Terms and Conditions

   1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions.
   2. The Promoter is Ardent Leisure Ltd, trading as Dreamworld.
   3. The promotional period begins 15 August 2010 at 00:01 AEST and closes at 24 August at 11.59pm. AEST.
   4. Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia and New Zealand. Ardent Leisure Limited employees and their immediate families are excluded from entry.
   5. How to enter, visit the “1000 Free Tickets Tab” on www.facebook.com/dreamworld during the promotional period and answer the daily question in 140 characters or less. 100 winners will be drawn each day for 10 days based on the most creative entry.
   6. Entries are only valid for the day of entry. Limit of one competition entry each day accepted.
   7. Prize winners are selected by Dreamworld, Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera, Qld 4209. Entries will close at 11.59am AEST each day. Winners will be selected and announced by 12.00am AEST the following day. Winners will be listed on www.facebook.com/dreamworld.  Prizes must be collected from Dreamworld between 10 Sept 2010 and 26 August 2011.
   8. There are 1000 prizes to be won. Each prize includes 1 x Single Adult ticket to Dreamworld valid for one day entry only. (valid until 27 August 2011). Value of each prize is $72.
   9. Prize includes Dreamworld entry only. Travel costs and in-park expenses are not included.
  10. Validity date of this prize cannot be extended.
  11. Prize cannot be exchanged, redeemed for cash or sold. In the event a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of prize. Lost or damaged tickets cannot be replaced.
  12. Prizes must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Any unused portion of the prize is not-transferable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash.
  13. If the winner is under the age of 18 years the prize may be awarded, at the absolute discretion of the promoter, to their parent or legal guardian. In the event that the winner is under 18 years of age, the winner must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 years and over.
  14. Any change in the value of the prize between publishing date and the date prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter.
  15. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By entering this promotion you understand that you are providing your information to Ardent Leisure Ltd and not to Facebook.
  17. By entering this promotion you accept that Ardent Leisure Ltd will be capturing profile information including email address in order to contact the winner.
  18. By entering this promotion you accept that Ardent Leisure may use your entry for their promotional and publicity purposes.
  19. Ardent Leisure Ltd reserves the right to moderate all entries and remove any entries considered to be of an offensive or defamatory nature.

  21. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained relating to the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  22. The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release form determined by the promoter in it’s absolute discretion.
  23. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under the Lottery and Gaming Regulation 1993 (SA), and state permit regulation.
  24. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.
  25. The winners will be announced on the Dreamworld competition page on Facebook and notified by email.
