected. This clause has no effect if
the severance alters the basic nature of these terms and conditions or is contrary to public policy.
(j) You agree that your rights and obligations under this Promotion will be construed, take effect in
accordance with and be governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and you
expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Queensland, Australia and of all
courts competent to hear appeals from them.
Collection Notification Statement under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
As part of your entry to this Promotion, you agree to your personal information being collected by the
Promoter and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (which is available from
www.caravanqld.com.au or on request from the Promoter) and the following Privacy Collection
Notification Statement:
(a) the Promoter is the party collecting the information in this form. You can contact us at [insert
contact email address] or write to us at PO Box 880, Lutwyche, QLD 4030;
(b) the Promoter may use the details it collects from you, including any email address you give to us in
relation to your participation in the Promotion:
(1) for your entry into the Promotion;
(2) for any promotional and publicity purposes; and
(3) unless you notify us otherwise, to send you information and direct marketing
communications about our products, services, events, offers or any other activities (including
third party products, services, offers and events) which we consider may be of interest to you,
and any other purpose described in our Privacy Policy;
(c) some of the information we ask you to provide may be identified as mandatory or voluntary. If you
do not comply with the conditions contained in the ‘How to enter’ section of the Promotion Details
Table or the information you provide is incorrect or incomplete then:
(1) we may not be able to accept your Promotion entry, your entry may be disqualified, you will
not be able to enter the Promotion, or we may be unable to deliver your prize if you are a
winner; and
(2) we will be unable to send you direct marketing communications (unless you have consented
to such communications through other dealings with us);
(d) we may disclose the information provided by you in relation to this Promotion under this form to
third parties that are related to, or affiliated with, the Promoter, such as any organisation as
expressly covered in our Privacy Policy;
(e) unless you notify us otherwise, we may also disclose the information provided by you in relation to
this Promotion to members of the Promoter and prize sponsors, so that they may send you direct
marketing communications about products, services, events, offers or any other activities
(including third party products, services, offers and events) which they consider may be of interest
to you;
(f) the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (detailed above) also sets out the process as to how you can access
and correct any of your personal information collected in relation to the Promotion as well as to
how you can make a complaint in relation to the Promoter’s handling of your personal information;
(g) in order to manage and facilitate the Promotion and for the purposes in paragraph (b), it is possible
that some of the information collected may be disclosed outside of Australia including to our IT
service providers who may utilise data hosting facilities. You consent to your information being
disclosed to a destination outside Australia for this purpose, and you understand and
acknowledge that Australian Privacy Principle 8.1 will not apply to such disclosures of your
personal information.
By continuing with your entry into the Promotion, you indicate that you have read this collection
statement and acknowledge that your personal information will be collected, used and disclosed in
accordance with this collection notice and as otherwise detailed in our Privacy Policy and, to the extent it
