Promotion Start/Close Period The Promotion starts at 12:00 pm on Thursday, 26 March 2026 and closes at 23:59 pm Friday, 9 October 2026. No entries will be accepted before or after this time. (Promotion Period). Except as otherwise stated, all times are Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Entry Details Definitions Community Club - Means an entity licensed or authorised to field a team in an Australian football league, excluding the 18 AFL clubs licensed to play in the Toyota AFL Premiership Season and 18 AFLW clubs licensed to play in the NAB AFLW Premiership Season. AFL/AFLW Fan – A person who plays, watches or is interested in the sport of Australian rules football. Entry Instructions To enter, entrants must satisfy the criteria set out in the “Entry Restrictions” below and during the Promotion Period: a) b) go to the Competition Website www.afl.com.au/aamiclangersforgood complete all required fields in the web entry form including, but not limited to, personal details, club details including Community Club details (if entry is on behalf of a Community Club), Community Club officeholder details, location, phone and email address. Tell us in 100 words or less: What is your “footy clanger” and how can AAMI help. c) Opt in, during the entry process to receive communications and be contacted by the Promoters and support agencies and not opt out during the Promotion Period; d) tick the box to confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions; and e) once completed, hit the submit button to submit entry, (“Eligible Entrant”). Limit of one entry per AFL/AFLW Fan. Any subsequent entry from the same person after the first valid entry is received will be deemed invalid. Once a valid entry has been received, it will remain eligible for consideration at all Judging Dates conducted during the entire competition entry period, unless otherwise deemed invalid in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Each entrant is only eligible to win one prize. Once an entrant has been selected as a winner, their entry will no longer be eligible for consideration in any subsequent Judging Dates. Entry Restrictions Entry is open to AFL fans and Community Clubs in Australia as defined in the ‘Definitions’ section above. Entrants must be aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoters or of the agencies or organisations associated with this Promotion, including Engage Hub (the “Promotions Partner”), are not eligible to enter. Winner Determination Details Winner determination process This is a contest of skill, judged on criteria set by the Promoters as set out in these Terms and Conditions. Each valid entry will be individually judged and will be at the sole discretion of the Promoters. The criteria for judging will be based on, amongst other things, the originality, relevance of the answer to the question and writing style. Chance will not play a role in determining the competition winners. Winner Selection and Judging Judging: The Promoters will conduct the judging of Eligible Entrants at AAMI, Level 23, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000, at 10:00 am on the Thursday of the week commencing the date listed in the table below, unless that day falls on a public holiday, in which case judging will take place on the next business day. Judging will only take place in rounds where winners are scheduled. Winner Selection: In rounds where winners are scheduled, the Promoters may select one winning AFL Fan and/or one winning Community Club from Eligible Entrants. Each winner will receive the following prize: • Community Club: AUD $15,000 prize money • AFL/AFLW Fan: AUD $1,000 prize money The total prize pool for the Promotion is AUD $256,000. Prize Terms Winning Eligible Entrants are required to provide bank account details to claim their prize. Bank account details will be collected by the Promoter’s nominated partner. The bank account must be in the name of the winning Eligible Entrant (including a registered Community Club) and cannot belong to a third party. Verification of identity and eligibility may also be required prior to payment of the prize. For further details, see the Terms and Conditions. Notification, Publication & Delivery Notification/Publication of Wins The Promotions Partner will be responsible for contacting the winning Eligible Entrants. Winning Eligible Entrants will: - be notified by email and by phone using the details provided in their online entry within two (2) business days of the winner's judgement date. - be announced on Channel 7 during the 2026 AFL or AFLW Premiership Season broadcasts (see Winner Judgement table) 1. To enter, entrants must comply with the Entry Instructions during the Promotion Period. Any entry must be made personally. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the Entry Instructions. Once submitted, entries will not be capable of alteration or deletion. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotion Period. Online electronic entries are deemed received at the time of receipt into the relevant database. The Promoters are not responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries. The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual internet service provider. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which includes objectionable content, profanity or other defamatory statements. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner, who breaches these Terms and Conditions, tampers with the entry process, engages in unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or deceptive behaviour (including any behaviour calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion), or damages the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter. This includes, but is not limited, to entrants using multiple email addresses, postal addresses, PO Box addresses. Inaudible, illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will also be deemed invalid. Eligible Entrants warrant and agree that they have created the entry themselves; they will not submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, derogatory, abusive, harmful to any person or entity or otherwise inappropriate or offensive. Prizes 9. The prize(s) is/are specified in the Prize Details, and subject to Prize Terms (including those specified in these Terms and Conditions). 10. The Promoters take no responsibility for any variation in a prize’s value due to exchange rate changes. 11. Any additional costs not expressly stated but which may be incurred in acceptance and use of a prize are the responsibility of the winner. 12. The Promoters and any related third-party companies, affiliates, or nominated Promotions Partner will not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim related directly or indirectly to the prize, including where a winning Community Club or AFL/AFLW Fan provides incorrect, incomplete, or out-of-date details including bank account details. 13. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted for any other prize, except at the Promoters’ sole discretion. Determination and Notification 14. The winners will be notified and announced on broadcast as per the Schedule. The Promoters and the companies/agencies associated with the Promotion may also publish the name of winners on their websites and in trade publications. 15. The prizes will be awarded to the winner named in the valid entry. 16. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant’s sole responsibility to notify the Promoters. 17. The winning entries are selected at the sole discretion of the Promoters. Claiming Prizes 18. Prizes must be claimed in accordance with instructions set out in the Schedule. If: (i) a prize is not claimed by a winner or the Promotions Partner has been unable (despite reasonable efforts) to successfully contact the winner within 2 business days; or (ii) the Promoters determine a winner to be ineligible to win a prize in accordance with these conditions, the relevant prize will be forfeited and instead awarded to the next Eligible Entrant in accordance with the winner determination process. Any resulting winner(s) will be notified as above. That process will be repeated if required. 19. The Prize can only be awarded to winners (an AFL/AFLW Fan or Community Club) that is able to verify its identity based on any verification that the Promoters reasonably requires. The Promoters may request that an entrant verify their identity. If verification cannot be completed within a reasonable time as stipulated by the Promoters, the entry/prize claim will be deemed invalid. Other Terms and Conditions 20. Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). 21. The Promoters are not liable for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. 22. The winners agree to participate in all reasonable promotional activity on request (such as publicity and photography) surrounding winning a prize, free of charge. 23. All entrants hereby consent to the Promoters using the entrant’s name, entry response, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film, and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purposes of promoting this competition, and any products or services supplied by the Promoters. 24. Subject to any rights you may have under any applicable law, the Promoters assume no responsibility for the following, except to the extent caused or contributed to by our own negligence : (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoters or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise; (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; or (iv) any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoters or their suppliers), or failure of safe delivery of a prize. 25. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoters, the Promotions Partner, and associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or a prize, including without limitation: (i) any indirect loss such as loss of business or other profits; and (ii) any liability for personal injury or death. To the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum allowable by law. The Promoters may request that a winner signs and returns a deed of release to this effect as a condition of a prize being awarded. If a winner fails to sign and return such release, they may forfeit the prize. 26. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way by unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoters’ control (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, weather events, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoters reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries. 27. All entries become the property of the Promoters. The Promoters (and their agents, including Engage Hub) collect, hold, and use entrants’ personal information for the purpose of conducting this competition and for the future promotion of the Promoters’ goods and services, in accordance with the Promoters’ Privacy Policies. Entrants’ personal information is collected from entrants by or on behalf of the Promoters to enable the Promoters and their agents to manage, administer and promote the Promotion and, where applicable, publicise the winner(s). The personal information may also be provided to persons assisting the Promoters, including marketing agencies, IT providers, media outlets and related companies. 29. Entry into the Competition also entitles the Promoters and any related companies that use the AAMI and AFL brands (“we”/“us”) to contact the entrant from time to time with news, offers, products and services that may be of interest (by any means, including telephone, email, mail, SMS or online marketing). In order to carry out direct marketing, entrants’ personal information may be collected from and disclosed to third parties that provide specialised data matching, trending or analytical services, as well as general marketing services. We, and other service providers, may combine personal information collected from entrants with information we, other companies in the Suncorp Group, or our service providers already hold about entrants. We may also use online targeted marketing, data and audience matching, and market segmentation to improve advertising relevance. Each entrant agrees that they must provide and/or maintain their consent to receive such marketing communications and must not opt out of receiving such communications during the Promotion Period. 30. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide the personal information the Promoters request, the Promoters may not be able to enter them into the Promotion. 31. Cost of entry is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply. Eligible Entrants should obtain details of any costs from the service providers 32. Each Eligible Entrant warrants and agrees that: a. they have created the entry themselves; b. they are entitled to reproduce and exploit all underlying works in the entry; c. the entry does not infringe the rights (including copyright, privacy or other intellectual property rights) of any third party, and the Promoters’ use of the entry as contemplated by these Terms will not infringe any such rights; d. e. the entry has not been previously published in any other medium or forum worldwide; they will not submit material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, derogatory, abusive, harmful to any person or entity, or otherwise inappropriate or offensive; and f. they have not granted rights to their entry to any other person which is inconsistent with the rights granted to the Promoters under these conditions. 33. Entries that are found to have been derived from third party work will be considered invalid and, if awarded a prize, the prize must be returned to the Promoters. Each winner indemnifies the Promoters and its associated companies and agents for any claims, costs, expenses, penalties or damages they incur from reproducing, publishing or otherwise using any part of their entry subsequently found to have been derived in any way from any third party works. 34. Winners acknowledge and agree that the Promoters and the Promotions Partner have the right to edit, amend, copy, reproduce, use, publish, broadcast and communicate to the public the entry in any media including television and the internet without any further consultation, reference, payment or other compensation. Each Eligible Entrant also agrees that they will not make any claim against the Promoters or the Promotions Partner arising from the exercise of these rights. |
