Oh myyyy!!! Can anyone find the posts on here for these 2 competitions I won? Because I looked in the search for both of them and couldn't find them!

I got a phone call last night from a lady at TRAVEL + LEISURE magazine she said I won their competition!!!!! She said it's 4 nights in Phuket and 2 nights in Singapore! And it's worth $12,000! I said to her "Are you serious?!"  She said Yes!!! Anyway I have until the end of the year to use it. :) She said it's a condition I take my mum (I was going to anyway!) because in my 25 words or less I said how my mum needs a holiday and they said thats why they picked me! :) I can't remember exactly what I wrote though.

And then today I had to sign for an Eclipse Mints bar fridge!

How strange that they told you that you had to take your Mum...I never expect them to force you to go through with something just becasue you wrote it in your 25 WOL!!! I base my entries on trying to be different and score the prize, not all my answers are serious though...!

It is the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion to check any travel advisories issued by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and to determine whether or not they will redeem the prize. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the winner and/or their travel companion arising out of a failure by the winner and/or their travel companion to follow any travel advisories issued by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel destination to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
Any gift certificates for the accommodation must be presented upon arrival and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. All components of the prize must be taken together or otherwise are deemed to be forfeited.
To the extent permitted by law, all entrants release and indemnify the Promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss) arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the promotion or prize including (but not limited to) loss of income, loss of opportunity, personal injury or death and damage to property and whether direct, indirect, consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise, except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation.
