STANDARD TERMS 1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. 2. WHO CAN ENTER? 2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of Australia, 18 years of age or older, where the Channel Seven signal is received. 2.2 Employees and their immediate family members of Seven Network (Operations) Limited (“Promoter”), Qantas Airways Limited (“Sponsor”) and their associated agencies and companies and any prize suppliers are not eligible to enter. 2.3 In this clause 2, a reference to “Immediate Family Member” includes a spouse, defacto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child or sibling. 3. HOW TO ENTER 3.1 The competition commences on Friday 28th August 2026 at 05.30am (AEST) and concludes on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 12.00pm (AEST) (“the Competition Period”). 3.2 In order to enter, viewers must: a) Visit the Sunrise website and register their full name, address (including state and postcode), email address, and mobile phone number on the Competition page; and b) Submit an answer to the competition question, “Tell us in 25 words or less why you deserve to win 1 million Qantas Frequent Flyer points and where you’d go?” 3.3 Entrants are limited to one entry per day, throughout the competition period. 3.4 Entries must be received by Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 12.00pm (AEST). 3.5 The entry must be: a) the original independent creation of the Entrant, b) written in English; and c) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other parties. 3.6 Entrants who have won a prize in any Sunrise competition in the past 12 months are not eligible to win the Prize in this Competition. 3.7 Clause 3.6 does not apply to South Australian residents, who are eligible to win more than one prize in a 12-month period. 3.8 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, validity of driver’s license and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 3.9 Subject to state legislation, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any individual who the Promoter reasonably believes has: ▪ submitted an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; Page 2 of 6 ▪ tampered with, interfered with, or attempted to interfere with the entry process or the operation of the promotion; ▪ engaged in unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or otherwise improper conduct designed to gain an unfair advantage; ▪ used automated entry methods, scripts, bots, multiple identities, or other means to manipulate or circumvent the promotion mechanics; or ▪ breached these Terms and Conditions. 3.10 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The prize winners agree to grant the Promoter and Sponsor a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use their entries in all media worldwide and the prize winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 3.11 Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers, in its sole discretion, to infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity, will be considered ineligible. The decision to accept or reject an entry is at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into. 3.12 Neither the Promoters nor Sponsor are responsible for any data or other information related to this competition that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer / server/ software problems will be rectified as quickly as possible. 3.13 Entrants must provide accurate and complete information when submitting entries, or the entry will be deemed invalid. 4. PRIZES 4.1 There will be One (1) prize winner of the Competition. The prize winner (“Winner”) will be awarded one (1) of the following: Prize Prize Details Prize Value One (1) x Major Prize One Million (1,000,000) Qantas points to be debited into the Winner’s Qantas Account $53,523.00 Total Prize Value: $53,523.00 4.2 Qantas Points may take up to 8 weeks to be credited to the winner’s account from the date of judging (or any re-judging date, as applicable). 4.3 If the winner is not already a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, membership to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, normally valued at $99.50, will be included in their Prize. To accept this part of the Prize, the winner must not already be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and must complete the standard join process including agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (available at Qantas.com/terms). 4.4 The maximum notional value of the Prize is AU$53,523.00 based on a sample of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards that could be obtained by redeeming through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (as fully defined in the terms and conditions of the program available at qantas.com/terms. 4.5 The estimate of the maximum notional value of each prize [the Prize] is provided for information purposes only. Page 3 of 6 4.6 Each Prize [the Prize] is awarded and must be redeemed, in accordance with and subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (Qantas.com/terms), the Qantas Store Terms of Use (Qantas.com/store), voucher terms and conditions (including expiry rules) if relevant, and any other terms and conditions disclosed at the time of redemption. 4.7 The redemption of each Prize [the Prize] is subject to the availability of Rewards that may be obtained through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. 4.8 Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accepts the conditions of use of that prize. 4.9 If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 4.10 Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or traded for an alternative prize. 4.11 The Promoter or Sponsor accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance or redemption of the prize, or this Competition. Independent financial advice should be sought by the Winner prior to accepting the Prize. The Promoter and Sponsor accept no responsibility for any variation in prize value. 4.12 Prizes are not transferable and not refundable. 4.13 Subject to clause 4.3, Prize Winners must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to receive the points they are awarded. 4.14 In the event that an element of the Prize outlined in Clause 4.1 above is, for any reason, cancelled, postponed or not available, that element(s) of the Prize will be considered as forfeited and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the Prize. If, for any reason whatsoever, a Winner does not take an element of their Prize within the time period stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize. 4.15 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses related to the Prizes become the responsibility of the Winners. All costs associated with the Prize which are not expressly stated in these terms and conditions to be included, including but not limited to additional cost for transportation. 4.16 In participating in Competition, the prize winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The prize winners grant the Promoter and Sponsor a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the prize winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 4.17 The prize winners agree that they will not sell or otherwise make available their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation. 4.18 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Prize Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Sponsor and the Promoter’s requirements. 4.19 The Prize Winners must provide valid identification to the Promoter upon the Promoter’s request. HOW TO WIN 5.1 There will be One (1) Prize Winner (“Winner”) of the Competition. 5.2 The winner will be judged on Thursday 3rd September 2026 at 12.30pm (AEST). The Winners will be the best valid entries as judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter having regard to authenticity, creativity, and originality at the Sunrise offices at Media City, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh NSW 2015. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the prize winner. 5.3 Each entrant who has entered the Competition during the competition period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the prize judging. 5.4 The Winners may be announced during the live Sunrise broadcast between 5:30am AEST and 9:00am AEST on Friday 4th September 2026. Page 4 of 6 5.5 The prize winner will be contacted by telephone or email within two (2) buisness days of the winner judging. The prize winner’s first initial, last name and postcode will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of judging. 5.6 The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge in the event of a Winner not claiming a Prize by 12:00 AEDT on Thursday 3rd December 2026. The re-judging will be done at the same time and place as the original judging, on Thursday 3rd December 2026. The alternative Winner, if any, will be notified in writing and by phone within two (2) business days of the re-judging and their name will be published on the Sunrise website within two (2) business days of re-judging. 5.7 The judges’ decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result. 5.8 Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid. 5.9 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and Sponsors requirements. Prizes are subject to Sponsor and prize suppliers Terms and Conditions. 5.10 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter or the Sponsor in their absolute discretion. 6. NO LIABILITY 6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter or Sponsor’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, pandemic, epidemic, government restraint, or act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition. If, due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter is unable to provide the stated prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award a substitute prize. 6.2 The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Qantas Airways Limited and their associated agencies and companies will not take any responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. 6.3 Promoter, Sponsor and prize suppliers are not responsible for any costs associated with Prize collection. 6.4 The Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Qantas Airways Limited and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur: a) during the judging; b) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the competition; or c) in the participation in any prize; d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail; e) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; f) in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; and g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion. 6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes Page 5 of 6 beyond the control of the Promoter and/ or Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation. 6.6 The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or production requirements. 6.7 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s and the Sponsor’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. 6.8 Seven Network (Operations) Limited and the Sponsor assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. 6.9 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter or the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. 6.10 By entering the competition, and by collecting a Prize, Winners acknowledges and accepts that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the Prize, are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. Neither the Promoter nor the Sponsor or prize supplier are responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst a Winner is travelling.
