Snap a photo or video of Dad in his happy place and you could win him a $300 fuel voucher for Father’s Day, Sunday 6 September 2026. We would love to see your favourite camps and destinations around Australia, so pack the memories in and send them our way before entries close midday on Friday 4 September 2026.

We have been on the road with families like yours since 1992, and nothing sums up camping quite like a dad kicked back by the fire with a happy kid beside him. That is the feeling we want to celebrate. Whether it is a quiet lakeside sunset, a beach camp with the van, or a bush clearing miles from anywhere, we want to see where your dad is at his most content.
What you could win

One lucky winner will receive a $300 fuel voucher to help with the next leg of your travels. We know fuel is one of the biggest costs of getting out there, so this is our way of giving a little back and keeping the wheels turning towards the next great camp.

Even if your entry is not the one drawn for the voucher, you can still receive bonus publicity. We give a shout out across our socials, our newsletter and the blog to any of the photos and videos we select, and your favourite spots may even end up featured in a future guide.

How to enter

Entering is easy, and you can send more than one.

    Photos: attach your high resolution photos (over 2 MB) via email to info@campsaustraliawide.com. (Or use the google drive link below.)  Please don’t embed photos into an email, attach instead and make sure they are not decreased in size.
    Videos: because video files are large, upload them to our shared folder here: Google Drive upload folder.
    Tag us: in addition, you are also welcome to share your entry on social media and tag Camps Australia Wide: #CAMPSAUSTRALIAWIDE

Whichever way you send it, please include the name of the campground and the state as well as your name, so we can credit the spot properly, for example “Bronte Lagoon, Tasmania by yourname“. We are always happy to acknowledge the people behind the photos, and if you are an influencer we will also give you a shout out across our socials.
A little inspiration

The photo at the top of this post says it all: Dad rugged up by the fire at Bronte Lagoon, Tasmania, a happy little camper beside him, and the sun dropping behind the gums over the water. You do not need a professional camera or a perfect shot. A real moment beats a polished one every time, and that is exactly what we are hoping to see.

How do I enter the Father’s Day competition?

Send us a photo of Dad in his happy place by email to info@campsaustraliawide.com, or upload a video to our shared Google Drive folder. You can also tag Camps Australia Wide on social media. Please include the your name, the name of the campground and the state with your entry.
What is the prize?

One winner receives a $300 fuel voucher to help with their travels. We choose our favourite entry, and the winner is announced Friday 4 September 2026.
When do entries close?

How do I send a video?

Video files are usually too big for email, so please upload them to our shared Google Drive folder using the link in this post. Photos can simply be emailed to info@campsaustraliawide.com.
What happens if I do not win?

Even if your entry is not drawn for the fuel voucher, we still give a shout out across our socials, newsletter or blog to any photos and videos we select. Selected spots may even feature in a future guide.
