any way. The recipient of the provided information is not Meta, but The Intersection Townsville Shopping Centre,
Cnr Ross River Road & Nathan Street, Cranbrook. All questions, comments or complaints are to be referred to The
Intersection Townsville and not Meta. The supplied information is used solely for the execution of this competition
by The Intersection Townsville and is not passed on to any third parties unless this should become necessary for the
delivery of prizes.
1. Information on how to enter the “Win a Gift for Mum” Competition forms part of these terms and conditions.
2. The Competition will commence at 8am Tuesday 21 April and runs until 8am Thursday 7 May 2026.
3. To enter: Participants must sign up to The Intersection Townsville ENewsletter by completing the entry form at
this link: https://theintersectiontownsville.com.au/win-a-gift-for-mum/ or scan the QR code in Centre.
4. Entry is only open to residents of Queensland, Australia. Employees of the promoter, retailers, staff and the
immediate families of participating stores at The Intersection Townsville and the agencies associated with this
Promotion are unable to enter. Immediate family means parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents.
5. Winners will be drawn at random after 8am on the following dates and win the following prizes:
a. Thursday 30 April 2026 - $500 The Intersection Townsville Eftpos Gift Card
b. Thursday 7 May 2026 - $500 The Intersection Townsville Eftpos Gift Card
6. Winners are not eligible to win in future draws for this competition.
7. Total prize pool is $1000.
8. The winner(s) agrees to the gift card terms and conditions on the reverse side of each gift card. Lost or stolen
gift cards cannot be replaced, no cash change will be given.
9. Prizes will not be paid out in cash. Prizes are not transferable to others.
10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries/claims and to disqualify any entrant
who tampers with the entry/claims process or who submits an entry/claim that is not in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the
Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any complications associated with internet, networks or telephone
lines including bugs/viruses and server problems for whatever reason.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time.
13. The Winner(s) will be notified by the email address or phone number provided on the entry form.
14. In the event that the prize winner(s) does not contact The Intersection Townsville within 14 days to claim their
prize we will assume that the prize is unclaimed, a new winner(s) will be selected at random after 8am,
Thursday 21 May 2026.
15. The Winner(s) will be published on The Intersection Townsville Facebook Page & Instagram Account.
16. Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The winner(s) will be asked to present identification to claim their prize in person at The Intersection Townsville.
18. If the winner(s) is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
19. Entrants must consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a
winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time
without further remuneration or reference for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any
outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
20. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the promoter collects personal
information about entrants for the purposes of:
a. Including entrants in the Promotion and, where appropriate, awarding Prizes; if the personal
information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the Promotion; and
b. Enabling the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoters in improving goods and
services and to contact entrants in the future with information on special offers or provide entrants
with marketing materials via email; each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use entrants’
personal information in this manner.
21. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including, the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the
Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether
direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction
(whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c)
any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by
the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize
value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use
of/taking of a prize.
