Facebook Competition

Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and all entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions to be valid. The Promoter is BridgeClimb Sydney, 5 Cumberland Street, The Rocks, Sydney NSW 2000. ABN 56 079 564 346.
Prize Outline

BridgeClimb Sydney will provide an exclusive Climb for six people on The Express Climb. The total value of the prize is equal to $2,376.00 inclusive of GST.
How to Enter

To enter and be eligible to win an exclusive VIP Climb for six people for The Express Climb, entrants will need to become a fan of the BridgeClimb Sydney page on Facebook and then tell us in 25 words or less what they would like to see on the official BridgeClimb Sydney page on Facebook. Only people who have become a fan of the BridgeClimb Sydney page on Facebook are eligible to enter the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Date

Entries must be received between 9am AEST Thursday 1 July 2010 and 11:59pm AEST Thursday 30 September 2010.
Notifying the Prize Winner

BridgeClimb Sydney will select the best entry and notify the winner of the competition via email on Friday 15 October 2010.
Competition Terms & Conditions

The prize will be issued in the form of a BridgeClimb prize letter. The prize letter is valid for 12 months from Friday 15 October 2010. Up to six people including the winner can experience The Express Climb on a Day or Night Climb only (i.e. not a Dawn Climb or Twilight Climb), between Monday and Sunday, outside exclusion periods.

The prize is non negotiable, non transferable to another person and cannot be redeemed for cash nor it be exchanged. If the winner does not redeem the prize for Climbs within the time set by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit the prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in the prize’s value. The prize is subject to availability.

To participate in The Express Climb, the Climber must meet BridgeClimb’s standard health and safety conditions, available at http://www.bridgeclimb.com/The-Climbs/Health--Safety/. Climbers will need to take into account any medical conditions they may have that may impact on their ability to climb vertical ladders and steep slopes safely.

Climbers must be over 10 years of age and physically fit. All 10 to 15 year-old Climbers must be accompanied by a paying adult Climber (or they may use an adult Gift Certificate or prize letter valid for 1 or more adults).

The level of exertion and exhilaration is dependent on the Climb experience chosen by the Climber. The experience is between 2¼ and 3½ hours depending on the climb chosen and potentially exposes participants to all weather conditions.

All Climbers will be breath tested and must register a blood alcohol content reading of less than 0.05%. Climbers who fail this test will not be permitted to Climb and entrants will not be offered an alternate prize.

Climbers must complete a declaration form and satisfy BridgeClimb Sydney’s terms of trade. These are available at pdf icon  BridgeClimb Declaration Form (838.84kB) and http://www.bridgeclimb.com/Terms-of-Trade/.

No other expenses will be paid by BridgeClimb Sydney. Any additional incidental charges such as flights, accomodation, meals, laundry, telephone calls, etc will be at the prize recipient’s expense.

The promotion is only open to Australian residents who have a valid email address and are over 18 years old, other than employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion.

This is not a full list of conditions to experience The Express Climb. It is the entrant’s responsibility to access all relevant information from BridgeClimb Sydney’s website on the page references provided above or from BridgeClimb on +61 2 8274 7777.

The exclusion periods are between 27 December 2010 and 9 January 2011 inclusive, or during Australian school holidays or on national public holidays. Prizes cannot be varied or extended.
