The February MGF Promotion (“Promotion”) will be held at Treasury, commencing at 2pm on Wednesday 1st February and finishing at the conclusion of the 8pm prize draw on Saturday 18th February 2012. (“Promotion Period”). All times are listed in Australian Eastern Standard Time. 2. Twenty-four (24) prize winners will be drawn on The Main Gaming Floor Stage, Level 1 at Treasury (“Draw Location”) during the Promotion Period. Prize Draws will each be held on Wednesday 1, 8 and 15 and Saturday 4, 11 and 18 February 2012 (each a “Draw Day”). Entries into the Prize Draws can be generated by: a. on gaming machine play, the Eligible Entrant correctly inserting their Membership Card into the gaming machine, recording the required volume of play and removing their Membership Card from the gaming machine during the Entry Period; or b. on rated table game play, the Eligible Entrant providing their Membership Card to the table game dealer upon commencement of play within the Entry Period. The Eligible Entrant’s table game play will be entered via TableLink and electronically uploaded into the Casino Management System upon recording the required volume of play. An Eligible Entrant’s session of table play ends when the table game dealer swipes their Membership Card to finish off their play (failure to do this may result in an entry not being available for inclusion in any Prize Draw). It is the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility to request the table game dealer to finish off their session of play so that their Prize Draw entry may be included in the next Prize Draw; and c. in either case, the Eligible Entrants who have earned entries in accordance with Conditions 5, 6, & 7 can swipe their Membership Card at a member kiosk during the Entry Period on a Draw Day to be eligible to enter that day’s Prize Draw. Entries generated according to these Conditions of Entry will be included in the relevant Prize Draw (“Prize Draw Entry”). Prize Draw 8. Each Prize Draw Entry will be automatically allocated a unique individual entry number using the Casino Management System. The number range programmed into an approved Random Number Generator (“RNG”) will be set for each Prize Draw to include all the entry numbers for Prize Draw Entries included in that Prize Draw. 9. At each Prize Draw, the name and membership number of the four (4) Eligible Entrants will be selected by random selection using the relevant entry numbers for that Prize Draw (“Selected Entrants”). The name (and membership number if applicable) of the Selected Entrants will be announced at the Draw Location. Selected Entrants must be “present at the Prize Draw” pursuant to Condition 10. 10. To be deemed “present at the Prize Draw”, the Selected Entrants must present themselves to a Treasury representative at the Draw Location, Sovereign Room Bar or Sovereign Room Desk within three (3) minutes of their name being announced and provide suitable identification in accordance with Conditions 20 or 21 within five (5) minutes of presenting themselves. Selected Entrants are not permitted to send a proxy to claim a Prize. Selected Entrants that are “present at the Prize Draw” are suitably indentified “Identified Selected Entrants”. 11. If any of the Selected Entrants at a Prize Draw do not satisfy these Conditions of Entry, a re-draw will take place immediately at the Draw Location. The Promoter will conduct up to three (3) redraws if required. Each Selected Entrant drawn in a re-draw under this Condition 11 will have three (3) minutes to present at the Draw Location and confirm their identity within five (5) minutes of presenting themselves in accordance with Conditions 20 or 21 in order to claim a Prize. Selected Entrants are not permitted to send a proxy to claim a Prize. If after three (3) redraws in this manner a Selected Entrant who satisfies Condition 10 and this Condition 11 cannot be located to claim a Prize, the Prize will be awarded to the Selected Entrant drawn first at that Prize Draw and that Selected Entrant will not be required to satisfy Condition 10 (“Default Prize Draw Selected Entrant”). The Default Prize Draw Selected Entrant so selected will be notified of their win by phone or mail in accordance with their membership details held by the Promoter. Any Default Prize Draw Selected Entrants will be required to collect their Prize from the Sovereign Room Desk on level 2 at Treasury and provide identification in accordance with Conditions 16 or 17 at the time of collection. 12. Prizes will be allocated in the order that the Selected Entrants are identified as Identified Selected Entrants or Default Prize Draw Selected Entrants (with the first Selected Entrant Identified as an Identified Selected Entrant or Default Prize Draw Selected Entrant being eligible for Prize 1 and so on). Prizes 13. Each Identified Selected Entrant or Default Prize Draw Selected Entrant (as the case may be) will, subject to compliance with these Conditions of Entry, be eligible to win the following each draw day (each a “Prize”) in the order in which they were drawn: a) Prize 1: $5,000 Travel Voucher plus $10,000 cash b) Prize 2: $5,000 cash c) Prize 3: $3,000 cash d) Prize 4: $2,000 cash 14. Winners may choose to take the cash Prize in the form of cash or a cheque or a combination of both. 15. The Travel Voucher will be supplied by Harvey World Travel, Queen Street, Brisbane City (“Dealer”). 16. Harvey World Travel as part of their terms and conditions place a 12 month expiry on the travel voucher. Travel Voucher will expire February 2013. 17. Once the Harvey World Travel prize has been selected it cannot be exchanged for alternate prizes or offers, is not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. 18. If the Harvey World Travel Prize Winner fails to utilise their Harvey World Travel Voucher, the Promoter will deem the Harvey World Travel Prize Winner to have forfeited their entitlement to the Prize or any other prize in the Promotion. Total Prize Pool 19. The total prize pool for the promotion is $150,000 cash. Identification 20. A Selected Entrant must produce valid acceptable identification to a representative of the Promoter to confirm their eligibility to win a prize. Valid identification acceptable to the Promoter will be either one form of valid photographic identification (Passport or Australian driver’s licence) with an undamaged clearly visible photograph, or two other forms of non-photographic identification acceptable to the Promoter. 21. The Promoter reserves the right to waive or vary the identification requirements at its sole discretion in circumstances where the identity of a Selected Member is determinable by a representative of the Promoter without the assistance of these or any other form of identification. General 22. Directors, management and employees of the Echo Entertainment Group of companies (including any related body corporate as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) and their immediate families, which has the meaning given to that phrase in the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Rule 1999 (Qld) are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. The Echo Entertainment Group comprises, but is not limited to the businesses of The Star, Jupiters Hotel and Casino, Treasury Casino and Hotel and Jupiters Townsville. 23. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for alternate prizes. Any tax liability or implication which attaches to a Prize is the responsibility of the Selected Member claiming that Prize. 24. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage) by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the Prizes offered except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter. To avoid any doubt, the Promoter shall not be liable for loss caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the control of the Promoter. 25. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of the Promoter. 26. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue which is not inconsistent with these terms and conditions. 27. While the Promoter intends to conduct the Promotion as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Promotion or a prize offered in the Promotion if it can no longer continue the Promotion or offer a Prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control. 28. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late or non-received entries. The Promoter does not guarantee the continuous or fault-free operation of the entry processes, including entry validating and receipting processes, during the Promotion. 29. Any entrant who tampers, or attempts to tamper, with the entry processes or tampers, or attempts to tamper with the processes used for the draws or who submits an entry which is not valid in accordance with these terms will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Promoter. 30. Selected Entrants may be asked to participate in publicity or advertising at the request of the Promoter. Participation in any such publicity or advertising is at the sole discretion of the relevant Selected Entrant. The names of Selected Entrants will not be published without their consent except as announced at the Draw Location. 31. Participation in the Promotion indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions governing the Promotion. These terms and conditions will be available at the Customer Service Desk at the Treasury Casino throughout the Promotion Period. 32.
