Calling all photographers, creatives and Brisbane locals! Entries are now open for the 2026 Lord Mayor’s Photographic Awards, with cash prizes of up to $5000 to be won. This year’s theme, Everyday Brisbane, celebrates the genuine moments, people and places that make our city special — from neighbourhood routines and hardworking locals to iconic views and familiar streetscapes. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just love capturing moments on your phone or camera, this is your chance to showcase your unique perspective of Brisbane. There are 7 categories to enter this year, including the brand new Brisbane Postcards Collection category, giving entrants even more opportunities to win. Entries close 4pm Friday 5 June. Photos must have been taken from 7 June 2025 onwards.
