The ABC Gardening Australia Expo is looking for talented landscapers, garden designers or students to work within a $1500 budget to create 3m x 6m garden. All successful applicants will have their garden on display for thousands of people to enjoy at the ABC Gardening Australia Expo.
How to enter...
Simply complete the attached application form, including plans, sketches or photo, concept of your entry.
Entrants are not required to spend the full $1,500 on materials to be eligible to enter. The final recommended retail price of your garden on display at the event should be no more than $1,500.

Employees and immediate families of the promoter and staff who have direct involvement in the ABC Gardening Australia Expo Melbourne or ABC TV’s Gardening Australia are ineligible to enter. The $1500 budget is inclusive of materials and this is to be funded by the applicant. To enter, application forms and sketches/plans must be submitted and approved by Expertise Events on or before July 29, 2011. Expertise Events has to right to refuse entry if application is not relevant to the published criteria. Applicants must be available to set up at Caulfield Racecourse, Melbourne on August 31 or September 1, 2011. All applicants must follow on site OH&S rules and regulations set by Expertise Events. No students under the age of 15 years are allowed onsite during set-up. First Prize judging will commence at 9am on Friday September 2, 2011 and all displays set up at this time will be taken as the final entry.Visitors Choice Award nominations will take place over the 3 days and winner will be announced at 3.30pm on September 4, 2011. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part to determine winner. Judges decision is final. Materials used in garden may be on sale while on display if the applicant chooses but the display must not be dismantled until September 4, 2011 at 4.30pm. First Prize is $3000 (provided by Expertise Events). Visitors Choice Prize is $1800 (provided by Expertise Events). Applications open June 10 and end July 29, 2011. The promoter is Expertise Events, Unit 4/1 Skyline Place, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086. ABN 43 003 932 492. Expertise Events does not accept any responsibility for negotiations or variations to the published terms and conditions between winners and suppliers of prizes once the draw has been completed and winners notified. No correspondence will be entered into by Expertise Events regarding the terms and conditions of the prizes.
