TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Pulsar Watches24 Days of
Christmas - December 2011
1. Entry is only open to Australian and NZ residents who registered as 'liking' the official Pulsar
Watches Australia fan page on Facebook during the time of the promotion or earlier.
Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this
promotion are ineligible.
2. Multiple entries per person are permitted as long as they are original in concept.
3. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
4. Promotion commences Thursday, 1st December 2011 and will run until 11:59pm (Australian
Daylight Savings Time) Saturday, 24th December 2011 (the promotion period).
5. The judging will be conducted by Seiko Watches Australia (The Promoter). Winners will be
notified via email (where they will be asked to supply a current address and confirm their
details). Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. To enter, participants must subscribe, or be subscribed, to the Pulsar Watches fan page on
Facebook, and submit an entry by filling in the supplied form and answering the appropriate
question in 25 words or less.
6A. Each daily competition will be treated as a separate competition. Only entries received on
that day will be applicable to that prize.
6B. Competition can be found on the 24 Days of Christmas! tab on the Pulsar Watches fan
page on Facebook.
7. The best and most creative entries, as judged by The Promoter, will win. Winning entries will
be judged on merit and creativity.
8. Entrants guarantee on submission that the contents of the comment(s) will not be obscene
or defamatory.
9. By entering, the entrant or entrants agree that The Promoter may use entry materials for any
promotional purposes.
10. There will be twenty-four (24) winners. The winning entry for each day will win the
designated prize for that day. All prizes are in AUD. Day 1 prize RRP$338.99. Day 2 prize
RRP$500.00. Day 3 prize RRP$225.00. Day 4 prize RRP$275.00. Day 5 prize RRP$285.00. Day 6
prize RRP$169.00. Day 7 prize RRP$310.00. Day 8 prize RRP$560.00. Day 9 prize RRP$234.99.
Day 10 prize RRP$250.00. Day 11 prize RRP$264.00. Day 12 prize RRP$250.00. Day 13 prize
RRP$264.99. Day 14 prize RRP$450.00. Day 15 prize RRP$315.00. Day 16 prize RRP$199.00. Day
17 prize RRP$195.00. Day 18 prize RRP$275.00. Day 19 prize RRP$225.00. Day 20 prize
RRP$360.00. Day 21 prize RRP$314.99. Day 22 prize RRP$395.00. Day 23 prize RRP$255.00. Day
24 prize RRP$250.00. Total number of prizes: twenty-four (24). Total value of giveaway
AUD$6,995.96.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prizes are not
transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
12. In the event that a prize, or an element of a prize, is/are not available, the Promoter
reserves the right to substitute prize(s) in its discretion to the same and equal recommended
retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various lottery
Departments.
13. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not
limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud,
technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or
affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the
Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with
the entry process.
14. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any
telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer
equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web
site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to
participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or
down-loading any materials in this competition.
15. Any costs associated with accessing the Pulsar Watches page on Facebook is the entrant’s
responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any entry not including
a supplied form with the answer to the designated question shall be deemed invalid.
16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any merchandise that has been lost, stolen, forged,
damaged or tampered with in any way.
17. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If
the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.
By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the
Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and
publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the
entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. A request to access, update or
correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide identity and residency at the
