1.1 General

Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotional advertisements for the competition form part of the conditions of entry.

An attempt to enter the competition not strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed a ‘non-conforming entry’.

Unless otherwise stated, the competition is being run by Little Aussie Communities (ABN 78 279 976 837) of PO Box 1290 Canning Vale, WA 6970.

Little Aussie Communities reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify, combine or supersede the competition (including altering the prize) at Little Aussie Communities' sole discretion.

By participating in a Little Aussie Competition you will be deemed to have:

(a) accepted these terms and conditions; and

(b) expressly consented to receive Little Aussie's weekly community email to which you can unsubscribe at any time; and

(c) acknowledged and consented to the collection and use of your personal information as detailed in section Little Aussie Communities Privacy Statement.
1.2 How to Enter

To enter, competition Entrants must follow the instructions provided in the competition announcement on the Platform where the competition is held.  

An Eligible Entrant (defined below) may only make one (1) Eligible Entry in the promotional period, unless otherwise stated on the Platform. Additional entries will be considered non-conforming and ineligible.

For competitions and giveaways through which Entrants must nominate or vote for a business, an Eligible Entrant may make one (1) Eligible Entry each month, unless otherwise stated on the Platform where the competition is held, however, only one (1) Eligible Entry per Nominated Business will be counted during a specified promotional period.
1.3 Competition Draw - Winning Entries

For all competitions and giveaways, unless otherwise stated in the competition description: a winning entry/entries will be drawn at random.

For competitions and giveaways through which Entrants must provide a response, unless otherwise stated, a winning entry/entries will be chosen by a member of Little Aussie Communities based on creativity, originality and adherence to the brief, at the discretion of Little Aussie Communities.

For competitions and giveaways requiring a correct answer, unless otherwise stated in the competition description: a winning entry/entries will be drawn at random; the first entry/entries drawn containing the correct answer will win.    

For competitions for which Entrants must provide a testimonial about a business that advertises with Little Aussie Communities (eg: Valued Customer Competition, Choose Local promotion), proof of purchase will be verified with the named Advertising Business. Acceptable proof includes invoice/receipt or written confirmation from the named business. If the Entrant is unable to prove they have used the business, they are ineligible to win.
1.4 Eligible Entrant

To be eligible to enter, an entrant must, during the Promotional Period:

    be WA residents and be 18 years of age or over
    be a natural person (not a business, trust or organization)
    provide a valid email address in order to receive their prize if they are drawn as the winner
    not be an Employee of Little Aussie Communities or an immediate family member of an Employee.
    not be an employee of a business that advertises with Little Aussie Communities or an immediate family member of the same (eg: Valued Customer Competition, Choose Local),
    not be an employee of a business or an immediate family member of the same, for competitions that require an Entrant to nominate a business (eg: Food Awards)

1.5 Duration of the promotion

The competition duration is as indicated in the competition announcement via the platform where the competition is held.

The competition dates may be altered at any time, without notice.

No late entries will be eligible to enter the competition.

Little Aussie accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly submitted, incomplete, late, lost or misdirected entries or for any technical malfunction of any communications network.
‍1.6 Nature and value of the prizes

The nature and value of the prize is as indicated on the Platform where the competition is held.

All prize values are the recommended retail value in Australian dollars and are correct at time of printing. Little Aussie Communities takes no responsibility for variations in the prize value.

All prizes are subject to availability, are non‐transferable and not exchangeable.

Little Aussie Communities will not be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond our reasonable control for any element of any prize that is not provided.

Little Aussie Communities may substitute a different prize of equivalent value in place of any prize referred to via the Platform where the competition is held.

The prize does not include any other costs of a personal nature not stated.

The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the recipient is unable to use it as stated.

Each Eligible Entry is eligible to win a maximum of one (1) Prize per competition.
1.6.1 Vouchers as Prizes

The Prize can be redeemed at the Business as indicated on the Platform where the competition is held; or for competitions and giveaways for which and Entrant must nominate or vote for a Business, the named Business of the Entrant.

The length of time to redeem the Prize will be between 1 and 24 months depending on the Business for which the voucher is for.

The Prize may need to redeemed in one (1) purchase or subject to Vendor terms & conditions may be redeemed over multiple purchases

    within the voucher’s validity period until the balance is zero.
    Any available balance can be used for future bookings
    Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited on expiry.

‍1.7 Place, date and time of draw/judging

Winners will be drawn at random from all valid entries received during the promotional period.

The draw will take place within 40 days of the advertised competition closing date.

All competitions/giveaways for which Entrants must provide an original response or submission will be judged by a Little Aussie Communities' employee based on creativity, originality and adherence to the brief.
