From Bangarra’s rich creative and cultural legacy, discover a compelling triple-bill featuring Keeping Grounded, Brown Boys and Sheoak. Together, these powerful works honour Bangarra’s history while boldly stepping into the future.

Linked by an intergenerational spirit, the three works engage with vital First Nations social and cultural themes, drawing deeply from Indigenous perspectives to honour the enduring connections between people, land and spirit. Audiences are invited on a powerful journey into the intricate bonds between place, identity and belonging.

Grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge, the concept of shelter is re‑imagined as a sacred and transformative space - a place of protection, connection and storytelling, where knowledge is shared and carried across generations, reflecting the spirit at the heart of Indigenous worldviews.
