TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

By entering the Sunrise x Viking Southeast Asia & Hong Kong Cruise Competition agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2 and 2.4, entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and
older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited
(“Promoter”), Viking River Cruises Australia Pty. Ltd. (“Sponsor”) and their associated agencies
and companies and any prize suppliers are not eligible to enter.
In clause 2.2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto
spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling living in the same residence.
To be eligible to enter, entrants must be able to travel to Hong Kong, China on Friday 30th
October 2026 and return on Friday 13th November 2026. If the Winner is unable to do so, they
will be deemed invalid and forfeit all rights to the Prize.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 3.2 3.3 3.4 3.5 3.6 The competition commences on Friday 30th January 2026 at 5:30am AEDT and concludes on
Thursday 5th February 2026 at 12:00pm AEDT (the “Competition Period”).
In order to enter, viewers must:
• Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and
postcode), email address, and mobile phone number on the Competition page
[Sunrise.com.au]; and
• Tick the check box, confirming they are available to complete the Prize travel to Hong Kong,
China on 30th October 2026 to 15th November 2026.
• Tick the check box, confirming they are available to answer a video call from Sunrise on
Friday 6th February 2026 between 5:30am and 9:00am AEDT.
Entrants can enter as many times as they like throughout the competition period.
Entries must be received by Thursday 5th February 2026 at 12:00pm AEDT.
Entry details including all submissions made remain the property of the Promoter and will not
be returned to the entrant. The Winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual, irrevocable
and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the Winner will not
be entitled to any fee for such use.
Neither the Promoters nor any prize suppliers are responsible for any data or other
information related to this competition that may be lost, damaged as a result of any
computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer /

If any entries are deemed at the Promoter’s final discretion to be made via “scripting”, those
entries will be deemed invalid and will not be accepted.
In the event that any element of the Prize outlined in clause 4.1 is cancelled, postponed or
becomes unavailable due to the actions or decisions of a prize supplier or any other third
party, that element of the Prize will not be redeemable for cash. The Promoter may, at its
discretion, substitute the affected element in accordance with clauses 4.25 and 4.38 and
subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the
entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the
validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, validity of driver’s license
and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors
and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to
enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. PRIZES

Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative prize, including cash.
In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all
editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed
and photographed. The winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to
use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled
to any fee for such use.
Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise
from the prize winning, and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance
of the Prize and the Promotor and Sponsor accept no liability for any tax implications that may
arise from claiming the Prize.
The Prize value is in Australian dollars.
If the winner cannot accept the prize as stated, it will be forfeited with no compensation.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner(s) (and any companions) may be
required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute
discretion.

The Cruise portion of the prize is subject to any and all terms and conditions provided by the
Sponsor, and all terms and conditions as listed here https://www.vikingcruises.com.au/legal
The flights portion of the Prize is valued at $2,500.00 AUD and all elements of this prize portion
are subject to the discretion of the sponsor. The flights are valid only with Viking’s “Southeast
Asia & Hong Kong” cruise departing Hong Kong on 30 October 2026 for 15 days/14 nights.
• Return economy flights booked by Viking on their choice of airline from selected Australian
gateway cities (ADL/BNE/CBR/CNS/DRW/HBA/LST/MEL/OOL/PER/SYD).
• Air form must be returned within 14 business days of request.
• Viking reserves the right to cap the airfare at AU$1,250 per person with the winner to pay
any difference above this amount.
• Both guests must fly together on the same booking.
• Valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from return date required.
• Names and dates of birth as per passport must be provided at reservation.
Unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions all other expenses related to the Prize
become the responsibility of the Winner and their nominated companion. All costs associated
with the Prize which are not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions to be included,
including but not limited to additional cost for food, beverage and transportation.
The Winner and their companion must attend the departing port of Hong Kong, China on the
departure date Friday 30th October 2026.
The prize is only valid between Friday 30th October 2026 and Friday 13th November 2026 and is
not able to be redeemed on any other dates. If the Winner and their companion cannot attend
the prize for the entire duration of the prize, they forfeit all rights to the prize.
4.15 4.16 4.17 4.18 4.19 4.20 4.21 4.22 4.23 4.24 4.25 4.26 A valid credit card must be presented at cruise check in for incidentals. Tickets are non-
transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-
transferable. Any alterations to confirmed accommodation details will be at the expense of the
winner. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be
split across different time periods. Any changes by the winner made to the specified prize
package (including travel extensions, additional guests, etc) will be subject to an
administration fee which must be settled in full prior to booking confirmation.
It is each traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure they have valid documentation, including
but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and
other government authorities at every destination. Any necessary visas, vaccinations any
mandatory travel requirements (including COVID-19 vaccinations), passports, and any
associated costs are the responsibility of the Winner and their travelling companion. Any fines,
penalties, payments, or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the
requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.
The prize does not include and neither the Sponsor or Promoter are responsible for any
transport, travel, accommodation or other related expenses that could be incurred for the
Winner to attend any aspect of the prize. The Winner and their companion are responsible for
their own passports, visas, travel insurance, airport transfers, additional nights or upgrades,
personal expenses (including meals or tips not included in the Cruise), any mandatory travel
requirements (including COVID-19 vaccinations), and costs for changes to tickets once they have
been issued.
Prize cannot be split. The Winner and their companions must complete the Prize together.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating Prize provider(s), if for any reason a
Winner does not, once the Prize has been booked, take the Prize (or an element of the Prize)
at the time stipulated, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited and will
not be redeemable for cash.
Travel insurance, airport transfers or pre and post accommodation are not included in the prize.
International cabotage laws may prohibit guests from embarking or disembarking their voyage in
any port except the main scheduled embarkation and disembarkation ports. Only those guests
with a medical emergency may be allowed to embark or disembark the vessel at an unscheduled
embark / disembark port. If an unscheduled embarkation or disembarkation is permitted
because of an emergency, those guests may incur additional charges intended to cover any fine
or penalty levied against Viking Cruises and any other additional costs. Such additional costs will
be added to the guests’ onboard account prior to disembarking.
The Prize must be taken as is. Changes to the cabin type or number of guests are not permitted.
Upgrades, guest additions or changes to the itinerary are not permitted (even if the winner
offers to pay the difference).
Itineraries are not guaranteed, and onboard offerings are subject to change.
Standard terms and conditions of travelling with Sponsor will apply, including any applicable age
restrictions. See Viking Cruises Passenger Ticket Contract at Viking Cruises Passenger Ticket
Contract which passengers will be bound by.
The Prize is subject to booking availability. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable,
Sponsor, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize)
with a prize to substantially equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions
from a regulatory authority.
The winner and their companion must provide valid identification to Sponsor. The winner and
their companion must be over the age of 18 years (subject to applicable age restrictions).
Alcohol consumption and gambling onboard are restricted to passengers aged 18 years of age

It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winners and their nominated companion must
comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize provider and the Promoter’s requirements.
Conditions of entry to venues and use of Prize are subject to the Prize provider’s Terms and
Conditions.
The Promoter and Sponsor are not responsible for the cancellation, delay or rescheduling of
any part of the Prize and any costs incurred by the Winner or any travelling companion(s) as a
result (including accommodation costs) will be the responsibility of the Winner.
Once confirmed in writing, change of dates may require extra fees. The Promoter and the
Sponsor do not accept responsibility for any fees incurred as a result of any changes made and
these fees/costs will be borne by the Winner and their relevant companion(s).
The Promoter, the Sponsor and their associated agencies and companies or any organisation
or individual associated with the provision of the Prize(s) make no representation as to the
destination, including any safety conditions, travel restrictions, warnings, bans or other issues
that may exist at any destination.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence
regarding the Competition result.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner and their companion must comply with
all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Sponsor’s requirements.
Personal information about the Prize Winner will be shared with the Sponsor, and their agents,
to the extent necessary for the Prize to be fulfilled to the Winner.
The Prize will be awarded to the person named in their contestant entry. Should an entrant’s
contact details change during the Competition Period it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify
the Promoter and up to the Promoter’s discretion whether they award the Prize. A request to
access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
The Winner agrees that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or
photographs to any media or other organization other than the Promoter.
Subject to state permit authority restrictions, the Promoter may reasonably amend these
terms and conditions, orally or in writing, in its absolute discretion.
Winner and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this promotion is
not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or
any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to
cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize,
subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 5.2 5.3 There will be One (1) Winner of the Competition who will be randomly drawn from all valid
entries. A valid entry consists of the completion of the entry form on Sunrise.com.au,
including (but not limited to) personal details. The draw will be held at Ansible Pty Ltd, 100
Chalmers Street Surry Hills NSW 2010 on: Thursday 5th February 2026 at 12:15 PM AEDT.
Ansible Pty Ltd and/or Seven Network (Operations) Limited will contact the Winners by email
and telephone/video call advising the Winners of their Prize within two (2) business days of
the prize draw.
The Winner’s first initial, last name and postal code will be published on the Sunrise website

In the event that the Winner is unable to be contacted before 10:00am AEST on Monday 6th
April 2026 and fails to claim the Prize (“Unclaimed Prize”), the Winner forfeits the Prize. The
Promoter will not provide any compensation to the Winner and will draw a new Winner. Ansible
Pty Ltd will conduct an Unclaimed Prize draw on 10:30am AEST on Monday 6th April 2026 and
advise the unclaimed Winner via phone call and email that they have won directly after the
unclaimed prize draw. The unclaimed Winner’s first initial, last name and postal code will be
published on the Sunrise website at https://7news.com.au/sunrise/win within two (2) business
days of the Unclaimed Prize draw.
The Winner may be video called and their name may be announced live on the Sunrise
program scheduled to be broadcast on the Seven Network between 05:30 AM AEDT to 09:00
AM AEDT on Friday 6th February 2026.
The Promoter’s decision on all matters related to any aspect of this promotion is final and the
Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a Winner/s
being notified or a Winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the Winner/s did
not enter the Competition in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. In these
circumstances, an additional draw will be conducted.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winners (and any companions) may be
required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute
discretion.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions
of use of the Prize requirements. Prize is subject to Sponsor’s Terms and Conditions.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 6.2 6.3 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or
significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and
in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to
vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war,
pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its
absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances
beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the
Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Viking Cruises Pty Ltd and their associated agencies
and companies will not take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late,
lost, or misdirected mail.
The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Viking Cruises Pty Ltd and their associated agencies
and companies, to the extent permitted by law, will not be liable for any misadventure,
accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
• during the entry process or the draw;
• whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
• in the participation in any Prize;
• because of late, lost or misdirected mail;
• due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication

journalist, other entrants or any other person;
• in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion; and
• arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer
equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other
person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes
including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or
any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the
administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
