i think the code is merely a reflection of the genre that this site is...not of the legitimacy of it...it's a skater site,  they're being cheeky..totally expected I think...

Ditto - The codes were given out to a group interviewed in Melbourne the e-mail said...we can get the freebie AFTER we buy something from globe.

I never got that email, and I claimed two early last week..perhaps they were overwhelmed from requests and stopped it which is understandable... I dont think its rude at all...

I got this in my email today,it was a comp I entered a couple of weeks ago listed here on the boards,
As you can read the code had already been used :( and not by me..I am 100ks out of Perth.
So maybe just a heads up on adding codes to comp posts really its a first in uses it and anyone  else is running this happening.
 it seems that they do check them.

The code was never meant to be given out to people in general, so im not fussed.. I ended up purchasing another tshirt, not only do I get that at half price, free postage but im also geting the free t-shirt. So thats two globe t-shirts for $22, Im pretty happy with that!

I am still waiting on my Globe T-shirt that i entered over 2 weeks ago :(

I applied for my self and partner.......... I got email saying nope sorry, and he has not received one at all yet, and I entered them both on the same day

I recieved an email saying sorry but the code was given out to people in melbourne but i could get half price on a t shirt or something.

I live in melbourne, I used the code and I didn't receive anything or get an e-mail.

seems they made at least one sale, so it worked well.

I tried to order (using the code) last week, after receiving the email and it wouldn't go through. I rang them and they rang me back twice, and were extremely helpful and I have just successfully paid for a T Shirt, with 50% off with a special code they gave me and they
are also sending me a free T Shirt with that. I think they went out of their way to be helpful. Thanks so much Oldfellow for posting this :)

I also entered the code, got the same message you all got.
The guy who phoned me and e-mailed me was really nice and polite.
I bought a trucker cap for only $10 (that's half price), and they sent me a free T shirt in the size I wanted. Free express post. The order was processed yesterday, and I picked up the package from the PO today! Now that's service!
$80 worth of product for only $10. BARGAIN Christmas present for my son.
No complaints from me even if the code is some rude teenage boy thing.

I received my TShirt order yesterday. I am very impressed. I received $90+ worth of TShirts for $24.99 including free postage. I used the code they sent me in the email to get the TShirt I paid for half price plus the other code that was initially posted here. Thanks to the poster. Very happy :)
