How To Play
Follow weekday clues on our wall (2 will be posted for each venue).
Go to the venue or brand's Facebook page where you think a Micra is hidden (ie: Hordern Pavillion, Sydney).
Look for the Micra polaroid.  (http://fbapps.nissan.com.au/Micraspotting/asset/img/nissan_img.png)
Click on the link, and we'll add it to your score (there's 36 to spot).
In the case that there is a draw between multiple players, the fastest spotter will win.

Prizes
The person to spot the most Nissan Micras wins a new Nissan Micra Ti valued at $19,990.
Weekly prize vouchers (6 in total) valued at $1,250 to spend up a storm on Nicola Finetti designer fashion. (Max one weekly prize per person)
Hint: For extra points, keep your eyes peeled for the bonus clues posted at random times.

How to Enter
To be eligible to enter, you must register your title, full name, email address and contact telephone number on the Nissan Micra Australia Facebook page, www.facebook.com/nissanmicraaus. Registered participants will then be required to locate images of the Nissan Micra on selected Facebook pages. During the Promotion Period, clues leading to the locations of the hidden Nissan Micras will be posted each day from Monday to Friday inclusive. Each day, a new location will be selected and two relevant clues posted on www.facebook.com/nissanmicraaus. On each Saturday during the Promotion Period, a bonus location will be available for entrants to find the hidden Nissan Micra, which will be added to the total score.

When you locate a hidden Nissan Micra, you will be required to click on a text link associated with the image. After clicking on the link, the Micraspotting Facebook application will confirm that you have successfully located the hidden Nissan Micra.

There will be one weekly winner each week during the Promotion Period, and one overall winner. Winners will be selected based on the total number of hidden Nissan Micras spotted and, where relevant, the average time taken to find each hidden Nissan Micra.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Promotion is conducted by Nissan Motor Co. (Australia) Pty. Ltd., ACN 004 663 156, of 260-284 Frankston Dandenong Road, Dandenong South, Victoria 3175 (Promoter).

1. Entry into the Promotion constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Information on how to enter, all entry instructions, advertising material and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.

2. An Entrant is any person who has entered this Promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions. Entry is open to all Australian residents. Persons aged under 18 years should seek their parents’ or guardian’s consent prior to registering and participating in the Promotion. Employees or directors of the Promoter, immediate family members of any employee or director of the Promoter, any retailer, supplier, associated company or agency of the Promoter and any person who the Promoter has previously notified are not eligible to enter.

3. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.

4. Entries for the Promotion open at 00:01 (AEDT) on 7 October 2011 and close at 23:59 (AEDT) on 18 November 2011 (Promotion Period). All entries must be received by the Promoter by 23:59 AEDT on 18 November 2011.

5. Judging for the weekly prizes will take place at 260-284 Frankston Dandenong Road, Dandenong South, Victoria, 3175 at (17.00) (AEDT) on each (Friday). Judging for the major prize will take place at the same location at (17.00) (AEDT) on (Friday).

6. Entries will be judged based on the number of Nissan Micras successfully ‘found’ by each entrant during the relevant weekly period (in the case of the weekly prizes) or over the whole Promotion Period (in the case of the major prize). In the event that one or more entrants have found the same number of Nissan Micras, the entrants will be judged according to the average time taken to locate each hidden Nissan Micra. In each case, the entrant with the lowest average time will be deemed the winner. In the event that two or more entrants are tied for the lowest average time, the entrant who was first in time (based on Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time) to find the hidden Nissan Micras will be deemed the winner. In the event that a clear winner still cannot be determined for one or more weekly prizes and/or the major prize, an extra round of Micraspotting will be created to be played out by the tied entrants. The first entrant to find all the hidden Nissan Micras in this bonus round will be deemed the winner.

7. The weekly prize can be won only once by each entrant, however their tally continues over the duration of the competition towards the major prize and weekly prize winners are also eligible to win the major prize. There are six weekly prizes to be awarded during the Promotion Period. Each weekly prize will comprise one Nicola Finetti gift voucher for AU$1,250.00. Redemption of the gift voucher is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher.

8. There will be one major prize awarded at the end of the Promotion Period. The major prize is a Nissan Micra Ti automatic motor vehicle in (red) valued at up to $19,990.00.
The total prize pool is $27,490.00.

9. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prize values are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, or merchantability of the prize(s).

10. The major prize vehicle comes with on road costs including stamp duty, dealer delivery, 12 months registration and CTP. Any and all optional extras, including metallic paint and accessories, will be at the major prize winner’s expense and will be subject to availability.

11. The major prize will be delivered to the major prize winner’s closest Nissan dealership. The major prize winner is responsible for all costs associated with attending the relevant dealership to collect the major prize.

12. In the event that the major prize winner is under 18 years of age and/or does not hold a current Australian drivers’ licence, the major prize will be transferred into the name of the winner’s nominated parent/guardian.

13. Prize winners will be published on the Nissan Micra Australia Facebook page on each Monday during the competition period.

14. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

15. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Incomplete, inaudible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.

16. Entrants are only permitted to register to participate in the promotion once. Entrants can only enter in their own name. The use of automatic entry software, mechanical or electronic devices that allows an individual to automatically enter the Promotion is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.

17. By entering this Promotion, the Entrant consents to the Promoter’s use of his or her personal details (including name, likeliness, image and/or voice) for any marketing and advertising (in any form of media) that the Promoter may choose for an unlimited period without remuneration.

18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the Entrant’s identity particulars (including but not limited to an Entrant's identity, age, place of residence and proof of purchase). Proof of identification, age, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.

19. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will take no responsibility for any prize(s) damaged or lost in transit. Once the prizes have left the premises of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated agencies or the companies associated with this promotion, the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated agencies and the companies associated with this promotion will not be responsible for any delay, failure to deliver, or damage caused to the prize (s) during transit.

20. The Promoter reserves the right to prohibit the winner (s) taking part in any or all aspects of the prize(s), if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion that the winner(s) are not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize(s).

21. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements.

22. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from any offender(s) are reserved. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

23. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion as appropriate.

24. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, the Promoter’s officers, employees and agents, the Promoter’s related companies and all those entities' personnel exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, including loss of opportunity) which is suffered or incurred by any individual in connection with the Promotion or prizes, including: (i) any direct, indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the negligence; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death. Nothing in these conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia.

25. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, the Promoter’s officers, employees and agents, the Promoter’s related companies and all those entities' personnel exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, including loss of opportunity) which is suffered or incurred by any individual in connection with the Promotion or prizes, including but not limited to: (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (iv)any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions; (v)any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; (vi) any prize(s); or participation in or use of any prize(s).

26. The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every Entrant. No correspondence will be entered into.

27. The Promoter may require the winner(s) from the promotion to partake in media exposure, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing and publicity without any further reference, payment or other compensation.

28. All entries and entry details become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may use the prize winner(s) personal details (including name, likeliness, image and/or voice) for any marketing and advertising (in any form of media) compensation, unless the prize winner(s) advises the Promoter otherwise when accepting the prize. By entering the promotion, unless the Promoter is otherwise advised, Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information provided for facilitating the promotion, awarding prizes and for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, and disclosing that information to its related entities and contractors for those purposes. I already browsed hundreds of websites and facebook links during the last three odd hours - nothing! I used keywords like: wharf, quay, restaurant, hotel, bar, boat, cruise, drink etc.

Any other ideas?

i tried spirit of tasmania thinking it wouldbe it, no go.

I'm thinking a boat could be a tinny - some drinks are tinnies - thanks = gratitude but after 2 hours of searching - still no luck here.

just some thoughts to get brains working:

boat= Schooner? clipper? cruise? cruiser? liner? vessel?
drinks= schooner, pint, pots,

As far as I remember they only ever used Facebook pages from shopping, fashion or restaurant sites.

I haven't had much luck with marina, boatshed, castaway, Endeavour but then I have shockingly slow internet too.

I should note that rather than WORK OUT the answer, I am searching for the answer by other means.  For example by Googling or searching Twitter for Micraspotting or #micraspotting.  Or Google " to win a shiny new Nissan Micra".

I am pretty annoyed with these Nissan guys since they never post at the same time. Usually I would sit outside to have my lunch break on the deck; but now I am sitting in front of my PC. I’m a little unclear on the final judging on this comp.  I read that the weekly prize get give to the person who found the hidden cars the quickest.
But is this also the case for the major prize too? Or does everyone that found the 36 cars all get entered in together?

It's bee discussed on their FB wall, and apparently the grand prize winner is the person who has found all 36 links the quickest (fastest average time over all 36). I only found the comp 6 days in so this would drag my average right down. I'm thinking you would have had to know about the comp and be entering from Day 1 to be in with a shot, but I guess it's possible to win, if some people are getting these last harder ones slowly.

It would be all okay if they would post the clues all at the same time of the day. It's rude to let people wait all day until they run out of time because they already wasted the whole day on waiting. People do have a life and some responsibilities and they can not just let it go for 36 days in a row.
