A piece of advice, if you want to go up to the Eiffel Tower, avoid to go on the top floor. It took my son and myself 2 hours until we were on the ground floor again. Also, no toilette facilities on the top floor.They stop on the second floor, and again there is a huge waiting line to catch the next lift to the ground floor. All in all, a 3 hour experience. My son's comment...I hate the Eiffel Towel, lol.

I was there last year in July (weather was fantastic, great time to go) and it was wonderful...i also won the trip! Advice for Eiffel Tower, get in line first thing in the morning...dont have to queue for so long!

Post by: claireabella92 on Monday 11 January 2010, 06:10:23 pm I agree with the Eiflfle Tower trips, when I went half the tower was on stike so only one lift was operating taking people up and down, waited about 4 hours, but had a great time with all the people selling super cheap souveneirs and taking in the atmosphere.

I paid for a quick day trip to Paris and loved it there and would so love to go back. I went in January (Winter) and so the queue for the Eiffel Towel was really short. Definitely visit the Eiffel Tower. Paris is so pretty, I'm sure you'll love it. What a great first overseas holiday!
