Championing our Local Small Businesses

Small businesses are the backbone of our community. In todays tough economic climate, it’s their resilience and hard work that keep our neighbourhoods thriving. That’s why 4BC Mornings with Jason Matthews has teamed up with OnDeck to give back. We want to celebrate the local legends who go the extra mile,  and we’re giving you the chance to help them soar.

Each week, beginning Monday 13th July, Jason Matthews will champion a deserving small business on-air. One lucky nominee per week will receive a $1,000 cash boost to help grow their business and a bonus on-air plug to tell Brisbane all about it.

Eligible entrants
Permanent residents of QLD aged 18 years and over who own and operate a
business in NSW with a valid ABN and are not ineligible to enter the Promotion
under clause 2 of the Terms and Conditions (Entrants).
Entry Method
1. To enter, Entrants must complete the following steps during the
Promotional Period:
2. Visit https://www.4bc.com.au/competitions/ and follow the prompts to
the promotion entry page;
3. Input the requested details;
4. Provide an answer in 100 words or less to the promotional
question, “Tell us in 100 words or less what a $1000 boost
would do for your nominated business.?”; and
5. Submit the fully completed entry form.
Re-entry restrictions for previous winners:
Unless otherwise determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, a
winning Entrant must wait for the specified period before being eligible to win
future Prizes of any category under a competition run by the Promoter:
● previous winner of a prize valued up to and including $200: no
waiting period
● previous winner of a prize valued from $200.01 to $5000: three

● previous winner of a prize valued above $5000: six (6) months.
For example, this means that if You win a prize valued above $5000, you
must wait 6 months before you will be eligible to enter any other competition
run by the Promoter.
The Promoter may request proof of identity from You if it reasonably believes
that You are a previous winner of a prize and the abovementioned exclusion
periods have not elapsed. The Promoter will request proof of identity for any
winner of a prize valued above $5000.

Game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the Winner.
Judging will take place by the Promoter at Ground Floor, Building C, 33-35
Saunders St, Pyrmont, NSW, 2009 on the following dates between 12PM
and 4PM AEST:
• 16/07/26
• 23/07/26
• 30/07/26
• 06/08/26
The Winner in each round of judging will be the Entrant who has most
creatively answered the promotional question. The Promoter reserves the
right to select additional reserve entries that it determines to be the next
best, and record them in order of merit, in case of an invalid entry or
ineligible Entrant.
In the case of an instant win on air or at an outside broadcast, the winner/s
may be notified via the contact details provided upon entry live on air.
If the Prize involves a cash component, You must provide your bank account
details and email address at the request of the Promoter in order to receive
the prize via bank transfer. You will forfeit the Prize if you do not comply with
these requests within a reasonable time period being 5 business days.
The best valid entry, as determined by the judges in each round of judging
will win $1,000 to be paid via electronic funds transfer (EFT) into the
winner’s nominated Australian bank account in the name of the winner or
the winner’s business. 3 months from the date of the winners being determined or the prize draw.
