THE fifth edition of Europa! Europa Film Festival takes over cinemas from 19th February to 19 March, expanding into Brisbane, Hobart and Auckland for the first time, alongside screenings in Sydney and Melbourne.

This year's program brings 43 films from 22 countries representing the finest filmmaking talent of a diverse continent to screens.

This year's program features fresh new voices in cinema alongside modern masters like Albert Serra, Lav Diaz and Agnieszka Holland, with festival highlights including Opening Night film The Testament of Ann Lee, award-winning animation Arco, and new biopics of Chopin, Vivaldi and Kafka.

Plus, a pair of retrospective strands spotlight the work of two giants of European cinema, Michelangelo Antonioni and Éric Rohmer.

 To celebrate this year's Europa! Europa Film Festival 2026, we're giving you the chance to win a double pass.

Due to the festival running in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Hobart, only residents of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Tasmania are eligible to enter this giveaway.

Competition opens at 5:00pm AEDT on Monday 16th February 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm AEDT on Sunday 22nd February 2026. Eight winners will be chosen at random on Monday 23rd February 2026. To successfully win, entrants must fulfil the above entry conditions before the time the competition closes. Current members/followers are eligible to enter the competition. Only one entry per person. Only one winner per household. To be a valid winner, the entrant must not have won a prize from SWITCH within the last 28 days.
