Title: Radio TripleRRR Memb - Win DP to see My Disco/Melb Town Hall/Closes 26/8 Post by: oldfellow on Tuesday 25 August 2026, 02:31:05 am https://www.rrr.org.au/subscriber-giveaways/my-disco-robin-fox-jeho-yun-kyoungjin-so
Closes 26 August 2026, 7 pm MY DISCO / Robin Fox / Jeho Yun + Kyoungjin So Where industrial force and rhythmic intensity collide. Three works. Three thresholds. One shared space of intensity. Melbourne’s own MY DISCO return for a rare hometown performance, their first time in 4 years. The trio present a career-spanning set tracing the full arc of their singular output. Built on tension, repetition, and negative space, their live performances are as precise as they are visceral: a slow-burn descent into darkness, sharpened to its most minimal form. Premiering in its full concert form, Robin Fox’s PRESENCE transforms the room into a force of light and frequency. Lasers slice through haze and darkness in a tightly synchronised choreography of sound and light, collapsing the boundary between what is seen and what is heard. Opening the night, Jeho Yun + Kyoungjin So present 노크 (KNOCK) — a ritual of traditional Korean percussion and movement, lasers and electronic sound. A strike against the boundary between worlds, each gesture is answered by light pulses and sonic resonance. This world premiere performance transforms the wall from a symbol of separation into a threshold of communication between the physical and virtual worlds. 5:30pm — 10pm - This Sunday 30th Aug at Melbourne Town Hall Tickets on sale now from nowornever.melbourne.vic.gov.au/event/mth-sun Triple R subscribers can enter the competition below for the chance to win a double pass.
