From the elegance of Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Flowers to the soaring heroics of Coates’ Dam Busters March, every work is a crowd-pleaser. The passionate finale of Elgar’s Cello Concerto will be performed by 2025 Young Instrumentalist Prize (YIP) winner Patrick Phillips. Conducted by Douglas Boyd, this concert is full of music you know and love – with perhaps a surprise or two. Competition ends at 09:00 Monday 2 February 2026.
