TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

4. Promotion Period Entry into the Promotion commences at 6:00am AEDT Monday 27 January 2026
Entry into the Promotion closes at 8:00am AEDT Friday 13 February 2026
5. Eligible State:  Victoria.
6. Age Restriction
Clause 2
Entrants and any companions (if applicable) must be 21 years of age or over.
7. Maximum Number
of Entries
Clause 3
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a
separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) Prize each
in the Promotion.
8. Entry Method

Entrants may enter the Promotion in either or both of the following ways:
Website Entry
During the Promotion Period, entrants must visit the Website, complete the online entry form, register
their details in the manner required and answer, in 25 words or less, the question:
“Why do you need to win your way on a Californian road trip?”
AND/OR
Nova Player App Entry
During the Promotion Period, entrants must download the Nova Player App, register their details,
complete the entry form for the Promotion under the ‘win’ tab in the manner required and answer, in
25 words or less, the question:
“Why do you need to win your way on a Californian road trip?”
AND/OR
Phone Entry
At various times during the Promotion Period:
(a) the Promoter will invite entrants to call 13 24 10 during a specified time period; and
(b) from the entrants who successfully call 13 24 10, those entrants will be asked to answer the
following question off-air:
“Why do you need to win your way on a Californian road trip?”
All valid Website, Nova Player App and Phone Entries received during the Promotion Period will be
individually judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the Judging Criteria.
Standby List Selection (On-Air)
(a) (b) (c) (d) Each day during the Promotion Period, representatives of the Promoter will review the
Website, Nova Player App and Phone Entries (in accordance with the Judging Criteria) and
will contact the entrant with the “best” daily entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the
Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) (Selected Entrant) on a personal contact number,
either a personal mobile number or home phone number (and not a business number)
(Personal Contact Number);
If the Selected Entrant successfully answers their Personal Contact Number within five (5) rings
or by the time it goes to voicemail (the earlier of) (as determined by the Promoter in its sole
and absolute discretion), they will be invited to appear live on-air and will be placed on the
standby list (Standby Entrant).
if the Selected Entrant does not successfully answer their phone in accordance with clause
(b) above or if their phone is turned off, engaged, the phone line drops out, or they are
inaudible or unreachable for any reason, the Promoter will (in their sole and absolute
discretion) contact the entrant with the “next best” entry on their Personal Contact Number in
the same manner as outlined above, repeating actions (a) – (b) above.
For the avoidance of doubt, being a Selected Entrant, a Standby Entrant, or speaking to a
representative of the Promoter, does not guarantee that an entrant will be deemed the
winner or awarded the Prize.
A maximum of ten (10) Standby Entrants will be selected during the Promotion Period.
Answer a call live on-air
Between 6:00am and 9:00am AEDT on Friday 13 February 2026:
(a) Representatives of the Promoter will review the entries of all of the Standby Entrants and will
select the entrant with the “best” entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole
and absolute discretion) to answer a call live on air (Selected Standby Entrant).
(b) (c) If the Selected Standby Entrant successfully answers their Personal Contact Number within five
(5) rings or by the time it goes to voicemail (the earlier of) (as determined by the Promoter in
its sole and absolute discretion), they will be invited to appear live on-air and will be deemed
the winner and awarded the prize.
if the Selected Standby Entrant does not successfully answer their phone in accordance with
clause (b) above or if their phone is turned off, engaged, the phone line drops out, or they
are inaudible or unreachable for any reason, the Promoter will (in their sole and absolute
discretion) select the Standby Entrant with the “next best” entry, repeating actions (a) – (b)
above.
(d) This process will be repeated until a Selected Standby Entrant successfully answers their phone
in accordance with clause (b) above and appears on-air to be deemed the winner and
awarded the Prize (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion).
The Promoter may contact Standby Entrants and assess their suitability to be awarded the Prize (in the
sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter) on their Personal Contact Number. For the avoidance of
doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been
selected as a winner or will be awarded the Prize.
There will be up to one (1) Selected Standby Entrant deemed the winner and awarded the Prize.
9. Entry Restrictions Entrant must answer a call live on-air to win
Each entrant must nominate a Personal Contact Number and each entrant grants the Promoter the
right to call that entrant on their Personal Contact Number live on-air.

Entrants in the Promotion must be able to receive a phone call from a representative of the Promoter
(on their Personal Contact Number) between the following timeframe (or such other time specified by
the Promoter) and in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Entry Method:
6:00am AEDT and 10:00am AEDT on weekdays during the Promotion Period.
If the entrant does not answer their phone by the time that phone goes to a message bank, the
entrant consents to the Promoter broadcasting that entrant's voicemail message including their full
name and/or business name live on-air. Each entrant warrants that it has obtained all consents from
third parties to broadcast live on-air any information or names (including business names) in the
entrant’s voicemail message.
Each entrant warrants that they have received all consents from third parties that may ordinarily
answer their Personal Contact Number in the entrant's absence to be broadcast live on-air if that third
party answers the relevant phone live on-air. If a third party answers an entrant's Personal Contact
Number, that entrant will not be eligible for a Prize as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and
sole discretion.
Replacing Phone-In and On-Air Entrants
If for any reason an entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear
on-air, or their phone line drops out or is inaudible, the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) may
replace that entrant by contacting/selecting another entrant and inviting them to appear on-air or
participate in an on-air game or challenge (where applicable). The Promoter will repeat this process
until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to appear on-air or
participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge (where applicable).
Calling in and speaking to Promoter
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not
mean they have been selected as an entrant or a winner and they may not be invited to appear on-
air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge or be awarded a Prize.
Entrant must appear on-air
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants must appear on-air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a
winner and awarded a Prize.
10. Judging
Clause 4
All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole
and absolute discretion) by 8:30am AEDT Friday 13 February 2026 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid
entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
11. Judging Criteria

All valid entries will be judged (by representatives of the Promoter) on originality, creativity and
suitability or as otherwise specified by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
12. Prize
Clauses 8 - 15
There is one (1) Prize to be won, comprising of:
• Four (4) x return economy airfares for the winner and up to three (3) companions (to be
selected by the winner and approved by the Promoter) from Melbourne, Australia to Los
Angeles, United States of America, each airfare is valued at up to AUD $3,000 (incl. GST)
(Flights);
• One (1) x Qantas Hotels & Holidays Voucher, valued at up to AUD $10,000 (incl. GST) to be
assigned to the winner (Voucher) .
• AUD $2,000 cash (excl. GST) (Cash).
The Prize is valued at up to AUD $24,000 (incl GST).
13. Prize Restrictions

Prize must be taken on certain dates
Entrants and their companion may use the Flights and/or Voucher on any dates, except during the
following blackout periods:
• 2026 Victoria, Australia School Holidays, as per the below dates:
o 2 April 2026 to 19 April 2026
o 25 June 2026 to 12 July 2026

o 17 September 2026 to 4 October 2026
• Australian Summer 2026 – 2027, as per the below dates:
o 11 December 2026 to 3 February 2027
If the Flights and/or Voucher is used in 2027, Australian Summer and Victorian school holiday periods will
also apply as blackout periods.
All travel must be taken before 30 June 2027.
Prize dates and schedules are not under the Promoter’s control and are subject to change. The
Promoter takes no responsibility for any changes to dates or schedules.
Travel and Visa Requirements
Entrants (and their companion) must, in order to be declared a Prize winner and to participate in the
Prize, be able to travel to Los Angeles, United States of America on any dates, excluding the blackout
periods outlined above.
Prize dates and schedules are not under the Promoter’s control and are subject to change, and the
Promoter takes no responsibility for any changes to dates or schedules.
The Prize winner and their companions are responsible for ensuring they meet the entry requirements of
United States of America (and re-entry into Australia), including obtaining any visas.
The Promoter or Prize Supplier will not be providing advice on eligibility to travel.
If the winner and/or their companion is unable to obtain a relevant visa or travel document, and/or is
refused entry into the relevant country, the winner will forfeit the Prize.
Dates are subject to change
Dates and schedules of the Prizes are not under the Promoter’s control and are subject to change.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for any date or schedule changes or if the Flights are cancelled by
the Prize Supplier for any reason.
Non-Transferable or Exchangeable
The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Venue/Ticket Terms and Conditions
Winners and their companions are subject to the Prize supplier’s terms and conditions, including but not
limited to any Voucher and/or Flights terms and conditions.
No Transfer Component
Winners and their companions must make their own way to and from the airport and/or
accommodation.
There is no transfer component as part of the Prize.
Passport and Travel Insurance
The winner and any travelling companions (if applicable) are responsible for obtaining all necessary
valid travel insurance, documents to travel to the relevant country (including a current passport and
visas, if required) and any vaccinations. The winner should consult the Embassy or Consulate of that
jurisdiction for up-to-date information to ensure they can obtain the required visa prior to travel, in order
to accept the travel voucher component of the Prize. If the winner and/or their companion is unable to
obtain a relevant visa or travel document, and/or is refused entry into the relevant country, the winner
may forfeit the travel voucher component of the Prize, in the sole and absolute discretion of the
Promoter.
Travel Agency
The Flights components of the Prize will be arranged through a travel agency. The Promoter and winner
will communicate directly with the travel agency to arrange the Flight component.
Alternative Flight Route

The Promoter may offer the Prize winner the alternative flight route of Melbourne to LA, returning San
Francisco to LA to Melbourne. The Promoter is under no obligation to make this offer, and such offer
may be made at the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion. If the Promoter offers this alternative flight
route to the Prize winner, the Prize will be considered taken in full and no further flights or additional
prizes will be awarded. Once a Prize winner has decided if they wish to accept or reject the alternative
route, they are unable to change their mind.
14. Total Prize Value Up to AUD $24,000 (incl GST).

17. Prize Delivery

The Prize will be emailed to the winner in the form of a travel pack containing all information required
for the Prize.
18. Additional
Conditions
The winner is responsible for checking state and federal government, health authority and travel
advice to stay up-to-date with the latest travel requirements and restrictions relevant for travel to/from
and between the relevant travel destination. The Promoter is not responsible for any such restrictions
which may affect the winner’s (or any companion’s) ability to redeem and use the Prize (including but
not limited to any travel restrictions in place in the winner’s (or any companion’s) ordinary state of
residence around the time of the Event).
The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, changes, delay or rescheduling of events, travel,
activities and flights and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation
costs) will be the sole responsibility of the winner and its companions. In the event that one or more
event or activity is no longer available, the remainder of the Prize shall constitute the complete and
total Prize.
Prize values are based on recommended retail prices and are correct at the date of publication of
these promotion terms and conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any
change in Prize value between now and the ultimate date individual Prizes are taken.
