Terms and Conditions
Game of Chance
A. General
The terms of this document, information on how to enter this Promotion, mechanics of entry and the Prize/s form part of the terms and conditions for entry into this Promotion (Conditions). Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions by each Entrant.
The Promotion commences at 09:00 am AEDT on 2 February 2026 and ends at 11:59 pm AEDT on 31 March 2026 (Promotion Period).
The Promoter is Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd (ACN 601 408 824) of registered address 275 Grey St, South Brisbane QLD 4101.
Entry is open to Australian residents (or any person that has a current Australian residential address) who are aged 18 years or over and who is a valid current Velocity Frequent Flyer member (or new Velocity Frequent Flyer member who joins during the Promotion Period) and a valid current Flybuys member (or new Flybuys member who joins during the Promotion Period) (Entrants). To be a valid Flybuys member the Flybuys member account must include the member’s full name, a valid email address and a valid contact phone number, current at time of the prize draw. To be a valid Velocity Frequent Flyer member the Velocity member account must be active at time of the prize draw. The Flybuys primary account holder details must match the details of the linked Velocity member.
Only Flybuys members who are the named Flybuys primary account holder will be eligible to win a prize. Individuals whose Flybuys membership card is linked to another Flybuys account as a ‘household member’ are eligible to enter the Promotion, however, the prize will be awarded to the individual who is the named Flybuys primary account holder, and not the individual who holds the linked account. If a non-primary account holder enters the Promotion, by entering the Promotion the non-primary account holder acknowledges that they have made the primary account holder aware of their entry and of these Conditions.
The directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of Flybuys or the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agencies associated with this Promotion are not eligible to enter this Promotion.
B. Entry
7. Entrants will be automatically entered into the Promotion when they do one or more of the following actions during the Promotion Period:
a. First ever link: Receive one (1) entry into the prize draw when you link your Flybuys account and Velocity account for the first time. For your first ever link entry to be eligible, your Flybuys account and Velocity account must remain linked until the end of the Promotion Period.
b. Manual Transfer: Receive two (2) entries into the prize draw for every 1,000 Flybuys points you manually transfer from your Flybuys account to your Velocity account, which converts to 500 Velocity points. For your entries for manual transfer to be eligible, your Flybuys account and Velocity account must remain linked until the end of the Promotion Period.
c. Auto Transfer: Turn on Auto Transfer (includes members who already have Auto Transfer turned on) and receive four (4) entries into the prize draw for every 1,000 Flybuys points you auto transfer from your Flybuys account to your Velocity account, which converts to 500 Velocity points. For your entries for auto transfer to be eligible, your Flybuys account and Velocity account must remain linked, and you must remain opted into Auto Transfer until the end of the Promotion Period.
8. The following additional criteria applies when transferring points from your Flybuys account to your Velocity account:
a. If you have linked your Velocity account to your Flybuys account, you can choose to manually transfer a minimum of 1,000 Flybuys points at a time to your Velocity account. Each time you transfer 1,000 Flybuys points to your Velocity account, it will convert to 500 Velocity Points in your Velocity account.
b. If you choose to opt into Auto Transfer, your entire existing Flybuys points balance (to the highest multiple of 1,000 Flybuys points) will be automatically transferred to your linked Velocity account, and every 1,000 Flybuys points you subsequently collect will be automatically converted to 500 Velocity Points in your Velocity account.
c. There is no limit to the amount of Flybuys points you can transfer to your Velocity account.
d. Only one Velocity account can be linked to a Flybuys account at any one time.
e. To turn on Auto Transfer, the full name and date of birth on your Flybuys account and linked Velocity account must match. You can de-link or manage your linked accounts at any time at: https://experience.flybuys.com.au/partners/velocity-frequent...
f. Visit flybuys.com.au/transfer to manually transfer your Flybuys points.
g. Alternatively, to turn on Auto Transfer, visit https://experience.flybuys.com.au/partners/velocity-frequent... and sign in to your Flybuys account then turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘On’. This selection will apply to all members under that specific Flybuys account. You can turn your Auto Transfer preference to ‘Off’ at any time and will still be able to manually transfer your Flybuys points to your Velocity account. Please allow up to 48 hours for Velocity Points to be credited to your linked Velocity account and for your Flybuys points balance to be updated. Once Flybuys points have been transferred to your Velocity account they cannot be transferred back to your Flybuys account.
h. Velocity membership Terms and Conditions apply once Flybuys points are transferred to your Velocity account.
i. Standard Flybuys Terms and Conditions apply to the collection and redemption of Flybuys points.
9. There is no limit of entries per person for the duration of the Promotion Period, provided the criteria detailed in Entry method above are met.
10. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter.
11. If Entrants enter into the Promotion but no longer wish to participate, they can email competition@velocityfrequentflyer.com to l be removed from the Promotion.
12. Any costs associated with entering the Promotion remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary.
13. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly (not including Auto Transfer) is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
14. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this Promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Facebook will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury, which is suffered or sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the Promotion (including taking/use of a Prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Entrant releases Facebook and its associated companies from all liabilities arising in respect of the Promotion. Any questions or comments regarding the Promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to Facebook.
15. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this Promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Instagram. Instagram will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury, which is suffered or sustained by an entrant, as a result of participating in the Promotion (including taking/use of a Prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
C. Drawing winners
16. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the Winner(s).
17. The draw will be conducted on 10/04/2026 at 10:00am AEST at Level 3/162 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Draw Date). All decisions of the Promoter are final, and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible Entrant is drawn.
18. The winner or winners (a Winner) will be notified in writing (via email) by the Promoter within seven (7) business days of the draw and their last name, first initial, and postcode will be published on www.velocityfrequentflyer.com on 21/04/2026.
19. If a Prize is not claimed within three (3) months of the draw, a redraw will occur. A draw for any unclaimed Prizes may take place on 10/07/2026 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
20. A new Winner will be notified in writing (via email) by the Promoter within seven (7) business days of the draw. The last name, first initial, and postcode of any new Winner will be published on www.velocityfrequentflyer.com on 21/07/2026.
21. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Conditions, the entry will be discarded, and the relevant Prize will be re-awarded in accordance with the relevant clause of these Conditions as if the discarded entry had not been received.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to request that an Entrant or Winner provides proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a Prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a Winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
D. Prize
23. There are 100 prizes to be won. The first 50 valid entries drawn will each win a Major Prize consisting of a domestic return economy flight (Fare Class X) with Virgin Australia for two passengers (subject to the additional terms in clauses 29 to 41 below).The next 50 valid entries drawn will each win a Minor Prize consisting of 10,000 bonus Velocity Points and 10,000 bonus Flybuys points. The Prize will be awarded to the person named as the primary account holder on the Flybuys account in the entry.
24. Maximum total Prize value is up to AUD$346,800.00 (including GST). The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by the Promoter. The Prizes are not substitutable, exchangeable, transferrable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stated.
25. There are 100 prizes in total to be won during the Promotion Period:
a. 50 Major Prizes and 50 Minor Prizes. Each Major Prize consists of a domestic return economy flight (Fare Class X) for two passengers (subject to the additional terms in clauses 29 to 41 below) with a maximum total value for all Major Prizes totalling $334,000 AUD (each prize has a maximum value of $6,680 AUD for a domestic return flight for two).
b. Each Minor Prize consists of 10,000 Flybuys points valued at up to $50 and 10,000 Velocity Points valued at up to $206 AUD.
c. The 10,000 Velocity Points may be redeemed for goods and services with an approximate value of $206. Velocity Points will be allocated to the Winner’s Velocity membership account only. Value is based on a sample of the Velocity Points options that could be obtained by redeeming the Prize through the Velocity program at the time of this promotion. The estimate of value is provided for the purposes of licensing this promotion only – the value of the Velocity Points will vary depending on how and when they are redeemed by the Winner through the Velocity Points program.
26. If any Prize (or part of any Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
27. During the entire duration of the Prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.
28. Flybuys Points and Velocity Points prizes will be credited to your respective account within 30 days of the end of the Promotion Period.

31. Flights are subject to Virgin Australia’s Conditions of Carriage, and other relevant policies, which are located on the Virgin Australia website at www.virginaustralia.com.
32. The Prize flights are subject to Virgin Australia’s economy class Fare Class X rules which can be found here.
33. Winners will receive an email from the Promoter with instructions on the steps to redeem their flights.
34. Virgin Australia flights are subject to booking and flight availability.
35. If for any reason the Winner is unable to take the flight and is not entitled to a refund or credit under the relevant fare rules or the Australian Consumer Law, that portion of the Prize will be forfeited.
36. The Prize flights will not earn Velocity Points and cannot be upgraded.
37. It is a Winner’s responsibility to ensure that they have requisite visas, vaccinations, valid documentation (including but not limited to valid passports and visas) which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the Winner.
38. A Winner is responsible for all other expenses including accommodation, spending money, meals, drinks, transfers, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes, energy surcharges, gratuities, service charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
39. The Promoter and Flybuys makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination or as part of the Prize.
40. Prize flights must be taken within 12 months of the send date of the email notifying the Winner they are a Major Prize recipient. The expiry date will be stated in the email and cannot be extended. Your outbound flight must depart prior to the expiry date of the Prize.
41. All bookings are subject to availability and blackout periods which include: Easter, Anzac Day, Christmas and New Year public holidays apply. All blackout periods applicable are noted below:
a. 02 April 2026 to 27 April 2026
b. 25 June 2026 to 20 July 2026
c. 18 September 2026 to 12 October 2026
d. 18 December 2026 to 11 January 2027
42. Each Major Prize includes two (2) persons travelling together on the same booking. The flights are non-redeemable for cash or any other prize. Tickets redeemed under this Prize are valid for Virgin Australia operated flights only and not code share services. Tickets are non-transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed after tickets are issued).
43. Tickets may not be sold or offered for resale (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original recipient or any subsequent bearer. If a Ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, it will be cancelled at Virgin Australia’s sole discretion.
44. Subject to the unclaimed Prize draw clause, if for any reason the Winner does not redeem the Prize (or an element of the Prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited.

E. Privacy
46. By entering this Promotion, Entrants agree to be contacted in relation to this Promotion by the Promoter. Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter.
47. The Promoter and Loyalty Pacific Pty Ltd (Flybuys) are collecting your personal information for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including providing any Prize to you, and may disclose your personal information to and/or collect your personal information from each other for this purpose only. If the Promoter and Flybuys cannot collect your personal information, we will not be able to enter you in the Promotion or provide you with a Prize. The Promoter may also disclose your personal information to and/or collect your personal information from its related companies (including Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd and Velocity Rewards Pty Ltd) and third parties who provide (or help the Promoter provide) products and services. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to persons or organisations located in overseas countries, as described in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (www.virginaustralia.com/privacy). The Promoter’s Privacy Policy also states how you can seek to access or correct your personal information and how to make a privacy complaint. You can contact the Virgin Australia Privacy Officer in at privacy@virginaustralia.com. Flybuys uses and manages personal information in accordance with its privacy policy at www.flybuys.com.au/about/#/privacy-policy. With respect to personal information disclosed to Flybuys by the Promoter as part of the Promotion, Flybuys will only use and disclose this information for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including providing any Prize to you, or as required by law. 48. You consent to the Promoter using your personal information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding the Promoter’s products and services, including contacting the Entrant via SMS and email messages (and you consent to receiving such messages from the Promoter). Information on how to opt-out from these messages is set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
49. Entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and Winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
50. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information that Flybuys holds about Entrants should be directed to Flybuys.
