Picked up The Adjustment Bureau from Aus Post, I think it might have been the Cosmopolitan comp, if so thanks Ceramics. 

If it was , the Q was something like "what does fate hold in store for you" and my answer was something like "winning this competition"

On Friday the postman left a note saying there was a letter for collection so obvioulsy over the weekend I've been wondering what it is.  Just collected it from the PO and its a DP for The Help which is lovely but it did rather get my hopes up!  Mind you I wish the company that sent me that $150 of skincare which never arrived had used a receipt delivery service!  Now I have just looked at the dp and it says its only valid on 27 and 28 August!  Its from Priceline - has anyone else got one?  I will email Priceline and see what they say.

I just received my Australian Citizenship in a ceremony today and it feels like a 'win' to me. I have been here for almost 38 years and had always put it in the 'too hard basket'. I feel proud to be an Australian Citizen now and wish I had done it sooner.

Got a WPC today from Nestle re. Nestle Gold Win A Trip comp on FB, the guy asked if I still had my purchase receipt and said I would need to scan and email it through to him - wouldn't confirm if or what I'd won!  So I hung up and frantically looked up the comp and found I was most likely the weekly winner of a 32GB iPad 2 ($897) - YAYYYYY!!!    Nestle confirmed that I was indeed the winner of an iPad and also one of ten in the running for a trip to Columbia  :shock: !!!  Have to say, Columbia is NOT a destination that I would include in my Top 20 countries to visit!  I hope they provide a bodyguard for the winner ...  :D  Now that I've won an iPad, that means there's a whole lot of comps that I won't need to be entering any more  :D :D :D

Following on from The Help tickets with an expired date on them.  I emailed Priceline through their website yesterday and they have sent an email apologising and saying they've sent another ticket with NO expiry date.  So do contact Priceline if your pass has the August dates on.

I received an email from Lenovo asking for my delivery details... at first I thought it was spam until I checked the competition website list of winners... Thanks ACC!

I'm not 100% sure what I've won as the email from Lenovo said "You've won for yourself a new Intel powered Lenovo IdeaPad Notebook G570" however the competition regulations indicated that winners after July (ie. now, September) would win an android tablet. Whatever it is, I'm grateful!

Amazing customer service from Nestle - yesterday I got the WPC that I'd won an iPad then today I discovered it sitting on my doorstep after I'd been out all day :shock: !!!  Freaked me out a bit thinking that anyone could have walked past and taken the parcel, can't believe I didn't have to sign for it yet I had to go to the PO to sign for a double pass to The Help  :? !!!  Interesting that some ACCers had use-by-dates on their Priceline tix for The Help, I rushed to check mine and can use it for the duration of movie season.

Got another WPC, this one from ABC VIP, won a double pass to Doctor Who Day of The Daleks screening on Sunday, featuring Q&A with Jon Pertwee (3rd Doctor Who).  My son is a big Doctor Who fan and loves Daleks, so I'm rapt that he can go.  :D

I just won $50 iTunes on Subway!  I believe it is the last day today.

I've had about 2 weeks of frustration as a sandwich or a coke turns up first.  Watching those $50 roll in was a welcome change!

jr nitsch, I do only because when I got the WEM he quoted it back to me.

We set a timer after dinner for ten minutes.  The whole family races around and finds as many things as they can to switch off, recycle or put away for re-using.  It is fun, the kids enjoy it, we aren’t nagging and it is inculcating good 'green' habits for life.

Not terribly inspired I didn't think but it just shows how subjective it all is.  What I thought was my best, most creative and funniest answer in the Coke competition didn't get a look in. 

Already received my first bottle of Biozet too!  Quick work.

I won one of those late last year Wattle, no way did I (or my family) need that much chocolate so I donated it to a local charity to be distributed at a Xmas dinner for the homeless, they were very happy to take it.  They are massive blocks, nearly as tall as me and I struggled to lift it!  If you have kids at school, it would make a good fundraiser.  :)

Isn't is funny reading what everyone is winning or, more to the point, not winning?!  Often it just comes down to plain luck, sometimes you've got and sometimes you don't, but never give up!

Yay for the Eagles over here in the west. msjules - I couldn't even watch the final minutes - I had to change channels! That's my ONLY win in two weeks although my years supply of pasta, olive oil and canned tomatoes arrived yesterday. Ended up with almost double the number of canned tomatoes they said I'd receive...over 200 tins!

I just cannot crack ANY of those instant comps - I will surely fall off my chair if I ever win anything in one of them!

Thanks Venice Queen...thats how I thought it should be....so now Im wondering. I had a HUGE win on there the other night...but it was in the first few wee hours of the day that both prizes were gone already...and I didnt get an email....so Im wondering if there was a glitch! I did email them already!! Have to wait now! Wonder if the other winner got an email? Hmmmm.
