7.  Zither?

http://www.filmsite.org/thir.html

The director knew that the film's musical score could not be reflective of the traditional Old Vienna - waltz music by Strauss. Instead, it would be provided by a solo instrument -- a zither. The jaunty but haunting musical score by Viennese composer/performer Anton Karas lingers long after the film's viewing with its twangy, mermerizing, lamenting, disconcerting (and sometimes irritating) hurdy-gurdy tones. In fact, Karas' musical instrument was a leading film character and advertised as such: "He'll have you in a dither with his zither (a laptop string instrument)."

Or prehaps an aviation movie like the scene is what the future of aviation held?

Q10/  google not helping.  Google mentions the original king kong movie having 4 biplanes.  Its not "those magnificent men and thierflying machines."
Damn, should pay more attention to the endings..

I swear, i never knew there were so many aviation movies.  I'm leaning towards one called "the court marshall of billy mitchell" (1955)  Gary Cooper plays billy mitchell.  It's set in Washington DC, a courtroom drama, set in 1925.  Billy Mitchell was a army bloke, who pushed for planes being seen as valuable fighting resources, when most people still thought they were good for only surveillence etc.  He predicted the use of planes in pearl harbour....so the final shot...of biplanes turning into jets, sortof fits with it showing he was vindicated for his radical ideas.   Seems he was courtmarshalled for ignoring orders, and using a plane in WW1 as a bomber...or something.
Either that...or some sort of time-warping king kong movie.

Boxsey, we are humbled in the face of your magnificence and persistence.

As for Prince Valiant, according to http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title.jsp?stid=87144 there's a full synopsis (have to click to open it) which says Gawain actually won the joust - just don't know whether it should be PV because I think he got the girl in the end.

Aw, Boxsey - you have to let it go!  Should we wait for anyone else's opinion?

I presume your other half/young child/parent will now be entering the competition and if they/you win this I really will be celebrating - you really deserve this one!
