Win with Carmex

Carmex was invented in the USA in the 1930′s by chapped lip sufferer Alfred Woelbing. He very carefully handfilled small glass pots with his special formula and sold his product to pharmacists from the boot of his car.  Since then Carmex has become an international favourite with 130 Carmex products being sold every minute worldwide and 8 decades later the Woelbing family still run the company.

There are four Carmex lip balm products to choose from to cater for all tastes. You can get your Carmex in a pot as originally invented by Alfred Woelbing in the 1930′s and now you can also get it in a squeeze tube and a click stick in the original flavour as well as a strawberry flavoured click stick.

Carmex is a moisturising lip balm containing natural moisturisers like cocoa butter and lanolin. It will give healthy looking lips while relieving dryness and chapping. It is great for use under your lipstick to moisten and protect your lips as well as helping your lipstick glide on smoother.

There is a strong tingle associated with the use of Carmex which comes from the camphor and menthol included to soothe and relieve chapping to achieve healthy lips that feel as good as they look.  And if the tingle doesn’t tickle you then the fact that it’s broad spectrum SPF 15 is sure to.

Carmex products are road tested on family rather than animals and all undertake rigorous chemical analysis and testing before hitting the market. Though designed for lips it seems that Carmex is useful in so many other ways. Apparently it is also very good for softening cuticles, smoothing elbows and knees, relieving the itch of athlete’s foot (as long as you use something disposable to apply the Carmex, ick), drying pimples out faster and as an antiseptic for minor cuts, burns and bites.

That is one versatile little lip balm. Maybe make sure you have a dedicated, very clearly marked Carmex for all your lipless uses though because that’s something you really don’t want to get mixed up.

The Carmex range is available nationwide in all good pharmacies and the squeeze tube is now available in selected Woolworths and Safeway stores.

Long lasting is no exaggeration with this protective, moisturising, SPF 15 lip balm. Just a handful of the Carmex range is a year’s worth of lip balm which makes it as appealing to the wallet as it is to the lips.

We have 3 x 1 year supply of Carmex to giveaway. Each pack contains 2 jars, 2 tubes, 1 original stick and 1 strawberry stick. RRP value is $35.80. For your chance to win tell us why you need Carmex all year round!

Competition closes March 14th 2011, midnight AEST.
