General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the Pokémon Pinball Machine Competition (“Competition”) conducted by iPlay Australia Pty Ltd ABN 41 661 949 435, with its support office located at 116 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba QLD 4102 (“Promoter”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

1.2 By entering the Competition, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 This Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

1.4 The Competition is conducted to promote iPlay Australia and its goods and services.

1.5 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms and Conditions, tampers with or manipulates the entry process, submits false or misleading information, uses automated entry methods, enters using multiple identities, or engages in conduct that is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, inappropriate or damaging to the integrity of the Competition.

1.6 The Competition may be promoted across iPlay Australia’s website, email database, in-venue signage, paid media, organic social media, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google, Meta platforms and other digital or physical marketing channels.

1.7 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Meta, Google or any other social media platform used to promote the Competition. Entrants release those platforms from any liability arising in connection with the Competition.

1.8 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company International, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. or Stern Pinball, Inc.

1.9 Subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend or modify the Competition or these Terms and Conditions if an event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control prevents the Competition from being conducted as intended, including but not limited to technical failures, fraud, unauthorised intervention, regulatory direction, supply issues or force majeure events.

1.10 Where required by law, the Promoter will not cancel, suspend or materially amend the Competition after commencement without any required regulatory approval.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.

2.2 Entrants under 18 years of age are not eligible to enter.

2.3 Employees, contractors, officers and directors of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, participating venues, agencies, suppliers directly associated with the Competition, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2.4 Immediate family includes spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, step-parent, step-child, step-sibling and any person residing at the same premises.

2.5 Entrants must provide accurate, current and complete information when entering.

2.6 Entries that are incomplete, indecipherable, duplicated, offensive, fraudulent, automated, submitted outside the Competition Period or otherwise not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed invalid.

2.7 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the identity, age, residency and eligibility of any entrant or winner at any time.

2.8 The Promoter may require the winner to provide satisfactory proof of identity, age and Australian residential address before awarding the prize.

3. How to Enter

3.1 To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Competition Period:

a. visit the Competition landing page or scan the official Competition QR code;
b. complete the entry form with all required details, including full name, email address, phone number and state or territory of residence;
c. answer the competition question: “In 25 words or less, tell us who your favourite Pokémon is and why”; and
d. submit the completed entry form.

3.2 No purchase is required to enter the Competition.

3.3 Entry is free. Any costs associated with accessing the Competition landing page are the entrant’s responsibility and are dependent on the entrant’s internet service provider.

3.4 Only one entry per person is permitted.

3.5 Multiple entries from the same person, including entries submitted using multiple email addresses, phone numbers, aliases, accounts or identities, may be deemed invalid.

3.6 Entries must be the entrant’s original work.

3.7 Entries must not include unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening or inappropriate content.

3.8 Entries must not infringe the rights of any third party.

3.9 Entries must be 25 words or less. Entries exceeding 25 words may be deemed invalid or may only be judged on the first 25 words, at the Promoter’s discretion.

3.10 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, corrupted, misdirected or invalid entries, whether caused by technical difficulties, internet issues, platform issues, entrant error or any other reason.

3.11 The Promoter’s decision as to whether an entry is valid is final.

4. Competition Period

4.1 The Competition opens at 9:00am AEST on Friday 26 June 2026.

4.2 The Competition closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 26 July 2026.

4.3 Entries received before the opening time or after the closing time will not be eligible.

4.4 All times stated in these Terms and Conditions are in Australian Eastern Standard Time, unless otherwise stated.

5. Judging and Winner Selection

5.1 The Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

5.2 All valid entries will be judged by representatives of the Promoter.

5.3 Judging will take place on Monday 27 July 2026 at iPlay Australia’s support office, 116 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba QLD 4102, or at another location determined by the Promoter.

5.4 Each valid entry will be judged against the following criteria:

a. creativity and originality;
b. relevance to the competition question;
c. clarity and impact of the answer; and
d. overall appeal.

5.5 The eligible entry judged to be the best entry according to the judging criteria will win the prize.

5.6 The judges may select reserve entries in order of merit in case the winning entry is deemed invalid, the winner is ineligible, or the prize is not claimed in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5.7 In the event of a tie, tied entries will be re-judged against the criterion of creativity and originality.

5.8 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Winner Notification and Publication

6.1 The winner will be notified in writing by email and/or SMS within 2 business days of judging using the contact details provided on their entry form.

6.2 The Promoter may also attempt to contact the winner by phone.

6.3 The winner must respond to the Promoter’s notification and provide any requested verification information within 10 business days of notification.

6.4 The winner’s first initial, surname and state or territory may be published on the iPlay Australia website at www.iplayaustralia.com.au and/or on iPlay Australia social media channels.

6.5 Where required by law, the winner’s details will be published for the required period and in the required manner.

6.6 By entering, entrants consent to the Promoter publishing the winner’s name and state or territory for the purposes of Competition administration and compliance.

7. Prize

7.1 There is 1 major prize to be won.

7.2 The major prize is 1 x Pokémon by Stern Pinball Pro machine, valued at $11,950 AUD including GST at the time of publication.

7.3 The total prize pool is valued at $11,950 AUD including GST.

7.4 The prize value is accurate at the time of publication and is based on the recommended retail value supplied to the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

7.5 The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, credit or any other product or service.

7.6 The prize must be taken as offered.

7.7 If the prize, or any part of the prize, becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute the prize, or that part of the prize, with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any required regulatory approval.

7.8 The prize does not include any accessories, additions, modifications, ongoing servicing, maintenance, repairs, insurance, electrical work, building access modifications, installation works, venue preparation or other costs not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.

7.9 The winner is responsible for ensuring they have a suitable, safe and accessible location for the prize.

7.10 The Promoter is not responsible for any inability of the winner to accept, receive, install, house or use the prize due to space restrictions, access limitations, body corporate rules, tenancy rules, electrical requirements, safety requirements or any other personal circumstances.

7.11 The prize may be delivered to one Australian residential or business address nominated by the winner, subject to reasonable accessibility and freight availability.

7.12 If delivery to the winner’s nominated address is not reasonably possible due to location, access, freight restrictions or safety concerns, the Promoter may require the winner to collect the prize from a nominated location or arrange alternative delivery at the winner’s cost.

7.13 Risk in the prize passes to the winner once the prize has been delivered to the winner, collected by the winner, or delivered to the winner’s nominated carrier, as applicable.

7.14 The Promoter provides the prize “as is” and makes no warranty regarding its fitness for purpose, except for any rights, guarantees or warranties that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7.15 Any manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.
