Also a reminder for those wishing to sell any unwanted prizes, to please use the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections for this purpose.  Please do not list your intent to sell in this thread, as this would show Trainees what is available and would invite them to pm a seller directly.  Trainees do not have access to the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections, and have to attain the status of Junior Member before they are allowed to trade.  This rule is to protect our trading community from members who have no established posting history in ACC.

I received a phone call saying i won a CARS 2 prize pack today worth $216. Good thing my daughter is so into cars atm. Thanks sammyt for post.

My Rimmel Sexy pack arrived today with a letter stating that because it took so long to send out ( 3 weeks instead of a week or so) the pack was now worth about $100 instead of $50  :shock: Gosh, I wish everyone was so generous  :shock: 8) :D Think I'll send them a lovely thank you email  :D

Edit: Parcelman just left it on the front verandah, have only just got home from a day up the coast, grrrrrr

I've just received the funniest 'special delivery' ever!  I missed the delivery guy yesterday who left a card, so I rang Toll Delivery to see when they could next deliver the unexpected package (meanwhile I'm trying hard not to fantasize about what I might have won).  Toll said they'd deliver the next day, around the same time.  I couldn't pick it up as it was coming from the other side of Melb.  So I've been home all morning, waiting for the delivery (trying REALLY HARD not to get excited) and finally the doorbell rings.  I sign for the package, which is a box larger than a shoe box but very light.  Wondering what on earth it might be, I open the box and inside is a large foam insulation container.   Hmmm, it must be very delicate and breakable (expensive???!!!).  I open the foam container and inside is .... drumroll please ... a full-sized icepack and a CHOCOLATE BAR.  :shock: :shock: :shock:  OMG, I didn't know whether to fall on the floor laughing or cry!!!!  It's from a survey I entered, they said they'd send me a sample to try but the delivery saga/amount of packaging is just ridiculous!!!  My husband jokingly said yesterday that it's probably just a movie ticket - I wish!  :lol:

Received an email today advising me that i've won a Cars 2 Prize Pack. Thank you to all members who take their time to post competitions. My boys are very excited to watch Cars 2 at the movies.

Thanks msjules!  Yes the disappointment was slightly crushing but I could definitely see the funny side of it.  And it wasn't even a big block of chocolate, just 3 bite-sized pieces - wish I could post a photo of the packaging, it has to be seen to be believed!  And being the generous person that I am, I even shared (reluctantly) the choc with my boys.  :D

bubbalor, it was a 25 WOL (which I hardly ever win).  The question was "For 100 years Australians have rubbed on the Goanna... tell us what your favourite Goanna product is and why?" And my answer was "Since I was a mere gecko in size, Goanna Oil has been my choice after sport for my arms back and thighs. How very wise!"

After a quiet couple of weeks, a $100 DIVA giftcard arrvied today from the WHO 1000th edition comp and a WEM from Lasoo for a Target Eye Catcher bra - yippee!
