How can my Household take part in Water Night?

This year’s theme is Tap Pause Level Up.

For five hours, we’re asking households across Australia to pause their usual tap use and pay attention to those everyday moments when we automatically reach for running water.

You might be surprised by just how often it happens.

Register your household for Water Night 2026, then encourage your family, friends and community to get involved too.

If you’re under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian registers on your behalf.

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants
agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
Details
Eligible Entrants
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over who sign up to
participate in Water Night 2026 from The Water Conservancy from 1
September 2026. Entrant must be an individual and not a company or
organisation. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its
related entities, and any agencies associated with this competition are
ineligible to enter.

The Water Conservancy c/o Water Services Association of Australia Limited
(the "Promoter") (ABN 54 117 907 285), 15 Castlereagh Street Sydney, New
South Wales, Australia.
How to Enter
To enter, each entrant must, during the Entry Period:
 1. Scan the QR code or visit the Water Night
website www.waternight.com.au
 2. Enter Your Details
 3. Register
Limits on Entry One entry per person, who prior to the Entry Period has not previously
registered with The Water Conservancy for Water Night 2026.
Entry Period
The competition commences on 1 September 2026 at 12:00am and closes on
22 October 2026 at 5:00pm. All eligible registrations received during the
Entry Period will be included in this competition, including the first 500
eligible registrations entered into the Exclusive Giveaway.
AEST or AEDT, as applicable in New South Wales, Australia. Entries are
deemed to be made at the time of receipt by the Promoter, not the time of
posting or transmission by the entrant. The Promoter accepts no
responsibility for any entries not received for any reason (whether or not due
to any negligence by the Promoter), including without limitation any
technical errors, misdirection, misspellings, late, lost, delayed or misdirected
entries. You irrevocably agree not to challenge the results of the promotion.
Winner/s
The winner draw will run 1 time with 7 winners selected on Monday 2
November 2026 at 12pm from all eligible entries.
The winners will be contacted by email. Please allow at least 28 days from the
date of notification for the delivery of the prizes.

The prize is subject to product availability at the time of purchase. If the
specified model is unavailable, The Water Conservancy reserves the right to
provide an alternative dishwasher of equal or greater value and a comparable
water-efficiency rating.
The prize includes delivery of the dishwasher only. Installation, connection,
disconnection or removal and disposal of any existing appliance is not
included and will be the responsibility of the winner.
Prize Limitations Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or
exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
Prize Delivery
Upon receiving the winning confirmation from The Water Conservancy,
the winner will be required to share address details for the delivery of the
prize. Should the winner not be present at the agreed time of arrival The
Water Conservancy takes no responsibility of the whereabouts of listed
prizing.
Winners will be notified by email.
Should a winner not claim their prize within 1 month of the email
notification, their entry will be deemed invalid, and the Promoter may
conduct a redraw from the remaining eligible entries to select a replacement winner.
