Also a reminder for those wishing to sell any unwanted prizes, to please use the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections for this purpose.  Please do not list your intent to sell in this thread, as this would show Trainees what is available and would invite them to pm a seller directly.  Trainees do not have access to the Unwanted Prizes or Auction sections, and have to attain the status of Junior Member before they are allowed to trade.  This rule is to protect our trading community from members who have no established posting history in ACC.

Been away for a few days but came back to a bottle of Pomegranate oil, smells nice. No idea where it came from but I've been lazy the past couple of weeks not entering comps, so the oil is appreciated and the inspiration I needed to enter comps again  :lol:

Aside from the Masterchef Kid's Pasta Kit that turned up last week from Lasoo, I have just received today from them a Razer three wheel scooter thingy.

The kids are over the moon!

This was in Lasoo's weekly $1000 gift card giveaway; I didn't win but they liked my entry enough to send some toys.  It was inthe first week where a comment needed to be left on a games console; mine was"When the kids are sad they can always be "consoled" with Wii"

Recieved a wonderful phone call on friday about the Pura cash cow competion.....5000 voucher .YAY

Here was my answer : My favourite shoes are my ever-dependable ugg boots because they are comfy, warm and take seconds to put on. Cleverly (I think) I bought them in chocolate brown so I can get away with wearing them with jeans, but they just look silly with a skirt. The other drawback is that they really AREN’T suitable for all occasions, so a pair of FancyFlats would be AWESOME to have in my handbag ready to slip on when more acceptable footwear is required.

Just starting entering comps in the last month, a WEM from PALGN for a Dungeon Seige III game and guide has given me the comping bug again!!

My niece won the Dorrito Battle of the Flavours! $10,000!! She is only 17 and she asked me to thank everyone who voted for her in the first round as she was only 2 votes in front 30 mins before the closing time. She is beside herself, so THANKYOU to everyone who took the time to vote.

My sister is putting it in a Term Deposit for her so she can go OS next year. She actually won $11,000 so she is allowed to spend the first $1000.

Just had my first win - double tickets to singalong "Grease".  I'm "totally devoted" to Comping Club!  Value about $26, small but a night out for us that we didn't have to pay for!!!  Only been a member for a week, so I'm really pleased.

Finally received my $100 wish card from the Woolies Harpers Bazaar promo in March
And just received 2 emails from lifestyle for product reviews , a simple green cleaning pack  & a nappy rash spray
So that's 4 lots of products iv,e had to review in a month (diff ) websites

i entered my sister in a winthisnow comp and she won! i'm always telling her she should enter comps, that she might be lucky, I'm very happy to have made her day!

I'm also going to review a nappy rash spray, will come in handy as I have a toddler in nappies.

I won an all day parking voucher from Secure Parking on a Twitter comp - thanks Culturebird  (again)!

Also, (more a freebie than a win) a free transaction with Tranzfers/Ozforex (a great cheap international money transfer service I use) simply for commenting on their FB page

...and so my good fortune continues this week...my first ever Iron Maiden CD from The Mouth Adelaide.

I also received an e-mail advising that I won a travel voucher and 'photo' shoot and picture worth $2500.

Unfortunately, there might be an issue with this as I cannot book in until October 2011 and I believe that there has been a request that it is utilised within 30 days (despite 3 months advised on the competition's terms and conditions).

You are right Mares, I looked back at Uncle Tobys breakfast competitions unfortunately I looked at the wrong one.  Winthis now Uncle Tobys comp had a prize value of $3179 with six winners, about $530 each.  When I added up the things in my prize, the china is already pricemarked and I allowed $50 for 10 boxes of cereal and oats, I got $126.  nowhere near the prize value quoted, nevertheless I am very happy with my polka dot china.

It's not my win but I haven't comped much with exams and crappy internet on a laptop that sounds like a lawnmower.

I told msjules I'd love to goto the good food and wine show but mainly I want to go because the resturant last year the meal was amazing but expensive. Alas I won 2 sets of tickets last year sold 1 set at the door which paid for my entree and main my sister and I shared.

Well msjules said if she won tix she would give them to me. I've had an emotionally draining last few days and she rang me to tell me. When she asked me to guess what she won, I immediately thought OMG Please say a car or a holiday or another 10k. haha but it was infact tickets to the Good Food and Wine Show.

I havent won anything for ages but thats cause I havent been entering much - too much work to do!!.....But then my daughter took a wpc yesterday from lifestlye you.  When I rang today I found out that I had won a power plate vibration machine worth $4995.
No reason not to exercise now :D :D

Re the above:  Was contacted by the promoter and advised that the Cinema I had chosen to see the Grease Singalong at was not going to be holding the show.  She offered me the opportunity to go to another cinema but, as I live in a semi rural area, this wasn't convenient.  She then offered me 4 tickets to my local cinema to see any movie that I would like and I accepted this offer.  I thought it was a good compromise but, as I was really looking forward to the singalong, I am disappointed, especially as it was my first win.  And because I had convinced my 16 year old grandson to come with me - that was a feat in itself :lol:  So, I will still count it as a win and will still enter this promoters comps as they've done the right thing by me.  To all those who get to go to the singalong - have one for me  :D/ :D/ :D/
