Only Australian residents who are aged 18 or over.

the Promoter; and
the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition.
Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

Where will the competition run?

The competition will run in participating BIG W stores (including online at www.bigw.com.au, but excluding BIG W Marketplace) (Stores).

Purchase any two participating product/s from a Store, in one transaction:

CADBURY blocks;
CADBURY and FRY'S sharepacks;
CADBURY, FRY'S and EUROPE bars and bitesize bags;
35g Caramello Koala, 35g Freddo, 30g Chomp, 21.5g Curly Wurly, 100g Furry Friends;

To enter, you must, during the Competition Period:
make a Qualifying Purchase from a Store and collect your original itemised purchase receipt (Receipt); and
visit the Website, locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including by uploading an image of the Qualifying Purchase Receipt, and providing all other requested information, to see if you have provisionally won an instant win prize and to receive 1 entry into the major prize draw.
For the avoidance of doubt, whether you win an instant prize or not, you will receive 1 entry into the major prize draw.

Your Qualifying Purchase must show on one Receipt only.

Your Receipt must clearly identify where the Qualifying Purchase was made, the product/s purchased (which must be/comprise a Qualifying Purchase) and the date of purchase (which must be during the Competition Period before you submitted your entry).

You must keep original Receipts for all entries for verification purposes until after the unclaimed major prize draw publishing date of 18/09/2026.

Receipts must not be generated, tampered with or manipulated/altered in any way. If, the Promoter reasonably suspects, based on the information available, that a Receipt may be tampered or altered/manipulated, you will be asked for further information to allow the Promoter to validate your Receipt. If the information you provide does not establish the validity of your Receipt (to the Promoter's reasonable satisfaction) or you fail to provide such information in the timeframe reasonably requested, the Promoter may invalidate your entry/ies.

The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry, including having the requisite photograph capability.

How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?
There will be up to 101 winners determined in respect of this competition – up to 100 instant prize winners and 1 major prize winner.

Instant win prizes

There are up to 100 instant win prizes to be awarded based on pre-determined times during the Competition Period selected by a computerised random system at 111/87 Gladstone Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3025.

Major prize

There will be 1 major winner determined in respect of this competition.

There will be 1 draw conducted.

The draw will be held at 12pm (AEST) on 13/08/2026 at 111/87 Gladstone Street, South Melbourne, VIC 3205.

The first valid entry drawn randomly from the entries received during the Competition Period (including previous instant winning entries) will win the major prize.

The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

What can I win?

There are up to 101 prizes available – up to 100 instant win prizes and 1 major prize.

The major prize is a cash prize of $5,000, awarded via EFT to the winner's nominated Australian bank account within 28 business days of the Promoter receiving their Australian bank account details.

The overall total prize pool is valued at up to $10,000.

How many times can I enter?

You can enter up to 4 times in total during the Competition Period (based on your email address), provided you only enter once per Qualifying Purchase and per Receipt.

How and when will the winner/s be informed?

Instant win prize winners

If you are an instant prize winner, you will get a return online message acknowledging your entry and informing you if you have provisionally won an instant prize and if so, details on how to verify your entry and claim your instant prize.

For the avoidance of doubt, the validation period for an instant win prize is 7 business days. Instant win prizes will be delivered via email to the email address included in your entry form. Allow up to 14 business days from validation to receive your instant win prize.

Major prize winner

The major prize winner will be notified by phone and in writing by email (via the details included in your entry form) within 7 days of determination and will have their first name initial, last name and postcode published on the Website on 20/08/2026 for a period of 28 days.

Proof of purchase

You must keep your original physical itemised purchase Receipt(s) as proof of purchase for all entries until after the unclaimed major prize draw publishing date of 18/09/2026, as this may be required for verification purposes.

If you don't produce the above proof of purchase for all entries when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize.

Proof of purchase must be identical to that provided by you with your entry. If, in the Promoter's opinion based on the available information, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, or used the same Receipt more than once to enter, all of your entries will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.

Unclaimed & un-won prize/s

Instant win prizes: There will be no unclaimed instant prizes. Subject to verification, instant win prizes will be automatically awarded to winners via email to the email address associated with their entry. It is an entrant's responsibility to ensure that they enter their email address correctly. If an entrant fails to enter their details correctly, the instant win prize will be withdrawn as un-won and will be dealt with as specified below.

Major prize claim date: By 5pm (AEST) on 10/09/2026.

Unclaimed Major prize determination: 12pm (AEST) on 11/09/2026 at the same location as the original draw.

If the major prize has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact the major prize winner (or the major prize winner does not contact the Promoter) by the major prize claim date above, the relevant entry will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the major prize to a Reserve Entrant and/or carry out an unclaimed major prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the major prize amongst valid entrants.

Any such major prize winner will be informed by phone and in writing by email within 7 days of determination and will also have their first name initial, last name and postcode published on the Website on 18/09/2026 for a period of 28 days.

Unwon instant win prize determination: 12pm (AEST) on 11/09/2026 at the same location as the original draw.

If an instant win prize is un-won during the Competition Period, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter cannot contact the winner of that instant win prize (or an instant prize winner does not contact the Promoter) the relevant entry/ies will be discarded and the Promoter will carry out an un-won instant win prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the instant win prize/s amongst valid entrants who (if possible) have not already won an un-won instant win prize. Any such winner/s will be informed in writing by email within 7 business days of determination.

For clarity, if all prizes are won and claimed by the prize claim date, the un-won prize draw will not be conducted.

If any prize remains un-won at the end of this competition, or if a prize winner cannot be found, that information will be published on the Website on 12/10/2026.

Collection and use of your personal information

If you win the major prize, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. You consent to the Promoter using your name/s and image/s in any promotional or advertising activity.

The Promoter may collect your personal information directly or through its agents or contractors. The Promoter will use your personal information to conduct and manage the competition. The Promoter may disclose your personal information to its related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this competition, communicating with you or storing data. This may include disclosures to organisations outside Australia including in places such as New Zealand, Switzerland, Singapore, United Kingdom and the United States of America.

If you have marked the “opt-in” box on the entry form, you consent to the Promoter keeping your personal information on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging, provided that where required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Promoter includes a functional unsubscribe facility in each direct marketing communication it sends you so that you may use to opt-out of any further such communications and the functional unsubscribe facility complies with the Spam Regulations 2021 (Cth).

By entering, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this competition.
