Norton Plaza – Celebrate Dad & Win Competition - Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter the ‘Celebrate Dad & WIN’ Father’s Day Competition forms part of these terms and
conditions.
2. The Competition will commence at 8am AEST Wednesday 19 August 2026 and finish at 9am AEST Wednesday 2
September 2026.
3. To enter: Participants must sign up to the Norton Plaza ENewsletter by completing the entry form advertised on
the Centre website or social media accounts.
4. Participants only need to enter once.
5. Entry is only open to residents of New South Wales, Australia. Employees of the promoter, managers and lessees
of participating stores and employees of participating stores at Norton Plaza and the agencies associated with
this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
6. A representative from Norton Plaza will draw three winner at random after 9am AEST, on 2 September 2026.
7. The three winners will each receive a Norton Plaza Gift Card valued at $250. Total prize pool is $750.
8. The winner agrees to the gift card terms and conditions found on the back of the gift card. Lost or stolen gift
vouchers cannot be replaced, no cash change will be given.
9. Prizes will not be paid out in cash. Prizes are not transferable to others.
10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries/claims and to disqualify any entrant
who tampers with the entry/claims process or who submits an entry/claim that is not in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter
to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any complications associated with internet, networks or telephone
lines including bugs/viruses and server problems for whatever reason.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time.
13. The Winner will be notified by the email address or phone number provided on the entry form within 24 hours of
the official draw.
14. In the event that the prize winner does not contact Norton Plaza to claim their prize within 14 days we will
assume that the prize is unclaimed, a new winner(s) will be selected at random after 9am AEST Wednesday 16
September 2026.
15. If after the winner has been contacted and verified they do not present in person at Norton Plaza to claim their
prize by 9am AEST Wednesday 16 September 2026, a new winner will be selected at random after 9am AEST
Wednesday 16 September 2026.
16. The Winner will be published on Norton Plaza social media accounts.
17. Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. The winner will be asked to present identification to claim their prize.
19. The winner will be required to collect their prize in person at Norton Plaza at a date and time coordinated with
Centre Management.
20. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian.
21. Entrants must consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a
winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time
without further remuneration or reference for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome),
and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
22. By participating in the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the promoter collects personal
information about entrants for the purposes of:
a. Including entrants in the Promotion and, where appropriate, awarding Prizes; if the personal
information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the Promotion; and
b. Enabling the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoters in improving goods and services
and to contact entrants in the future with information on special offers or provide entrants with
marketing materials via email; each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use entrants’ personal
information in this manner. (If they complete consent on the Entry Form.)
23. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including, the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the
Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether
direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction
(whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c)
any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by
the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value
to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use
of/taking of a prize.
