Terms and Conditions Woolworths Easter egg hunt competition
1. Information on how to enter this competition forms part of the Terms and Conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia.
3. Entry to the competition is free.
4. Employees and their immediate families of Woolworths and its related companies and agencies involved in this
promotion are ineligible to enter.
5. The competition commences at 12.01am (AEST) on 30/03/2011 and concludes on 11.59pm (AEST) on 26/04/2011.
6. To enter, visit woolworths.com.au and follow the links to view the online catalogue. Find the hidden Easter eggs with
letters on them throughout the catalogue to spell out the secret Easter word. Then click to enter and provide your full
name, telephone number, email and postal address. You may enter as many times as you like.
7. There will be a different secret Easter word each week with a prize draw each week for 4 weeks. Entries for each
weekly prize draw open at 12.01am (AEST) on 30/03/11, 06/04/11, 13/04/11 and 20/04/11 respectively and close at
11.59pm (AEST) on 05/04/11, 12/04/11, 19/04/11 and 26/04/11 respectively.
8. Four weekly prize draws will take place at 11am AEST on 8/04/11, 15/04/11, 22/04/11 and 29/04/11 respectively at
Unit 1, 3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100.
9. The first 50 valid entries drawn in each weekly prize draw will each win a $20 Woolworths Gift Card. The total value of
the prize pool is $4,000. There are a total of 200 prizes to be won.
10. Prizes cannot be transferred and cannot be redeemed for cash.
11. Prizes are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing.
12. If a winner is under 18 years of age, then the prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of the winner.
13. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. Winners will be notified within 2 days of each weekly prize draw and published on woolworths.com.au on 11/04/11,
18/04/11, 25/04/11 and 2/5/11 respectively. Winners will also receive notification in writing.
15. The Promoter shall conduct such draws as may be necessary at Unit 1, 3 Green Street, Brookvale NSW 2100 on
29/07/11 to distribute any prizes in the draw described in term [9] above which have not been won instantly or which
have been won instantly but which have not been claimed by that date subject to any written direction given under
clause 37 of the Lotteries and Gaming Regulation 1993 (SA). Winners will be notified in writing.
16. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not redeem an element of the prize by 29/10/11 then that
element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
17. All entries become the property of the Promoter and entries will not be returned. All winning entries will be entered into
a database. With the consent of the winner, the Promoter may use the winner's full name and other details for any
promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without any fee being paid to the winner.
18. To the full extent permitted by the law neither the Promoter nor any of their associated agencies accepts any liability
for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property arising
from or in connection with this offer.
19. If the Promoter forms the view in its sole discretion that an entry or the entry process for any entrant has been
tampered with or otherwise does not comply with these rules, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to
disqualify that entry.
20. If for any reason the Promoter determines in good faith and its sole discretion that this promotion is not capable of
running as planned due to any agent or event beyond the control of the Promoter, which might corrupt or affect the
administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion or which may change the intended result
or prevent or hinder its determination, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion at any time
and recommence it on similar terms and conditions when and as determined by the Promoter.
21. If you enter this competition, the Promoter will collect personal information about you so that you can participate in the
competition and the Promoter can administer the competition. To do this, the Promoter will disclose your personal
information to organisations to which the Promoter outsources functions, and organisations associated with this
competition. If you do not provide your personal information, you cannot participate in the competition. If you require
